You just showed up randomly one day in Dreamland searching for a worthy opponent to battle against.

You ended up beating the crap out of most of Dreamland's residents until Kirby put you in your place.

It was still an intense fight though don't get me wrong.

Having never experienced defeat before, you took the loss rather harshly at first, but eventually you decided to stay in Dreamland, practice and get stronger to have a rematch against Kirby.

One day however, a strange wormhole opens up and from them emerge odd creatures known as The Ultra Beasts that begin wreaking havoc on Dreamland.

While Susie mainly deals with robotics she is interested in what you are and what you're capable of.

While she won't convert you into a robot, she has asked if you'd volunteer for a few experiments which she promised are not lethal.

You hesitantly accepted and hung out with her a lot.

A bond was bound to develop between the two of you.
