I was scrolling around on Messenger and found my old graphics. Some of them are really cringy. XD And then I thought, why not put them in my portfolio to see my progress?

Here are the surviving few of my old graphics (cuz they got deleted along with the other files in my old phone):

7th Grade GFX

AKA The Beginner Days

I started editing when I was in 7th grade. I started off with very simple covers. I was using canva.com back then. It's pretty plain and empty. Just a plain background, a render, and some simple fonts.

Then, I encountered jiminist's graphic tutorials and started editing on my phone. Phonto and Pixlr are the only apps that I'm using that time. I just played around with the effects. That's when I made my first graphic set.

8th Grade GFX

AKA The Golden Days

I was most active in graphics editing in 8th grade. That's the time when I discovered Picsart and PixelLab. I also started using light textures and embosed fonts.

I developed different graphic styles. Simple manipulation is my favorite. I just blend in the background and the renders so it will look like one picture. It became my most used graphic style.

I also experimented around with the free templates I found. That's when I achieved the kind-of-blended look. XD I'm never really good with blended graphics. XD I lean more on the simple styles.

Aaaaaand you guessed it right. I changed my username. :>

9th Grade GFX

AKA The Gloomy Days

I was on a one year hiatus on Wattpad as well as graphics editing. I only make graphics when I feel the need to change my icon and header or my covers or whenever I feel like it.

Due to the lack of practice, my graphic skills extremely degraded. I went back to the plain style and relied on aesthetics too much.

For some reason, everything was really gloomy. It's like my art prowess was taken away from me. Yes, I improved my drawing and calligraphy skills, but everything I made still looks gloomy. I guess I'm just tired from schoolwork.

These are the worst graphics I made. My 7th grade graphics are much better that these. 😭😭

10th Grade GFX

AKA The New Era

This whole portfolio contains my 10th grade graphics (though classes haven't started yet). You can see my new progress on the next chapters of this book.

I will be placing some works here every month to see my monthly progress.
