The ships landed in the hangar of the central base in the capital Perfectio, of the planet Life. The doors opened and the soldiers left the ship with their weapons in hand, led by Merko who had already recovered during the voyage, and Crom. Tibor was right behind them, with Fizard and Zidrone. They hoped to find Mirov, but the hangar was empty. Nicholas and Zara stayed on the ship with Drako, who was monitoring the perimeter in search of the enemy's position. Everyone was surprised by the silence of the place.

"Very strange, this lull. Where is that damn Mirov?" Merko raged.

"Be careful. This stinks." Tibor said.

The others walked in their full combat outfits, looking around in search of their opponents. Suddenly, laser shots cut through the air in front of them. A scouting soldier was struck and fell lifeless on the ground.

"Protect yourselves! We're being attacked." Screamed Fizard.

Some lied on the ground, others rushed to a protective position behind the parked ships. Merko, fiercely, fired at his rivals after pulling a laser pistol from his holster. Hundreds of soldiers appeared and the fierce fight began, with melee at the battle front. Nicholas told Zara:

"Stay in safety on the ship, I'm going down to help."

"Be careful, Nick!"

"I've already proved to you that I can fight."

Zara stared at him worriedly. Nicholas summoned his friend, the robot, with his mind. Inside Star Hunter's hangar, the lights of the metallic monster's eyes turned on. The young man, dressed in his combat suit, coupled himself to the robot's back and the two flew together, going toward the enemy soldiers. While the shots were being fired at the exit of the central berth, rockets began to meet the defense lines Mirov had left to try to maintain his power. Explosions threw the tyrant's military up, while the laser beams in the robot's eyes shattered the ground, in front of the enemies, creating true trenches.

Nicholas also shot with his pistol, aided by the ally soldiers.

"Surrender before you're all destroyed." Merko screamed, scaring the enemies, almost defeated.

Seeing that they were subdued with the strength of the robot and the rebellious soldiers, Mirov's forces raised their arms after then put their guns on the ground. With the situation settled, it was time to look for Mirov. To Merko and his friends' surprise, the evil tyrant had fled.

The first step, now, was to capture the king who usurped power.

Drako took over the central computer of the planet's government and penetrated the flight record systems of Mirov's ship. He discovered that he had fled through an unknown space fold. Immediately, he decided to warn Commander Merko:

"Commander, as I invaded the escape logs of the tyrant's ship, I noticed that they entered a strange space fold, which we had never monitored before. The location where the ship Genesis penetrated appears to have been artificially created. I don't understand how this could have happened."

"What an unusual situation, Drako. We need to speak to the space engineers."

"But first let's take care of this planet and straighten things out."

"What are your orders, Commander Merko?" Fizard asked.

"Take some men and release Counselor Kenan and the queen, immediately. Take care of them and leave them in safety. Get Nicholas and Zara to rest from this journey. Me, Crom, Tibor, Sivoc and Drako will go after Mirov. Go find your family and watch over them. I'll ask the queen in person to forgive you."

"Thank you very much, Captain Merko. I don't know how to thank you. Blessed was the hour when I trusted you."

"We want the good of our planet and together we can do what's best for it."

Merko dismissed Fizard and continued:

"Drako, check out Mirov's latest communications and find out his escape route. Prepare Star Hunter ship to leave. Sivoc, please prepare Science spacecraft to go with us too. Let us together search the entire space of the solar system with the two ships. Ask the maintenance personnel at the landing hangar to check for damage to the ships and prepare them as quickly as possible for the tracking and capture trip."

Fizard and his soldiers headed toward the dungeons to free the queen and Counselor Kenan. Everyone on the planet had already been warned of what had happened and the people were happy and satisfied. When the soldiers invaded the dungeons, the cells were open with the guards stationed in the garrisons, waiting for the rescue of the girl and the old man.

Fizard looked at Isadora and said:

"Stand up, Your Majesty. Take your rightful place."

Kenan was barely walking, but moved by the joy of seeing his friend's daughter alive, he walked over to her and said:

"Long live to Queen Isadora!"

In what he was repeated in chorus by Fizard and his soldiers, echoing throughout the prison:

"Long live to Queen Isadora!"

Nicholas and Zara turned themselves into their extraterrestrial shape so as not to catch the attention of the planet's inhabitants. After resting a little, they also decided to help take care of Queen Isadora and Counselor Kenan as soon as they were taken to the royal palace. The counselor was very weak and needed special care. Isadora, pale and thin, which indicated that she was not being well feed, kept her eyes down, as if she didn't believe that any of that was possible. Maybe it was the isolation and the lack of hope, beyond the depression for the loss of her father. The young woman couldn't even provide him with an appropriate funeral.

Before leaving in search for Mirov, Merko ordered that Counselor Kenan and Queen Isadora be put under extreme care, with the aim of restoring their health as quickly as possible.

Nicholas and Zara were talking outside Counselor Kenan's room:

"How could that tyrant do harm to a girl like Isadora, unable to defend herself, by imprisoning her? And mistreat Kenan, an old man who would never be able to escape? I hope Merko gets him and brings him back to prison," Zara said to Nicholas, indignant.

"Darling, tell me: What can I do to help?" Nicholas asked, worried about the two newly released, hugging her.

"They'll be fine. Don't worry, Nick. The worst has passed. The important thing is that now they are free and we'll protect them. As a doctor, I'll help take care of them personally" a noise inside the room caught the attention of both... They entered, immediately, thinking that something had happened.

"Where is Mirov?" Asked Counselor Kenan when he saw them, anxious for the villain's arrest. He had tried to sit down and had knocked over a glass by leaning on the bedside table.

"Merko and the others went after him. Don't worry, Counselor Kenan. Rest, for you have to recover," Nicholas replied, resting his hands on the counselor's shoulders so that he lied down again. He nodded and soon fell asleep.

Soon after, the couple went to the princess's bedroom and she was asleep after being given proper care. She needed to recover from the exhaustion of being abandoned for so long.

Both Nicholas and Zara smiled at each other upon seeing Isadora sleeping a well-deserved sleep and retired to their rooms.

All the employees who worked in the palace began to take care of the queen and the counselor who would be her tutor from now on. Those who worked in the palace were happy for the departure of the usurper king and the arrival of the righteous queen. These would be new times for planet Life. The hope for happy days occupies again the hearts of all the kingdom's subjects.

Meanwhile, Merko and Sivoc searched for signs of Mirov throughout the solar system of the planet Life, but he was already gone. Drako confirmed that he had entered through an atypical time-space rift and the path he had followed wasn't for the planet Earth...

"Where did that tyrant go to?" Drako asked.

"I'll find out even if it takes the rest of my life to find him," Merko replied.

After they couldn't get more information, they returned to planet Life, when everyone took advantage of it to rest from the trip. The commander was worried because he knew that Mirov could plan a new attack on the planet and arresting him would be the best thing to be done.

On his return to the planet, Merko told Drako:

"Could that bastard have gone back to planet Earth through some path we don't know? And if so, what are his plans?"

"Captain, we can't forget that there's still the spy he sent to planet Earth. We need to find out what his plans are."

"It mustn't be a good thing, my friend Drako."

As Merko watched the planet Life approaching in the main hatch, he heard Drako's words.

"That being is evil, Captain."

He knew. Just as much as he feared that monster's next step.

After a few days, Isadora was recovered, as was Counselor Kenan. It was time to prepare for the great party of Queen Isadora I's reign. Everyone was happy to re-establish the throne to its rightful owner. During so many disagreements, it was good to have reasons to celebrate.

Kenan would be the queen's right arm, as expected, because of his experience, loyalty, wisdom, and love for the royal family. At Merko's request, Colonel Fizard was pardoned by the monarch after being heard. He was able to return to his family, and Isadora reestablished him as a soldier in the military, as a reward for his gesture of bravery. His family was now protected from the villain's threats.

The big party day had come. The period of Queen Isadora I's reign began. The palace was prepared for the celebrations and all the subjects were invited. The inauguration ceremony, organized by Kenan, was organized in every detail to be unforgettable. Food and drinks were served to everyone and the atmosphere of party and freedom was contagious among the inhabitants.

Nicholas and Zara danced, enjoying the joy of the environment. Isadora ordered them to throw a party in the molds of planet Earth, to honor Nicholas, who had become a hero of planet Life.

The musicians of the orchestra began playing the themes of the time in which the young man lived and then a DJ animated the event.

As the music played, Zara gently placed her face on her beloved's shoulder and he gently stroked her hand in response.

Then they smiled at each other, happy with the outcome of the very dangerous battle they had waged on Earth. Zara babbled in Nicholas' ear:

"Our daughter will be proud of her father, knowing all you have done to save Queen Isadora and planet Life. You'll have plenty of stories to tell her when we get back."

"All our friends have helped in this achievement. Mostly you. You're my hero, Zara. I'm proud to have you as my wife. I love you!"

The mood of romance between the two was lifted when the queen approached the balcony of the palace, looked at all her subjects with a great affection:

"Long live to Queen Isadora I!" They shouted, followed by a round of applause.

"My beloved friends, brothers, and subjects. The fear is gone. Today we are here to celebrate peace and freedom. No more lies, betrayals, and regret. I came to my people to celebrate, build, listen to what you expect of me, to give my best to you. I will not close myself in pain and mourning." She paused for a while; her eyes filled with tears. "I prefer to honor my father by bringing happiness to the people he loved so much instead of pointing out the culprit. The creature, who judged himself emperor of the planet, fled like a coward; it will be arrested and punished for its acts at the right time, in a just and honest judgment, qualities that he never had. We are back to the times of glory, my people! Let's, together, bring all the evolution we've learned with my father!"

Said the queen, loud and clear, under the applause of the people. When the claps went silent, she spoke again, smiling. "I want to publicly thank Merko, Sivoc, Drako, Tibor, Crom, Nicholas and Zara, who returned to our planet to save me and re-establish the reign. I promise you and each one of ours to take care of this kingdom and watch over the peace and protection of all the inhabitants. I will give my own life if I must. I will rebuild our planet in the molds my father always planned. I will restore the council as has always been the tradition and improve the conditions of our entire population."

During the time she was imprisoned, Queen Isadora thought hard about how to improve the planet. She had promised herself that, if she ever won her freedom, she would make a reign that would make her parents proud, whom she loved so much.

They all cheered in a sign of thanks and admiration, greeting the ruler.

She thanked, immensely happy, as well as those who provided her return to the throne.

While he was present, Merko would be the commander of the military forces. After he left again for Earth, Crom would be the new commander of the planet Life.

The robots, which were reprogrammed to obey the command of the planet Life, stood ready against possible attacks by Mirov, as well as the planet's defense system. Except for the robot that was mentally attached to Nicholas. This one stayed in maintenance at the hangar. It was offered to Nicholas as a gift from Queen Isadora for helping save her twice. The Terran named it Bob and came to see it as a friend, even though it was scary.

That night everyone celebrated the great victory. But they had no idea how difficult would be the days that were yet to come.
