this is my try-out article to a web magazine i internet for... for 2 whole days. they didn't and won't ever use it. but i think it's good and a lot of people can learn from it. tell me your opinion about this, please!!!

10 characteristic of a girlboss

aka: how to encourage hungarian girls to stand up for themselves

if you are anything like me, you have thoughts you just need to share. why wouldn't you? you are as much of a human being as the rest of them. but if you are really like me, unfortunately your community - mostly male, mostly mansplaning and egoistic community - won't even care about anything you say.

however, you have as much right to engage and be involved into the conversation, into the fight, as them. you are the member of the same community. if you are really like me, then you won't stand down, you will continue to stand up and talk, until...

until you got these names from men: you are loud, shrill and "why is she even horn into the conversation?".

well, there are always exceptions.

but the 21st's young adult generation (or any other generation, for the matter) in hungary is not famous of their advanced and progressive thinking. mostly not about gender equality - and that's what we miss the most.

let's have a look at the american women! women's march, american businesswoman day and so on. michelle obama, oprah, emma watson, people and actresses of color paved the path. they are aspiring, they are pushing forward, and they won't let anyone frighten them. they are demanding for equality, and they have absolutely every right to do that.

so have we.

let's see a few characteristic of these "boss bitches" or simply... the successful women:

1. passionate

they are passionate in their job and in everything they do. this includes that you will stand up for what you believe in or... maybe just don't stop writing.

passion will take you to amazing places! use it!

2. persistent

the route for success is dusty and rugged. it's not simple, but it doesn't have to be simple. what would be the challenge in life if not this? of course, we don't think that always, but we have to stand up, grab those pants - or... that empowering heels that i can't walk in - and move on, so you can rebuild, re-arrange, considering your mistakes. and own them.

3. hard-working

success doesn't come without hard work and hustling. whatever smart or pretty you are, with some connection or not, these doesn't mean anything without hard work.

and it definitely always pays off.

4. bravery

successful women always know when to take risk and take big swings. and they really need to be brave or the business will swallow them.

5. confident

you may not think that, but confidence helps to reach to top. (well, or at least, i know the world of lack of confidence). walk with raised head, keep eye contact and stand still. classical features of a survivor. and they often face with a predator.

6. believe in themselves

if you don't believe that you can do it, nothing matters. those who believe, they succeed.

(classic chinese fortune cookie saying :D and they are always true though)

7. ambitious

if you have a dream, go and chase it! success and ambition walks hand in hand. sky is the limit (no! actually, sky is our point of view! we are not falling off of the edge of our horizon), and it's very possible to reach them!

YES! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

8. their will to study

success women acknowledge that they can't know everything, and they can say that without being ashamed. but they are always open to listen to other people and constantly improve themselves.

9. strong-minded and firm

when they know something, they are not afraid to be firm about the subject. and this always leads to respect. of course, only if they are doing that in a cultured style, confident to your results, and they can proceed calmly, and not like an erupting vulcano.

10. they teach

successful women's one task is to set and example to the new generation and to teach them. they are mentoring them, and know how to bring out the maximom of their employees, and it's one of the things they are so spectecular.
