"Earth to Marshall."

Marshall snapped his attention to Reginald, he suddenly realised he was sitting in the passenger seat of Reginald's car.

He paid attention to Reginald for a second as Reginald drove down the street.

"Why'd you have to tell Doctor Snapell? Now she's gone." Marshall shifted his gaze out the passengers window.

"Larna will never be gone." Reginald began.

Marshall glared at Reginald "Well, clearly she is. Don't give me the she's always with you speech."

"It's part of my job to let Doctor Snapell know about you." He shifted his attention to Marshall as he stopped the car in the driveway of Marshall's house.

Marshall felt like he was beginning to lose trust in Reginald, he felt like he was losing trust in his own mind.

Marshall knew Larna wasn't in his house, he knew something had happened to her but he or anyone else could figure out what happened.

He tried to remember that last time he had seen her, the last time he had touched her, the last time he spoke to her.

Larna was his friend, his life support and now she suddenly wasn't.
