Lunar POV**

Continued.....

We all walked down to the fallout shelter, I was still trying to get a hold of my mom while everyone was freaking out. My mom finally picked up.

"Mom! Mom, are you ok?" I asked worriedly

"Y-yes im- ar- you ok?" She asked as the signal was breaking

"I'm fine! How is khristen?" I asked

"H- grandm- evacuated" her voice broke, I sighed in relief

"Leave, ok I love you. Don't worry about me, you have to be there for khris" I cried

"Hey, let's keep it together, people. Now, this shelter was built a long time ago to withstand just about anything. We're gonna be safe no matter what happens down at Keller. We could last in here for weeks if we had too" the coach reassured after that I drowned them out

"L-ve yo- to" it cracked making me smile

"I'll come for you ok" I sniffed as the line went dead "oh my God" I breathed out

"We're gonna get through this" Zoe sniffed hugging me

"Yeah" I sniffed

"Yo, what are you lookin' at?" Leshawn asked looking at Barret, I hate his ass he's always all up on Zoe and it's annoying, like leave the girl alone, she doesn't want you and she's happily in a relationship

"Oh nothing" Barret said weirdly still staring

"Hey, you're that kid that sold your app for a million dollars, but didn't share it with the guy you made it with" noodle said "asshole" he scoffed

"That matter was settled, and it wasn't a million dollars" Barret explained

"Oh, so it was less than a million dollars? Okay, that's cool" Leshawn nodded

"I didn't say it was less-" Barret was saying until he got cut off by violet walking up to us

"Hmm, Two alpha's in a dick fight" violet said smartly "good times" she sighed

"Mind your own business" I rolled my eyes, she looked taken aback, then the ground shook, making some people loose there balance, screams filled the room as I grabbed on to the nearest thing to me. Which so happened to be noodle

"Alright, alright!" The coach said calming some of us down

"Really serious, guys" a boy said "oh my God" a girl whined

"Yeah, I'm not staying here" the red head boy, that I almost got stuck in detention with, sighed getting up from his spot on one of the rusty beds

"Where do you think your going?" The coach asked looking at him like he was crazy

"Out. I can't be stuck in here with all of these Losers" he stated

"Ouch" I mumbled

"You can't leave here until I say you can" the coach said sternly

"Watch me" red head challenged walking towards the stairs

"What?Hey! hey! That's gonna be a extra week of detention for you!" The coach called to him

"Why is he leaving? Should we leave?" Addie, I think her name was, mumbled worriedly as she fiddled with her hands . The ground started shaking once again as I started to loose my balance but noodle caught me

"Yo, I am not trying to be trapped in here" noodle said shaking his head

"Yo, this can't be good" another guy said

"Okay, that's it I'm out" a girl said, I nodded, we all started piling out of the fallout shelter and going up the stairs

"Diesel! For future reference, you don't leave the shelter until I say you leave the shelter" the coach stated as we all walked up to diesel I guess, he was looking out the window at something

We all walked up to the window to see what he was looking at. the whole chemical plant was on fire....

"What the actual hell?" The coach mumbled

"The whole place is gone" a girl with an Elsa braid mumbled

"That doesn't make sense" Grover mumbled

"The hell happened?" I said in disbelief

Right then is when my life flashed before my eyes. There was a big ass explosion knocking me off my feet. Noodle helped me up and held me. That explosion then a follow-up one, I was to scared to notice that my CRUSH was holding me in his arms.

"Let's keep it together" the coach said in a calming voice, but it wasn't calming anybody down

"You good?" Leshawn asked Zoe

"Yo, I can't get any service" noodle said fustrated

"This is fucked" I groaned

"Nothing wants to work anymore!" A girl shouted as she threw her phone on the ground

"What ever happened must have knocked out the system" Barret said, nah dip Sherlock

"Mines ringing! I'm getting through" Elsa braid said as everybody hustled to crowd around her, it was ringing then the line went dead "it was ringing. you guys heard it. it was ringing" she complained, I shrugged and walked off to find Zoe, I found her all hugged up with Leshawn, noodle was bugging them like always

We were caught up in our own conversations about what was happening. me and Zoe were on the Verge of tears. My attention got shifted to a chubbier boy who was trying to get out the door.

"Where do you think your going?" The coach asked trying to keep him in

"Home" he stated "I gotta see if there alright" he added pushing through the doors

"Son! I don't think that's a good idea" the coach called after him

"No! No, no, no" Natalie begged people as they all started to leave

"Dumbasses" I mumbled as noodle chuckled

"You can't go out in that" Natalie said to a blonde headed girl who was about my height

"Move out of the way!" The girl pushed

"That's not a good idea" Natalie called once the girl got out

"Let's get out of here" a dumb girl called to people, some actually listened

"People, NO!" Natalie begged, I was just watching it all unfold

"Keep em high and dry, huh?" Dude, who was also almost stuck in detention with me, said man hugging red head

"You know I will" he responded

"You just gonna let em leave like that?" I asked him

"just got his truck, can't leave it out there" he shrugged

"People stop! You can not go outside" Natalie said to the stupids

"She's right. My dad works at the plant. He said when in doubt-" Elsa braid started

"Don't go out" I finished, my mom has worked at the chemical plant since my dad died, that was 10 years ago, her eyes shifted towards me and she smiled, I smiled back

"The news said it was a chemical breach. We have to stay inside, keep the windows closed, and we cannot breathe that air" Natalie explained "don't even think about it" she said to Addie who was trying to get out the doors

"I know you only boss me around because you care about me" she said lowly

"I'm bossing you around because you're about to do something stupid" Natalie retaliated

"You should take care of yourself" Addie said hugging Natalie and walking out

"Addie! Addie" Natalie yelled after her

"Not a good idea" someone said

"I don't feel safe here" another one said

"Let's go" the other voice said

People are really being dumb. It obviously isn't safe to go outside with chemical filled air. My focus shifted back to Zoe who was now trying to get out, she got me fucked up, I'm not loosing my best friend to a freak accident.

"Bro what you doing? your kidding, right?" Leshawn asked holding her back

"I have to make sure the twins are okay" she sniffed holding back her tears

"You heard what she said" he said

"Oh, since when do we listen to her" she said in a 'matter of fact' tone

"I'm not letting you" he said holding her

"Oh says you" she said trying to break out of his grip

"Zoe, your not going anywhere, I'm not letting you either. It's just NOT happening" I stated

"My brothers are probably terrified" she said letting a tear slip "you know my mom can't handle this" her voice cracked, her mom is the type of mom who can't take it when things are under pressure

"Look outside. you live right by the plant; their not ok" he said letting her go, I took this as an opportunity, I grabbed I him by his sweatshirt and pushed him against the wall

"What the fuck was that? That's not gonna help this situation dumbass. Wrong answer, try again" I gritted letting him go, I pulled Zoey into a hug and glared at him. He honestly looked shook

"He doesn't know what he's talking about" Barret butted in

"Bout to get your ass beat talking like that" noodle said looking at him like 'say some shit like that again'

I toned them out and thought about all the shit that's been going on. My mom just had a fucking baby from some unknown guy that left her. I keep getting in trouble not helping the situation and now I might not ever see her again. It's funny how life is planned.

"It's moving" is what made me snap back into reality, I looked towards the doors the see like brown smoke hurdling towards the school

"What is that?" I asked

"Everybody get away from the doors! Come on! Move! Let's go! Come on!" The coach yelled as we all started running towards the end of the hallway

"But-" Natalie studdered

"Come on!" The coach stated grabbing her hand and pulling her, we made a sharp turn

"Addie!" She yelled

"Go, go, go! Stop! Guys, okay, Diesel, I need you to go into the Tech room and try to get the news on the TV. You, go try to get online. Everybody else, spread out. Get your cell phones out. Try to get a signal. All right? Let's go. We need to make sure that all the windows and the exits are shut tight. There might be a radio in the teachers' lounge" coach said calmly

"Let's go" I said as, me, Leshawn, noodle and Zoe started going towards the teachers lounge

"Are we allowed in there?" She asked, I smacked my teeth

"You sound like Natalie lame ass" I joked, as we all walked in looking for anything that will help

"It's every where" Zoe said looking outside

"I got no bars" noodle said

"I'm not getting signal" I sighed sitting on the table

"What do we have here?" Noodle asked pulling out some wine

"Some shitty wine" I dry laughed, he looked back at me and smiled

"Come on guys, stop playing around" Leshawn said, noodle put the wine away and walked over to me as we made small conversation "here we go" Leshawn said, our attention shifted to him as he pulled out a stereo, he put it on the table

"Oh please" Zoe pleaded as she walked over to the table

"Come on" I mumbled biting my thumb nail

"Come on" Leshawn said pressing the buttons when. It did nothing I sighed, Leshawn banged the table, noodle hung his head and Zoe looked genuinely worried
