Ok anyways,
he's really emotionally underdeveloped and DID like jimin before they had sex, he just couldn't admit it easily. That's why he'd kiss and tease him— I mean yeah he's 16 and a little perv but it really is just his little asshole self doing that whole "he's only mean to you because he likes you" type of thing. And yeah it was kind of dorky and dumb to assume jimin was his all bc they had sex but really it's just that overused stereotype where "you're like eternally in love with the first person you sleep with" and "if we lost it together we must be in love" i mean thats the stereotype about losing it and he really doesnt know any better. Thats also why there was no smut at /that/ point for him bc he clEARLY didn't have a clue what he was getting himself into or if hes mentally mature enough bc again, he's just a horny little teenager—- who on top of it is emotionally UNDERDEVELOPED!!

He's been basically neglected, mentally abused, and manipulated by everyone he's ever met up until getting to this house. (So like OF COURSE HE WONT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT JIMINS "LOVE" WHEN EVERYONE ELSE HES TRIED TO ACCEPT TURNED OUT TO BE FAKES- I mean look at how yugyeom and mingyus whole friend group treated him. They used him for girls and tossed him aside and when he clearly needed a friend the most, none of them gave two shits to step up.)

And you know... he was the first one to try to fix what happened between him in jimin in chapter 30. He literally told him he wanted to fix it and tried to say because he /loves/ him, but Jimin cut him off to force him to apologize for 1- punching Taehyung and 2- assuming that Jimin would be his after having sex. which is understandable, but if he would've just let Jk finished, he would have probably apologized.

Then it all continued to escalate from there...
But personally, and as the author who i'd like to think understands the characters best since their whole make up is in my head, i think Jungkook shouldn't get so much hate as he does and would like to point out that Jimin denied him and made him apologize for it and thats how their beef started

Like yeah you have your opinion and thats wonderful i love opinions i read your opinions and i try to get back to my dms whenever im messaged even (if I see them, sorry if I don't get back) but i mean dngjsjeke this post specifically is for people /repeatedly/ messaging me that jungkooks a piece of shit and yoongi should get jimin because he "loves" him but going into more detail and being a lot more blunt

And ok keep in mind that its also just a FIC so if you're pressed now too then like remember she aint real. Only reason im letting my pressed-ism getting to me is bc i just wanna take a moment to evaluate how jungkooks life is written to be and how it legitimately is something wrong with him bc theres a difference between being an ass and not knowing better. And im not trynna make him sound like a saint bc i mean he is SUPPOSED to be be a a douchebag teenager but  yaknow... jimins really not a saint either. They're both just equally toxic for each other.
