Chapter 30
3rd December 1999,
Theo had been going out of his mind, Katherine never came back from her sisters, thankfully her cousin agreed to take the children. He made up some an excuse as to why Katherine hadn't come, saying that something had happened at St. Mungos, and they need her urgently.
As much as he didn't want to go and talk to her sister, she was most likely the last person she spoke to. He took a few files in hopes she could identify the witch she mentioned in her letter. Theo knew he would have to push through her opinions of him, though a part of him wanted Katherine's sister to like him, mainly for Katherine's sake.
Theo arrived at her sister's house, Louisa hesitantly let him. Theo didn't waste any time trying to explain the situation, he laid down many mugshots of witches who may have asked about Katherine. Louisa looked over the photos, it was difficult as she never saw a face.
"I can't be sure, I never saw her face," Louisa said, "Is there any way you can show height or something similar?"
"Well, what did so look like?" he asked
"I told Katherine she was short and stocky," Theo thought for a moment.
"That sounds like Carrow,"
"Who?"
"Alecto Carrow, she was one of the death eaters that managed to get away," he said, "thanks, I'll tell Katherine to let you know if we find anything,"

5th December 1999,
Still no sign of Katherine anywhere, Theo grew more and more anxious every minute, fearing that she was hurt or dead. He put a warning around the Ministry alerting Aurors of Alecto Carrow's sighting, hoping that if she was found that he may be able to get word on Katherine's whereabouts.
Theo had his head buried in the book looking for any sign of a change in events that they hint at Katherine's location. She had been gone for three days now, he spotted his old friend, Hadrian Black, outside his home, he quickly closed the book, slipping down the side of the sofa cushions.
"Theo? Are you home?" he asked
"What are you doing here?" Theo questioned him,
"I was looking for Parker, my mother said, she'd inform her if they heard any whereabouts of Pettigrew,"
"Alright, I'm working the case too," Theo said, showing Hadrian to the living room.
"According to my mother, Pettigrew has been spotted in Knockturn Alley, heading to Borgin and Burkes, I'm not sure if he's hiding out there, but it's worth checking out right?"
"Yes, for sure, I just need a way to go down there on my own, without being seen,"

Katherine stirred awake, her wrist was bound behind her back, she tried to move, though she was securely tied up she looked around the room. There was no window she could barely see as the room was too dark to make out the dimensions of the room.
She wriggled trying to loosen her wrist, though the sound of a door slamming shut, drew her attention to the listen for who had walked in. She could barely hear, there was most likely a silencing charm on the room to prevent her from hearing anything if she woke, Katherine tried to focus on the voices.
"Does she have the book?" a woman spoke. Katherine was certain she knew the voice.
"N-no," a man stuttered. He must have been the man Alex heard.
"WHAT! I NEED THAT BOOK," she yelled, "I TOLD YOU TO DO ONE THING FOR ME." Katherine flinched at the loud screech coming from the woman.
"I should have known better than to trust you," Katherine heard the woman mutter two words to dreaded to hear "Avada Kedavra!" the words sounded as though she had said them, too many times. Being effective on many people.

In Diagon Alley,
Theo managed to sneak through Diagon Alley, with very few people paying attention to him. As much as Hadrian offered to come with him, he didn't want to put anyone at risk of being hurt. Theo walked through Knockturn Alley, heading to Borgin and Burkes, though the store appeared to be shut down.
He sighed trying to get a look through the window, though the dust-covered window, prevented Theo from having a clear view of the inside. Theo received a tip of Peter Pettigrew from the Ministry he quickly retreated from Knockturn Alley.
At the Ministry of Magic,
Theo marched through the Ministry, praying that this news would bring them solid evidence of Peter Pettigrew's whereabouts and a step closer to finding Katherine. Theo sat in his office waiting for Harry to bring him the news of Peter Pettigrew.
"Good you made it," Harry said, "unfortunately, it isn't great news,"
"What do you mean?"
"Peter Pettigrew was found dead this morning," Theo's clenched his fist punching the wall, scorching his knuckles,

Katherine tried to remain calm, though the deadly silence haunted her thoughts, who had she killed? She thought. What haunted her the most was the effectiveness of the Killing Curse, the unforgivable curse. She dreads what the woman would do to her if she weren't of any use to her.
Katherine's eyes flicked over to the door as she heard the sound of heels walking closer to the door. The door swung open, with a force so strong, it blew her hair away from her face. Katherine stared up at the familiar face, of someone she had seen before, someone she knew was ruthless.
"I believe introductions are in order, they call me the warrior,"
