"Damn it Ash! " Will screams as he runs over to me. He sits down beside me and starts trying to pull of my shirt so he can get a better look at the wound. Cocoa and Kaiser land on the other side of me and help Will take off my shirt. They manage to get it off and I hear Cocoa gasp as she sees my wounds again.
Will throws my blood soaked shirt aside and winces at my appearance. Will unwraps the old bandages and I yell as the cool air hits my back. Arsenic looks the wounds over and sighs quietly. I try to sit up but scream in pain and lie back down.
Arsenic walks closer and rests their hands on my back, so lightly that if I wasn't in excruciating pain, I probably wouldn't have even noticed that they were there.
They close their eyes and concentrate and I feel some of my skin sewing itself back together. Then it suddenly stops and Arsenic looks over at me, their face pale. They try again but it doesn't work and they sigh and sit down in defeat. 
"I used all of my power for today. I haven't been able to practice it so it runs out quickly," they say defeated. I smile at them and go to stand up but Kaiser pushes me back down.
She rummages through a backpack and takes out a roll of bandages. Kaiser pours some water over my back to get the blood off and then uses her fire a little over my back to evaporate it. Will then helps me sit up and helps Kaiser get the bandages around me. Cocoa takes a shirt out of my back pack and hands it to Will.
I lift my arms up carefully and he gently puts the shirt on. He then picks me up and walks back to the car. Cocoa gets up front beside Kaiser and I sit next to Will in the very back.
I doze off as the car starts driving and a few hours later Will wakes me up. I stumble out of the car and look at the house. I rub my eyes and yawn, leaning against Will slightly.
He wraps his arms around my waist and I smile and lean into him. I watch as Cocoa looks at the building in awe. Cali and Ray follow Caramel and Arsenic inside. I hear Ink gasp and they all run upstairs.
Will takes my hand and we walk back inside the house. A bunch of the other residents sit in one of the living rooms and instantly bombard me with questions as I walk in.
I sit down on the couch and talk to the others. Kaiser comes over and pulls me out of the fray, taking me back to the infirmary where I had first seen my wings.
A doctor stands there, a clipboard in her hand and her glasses perched on the edge of her nose. I sit down on the examination table and let her take my temperature and blood pressure.
Once she figure that everything is normal she has me take off my shirt. She places her hands on my back, slightly harder than Arsenic did and heals my back. After a few minutes she pulls away, her face showing pure exhaustion.
"I'm guessing they were worse than that but whoever healed them the first time did a lot more than I did," she tells me. My eyes widen as I think of Arsenic having to heal people in the prison cells. 
The doctor walks out of the room and leaves me and Kaiser in there. She pulls herself up onto the counter and sits there. She plays with her hands and looks away from me, her usually confident demeanor gone.
"Should I ask Cocoa on a date?" She asks quietly looking up at me. I smile and give her the thumbs up. She runs her hand through her hair and nods before jumping down off the counter quickly as if she just remembered something.
"Come on, we got to go see how Will's doing with the questions!" She exclaims excitedly. I chuckle and let her lead me out of the infirmary and back to the wall near the living room.
He talks awkwardly to everyone and stutters a lot as he answers their questions. He runs the back of his neck and smiles sheepishly when someone asks him a question that he doesn't know the answer to.
I walk in after a few minutes of watching everyone torturing him and grab his hand. I walk outside and we go into the woods. I spread out my wings and look at him, smiling eagerly.
"Three, two, one, go!" I yell and take off. He gasps and flies after me. I fly around the mountain and lose him after a couple of laps. I land in the cave and watch as he looks for me.
He lands on the ledge and I creep up to the door of the cave. He looks over at the house and I sneak out behind him. I jump out and grab him while screaming.
He turns to me with a hand raised, about to punch me. He sees its me and punches me lightly on the arm and huffs. He turns back around and sits down on the ledge.
I walk over and sit down beside him. I lean against his arm and he throws out any fake hatred for me and wraps an arm around my waist and pulls me closer to his side.
We watch as the sun goes down over the mountain. It leaves a golden yellow glow over the landscape and the house. I look over at Will's eyes and see them shine in the light.
I smile and look back to the sun as it finally hides behind the mountain. He stands up and pulls me up by the wrist. He flies off and I fly beside him. We land in front of the house and walk inside.
I walk to the kitchen and decide to make macaroni and cheese and hotdogs. I pull out the macaroni box and go over to the fridge for the hotdogs. I get a pan and put the hotdogs in with some water and put the macaroni in a pot with boiling water.
I sit on the counter and listen to music with Will while we wait for the hotdogs and macaroni to cook. Will eventually goes over and strains the macaroni before putting it back in the pot and adding cheese and milk.
The food finishes and I grab paper plates from the cabinet beside me. I jump down and grab the hotdog buns from beside the toaster and put two on each plate.
Will scoops macaroni and cheese on each plate as I finish putting condiments on our hotdogs. We sit on the counter once again and eat our food while listening to music, content just to be together and safe again.
