Chapter Eleven
Marshall sat on his bed; his thoughts felt empty. His heart felt empty.
Marshall felt like a shell of himself.
He hated that he couldn't see Larna, he couldn't hear Larna, he couldn't even feel her presence.
Even the perfume she wore seemed like it was no longer lingering around his home.
With each blink of his eyes, Marshall felt like he was forgetting the one person he promised he'd never forget.
Marshall jumped a little as he heard a knock on his bedroom door, he watched as his door opened.
Reginald stood in the doorway "Hey mate, dinner's ready."
"Not hungry." Marshall spoke with an empty voice.
Reginald didn't take it to heart "Just one bite, I'll bring it in here for you."
Marshall shook his head.
Reginald held back his sigh "Alright. Well I'll put it in the fridge for you. Just let me know when you're hungry." He didn't want to pull his gaze from Marshall, he didn't want to walk away from Marshall's bedroom but could hear the rumble of his stomach begging for dinner.
Reginald slowly pulled his gaze away, slowly stepped away from Marshall's room. He left the bedroom door open.
Marshall lowered his head, he let out a deep breath.
