We both fucked up on this big fucking time for us. I knew the minute Punch got up and walked away and I had to go find her.

I threw my brother my truck keys and told him don't come find us either.

I meant it to and got Punch inside her truck and I got into her truck and stopped at the store and got supplies for us and a tent! I even got a new cb for her truck.

I knew I had to get us away for a while just me and her and I hated doing it but I couldn't do nothing about it but I was staying on the property hiding us.

Punch started moaning and grabbed her head in pain and I took my fingers and ran them through her hair to soothe her and it helped her.

"Uggh!" She said. "Why do we have to touch all the time and why was that song you sang to me so familiar to me?" She asked me grabbing my hand and intertwined our fingers together.

She relaxed when she did did that. "It's like charging for us and since we became one we always have to touch like this baby and I guess we both forgot even being so fucking soon after we did. God I didn't even know this is what would happen to us! I'm so fucking sorry baby it was just finding out from my sister first and the way you said it after it just pissed me off!" I told her.

"I know and I don't blame you Mason for breaking up with me!" She told me.

"Tell me what happened Punch!" I told her and instead she showed me everything that happened from the time she left me up until after she was able to get out of there to go get supplies and what she felt to.

"I'm so so sorry baby. I just wished you came back so we could of talked about it instead you stayed away." I told her.

"You broke up with Mason and I couldn't even tell my sister you did it until today hell I thought you didn't even know you did it until sunshine told me you knew you did and that's why she was coming with Rosey so much. I just lost it and left! Rosie thought I was going to do something and begged me not to. To tell you the truth I was until a memory came back that I promised you I never do it again and that was it nothing else!" I was in shock from what she just told me.

"I still don't feel so fucking good and I feel strange too! Have you noticed that since you broke up with me our connection isn't as strong anymore unless we're close like this now?" She asked me.

"Yeah I noticed!" I told her. She started twitching and I could feel her in pain.

"Why you in so much pain Punch?" I asked her. "I was caught off guard tonight when I went to the bathroom and some guy grabbed me from behind and slammed me against the fucking wall and I knee him of course and punched him. I just got into the bathroom and we'll he got pissed and I was glad no one was in there when I went flying into the back wall but it was him." She told me.

"You been gone for almost two months Punch! I sent your injections with Rosie especially when you needed your hormones and other one." I told her.

"Rosie gave them to me. It hurt like hell and I was a big baby about it too. I can't do the injections myself." She told me.

I knew she couldn't do it herself. She went limp on me. I checked her pulse and she still had one.

I knew there was something wrong with her and I haven't been able to check her or give her pain relief really since I went back and got her on the island. Believe me I tried and my hand gets pushed away.

We aren't even back together yet and I still got to go back home and get all her medications for her injections as soon as I set up camp for us.

I finally found a perfect place and I got out and set up the tent and air bed and I carried Punch inside and got her changed into her PJ shorts and a tank top.

I cupped the side of her face and she leaned into my touch.

"Baby can you wake up just for a minute please!" She only could open her eyes just a little bit for me.

"I have to go back to the cabin and get your meds and clothes for myself I'm leaving your shot gun and shells by the bed plus my gun for you. We're still on the property." She just nodded her head and was right back out again.

Great! I don't want to leave her alone but I have no fucking choice right now and I got up and left.

It took me a couple hours to get there but I made it and walked inside and I was greeted by my sister and brother.

"Where is she?" Both of them asked me at the same time and I dropped my head because I couldn't really feel her anymore. It was like she was static to me again.

To tell you the truth I fucking hated it! "She's safe right now! I had to come get me clothes and her medications. But I need to get back to her too." I was getting figty because I really didn't like this fucking static I was feeling with my mate.

"Our connection is static again! Unless we're close and it's driving me fucking nuts right now that I can't feel her again to tell you the truth!" I told them.

"So wait since you broke up with her your guys connection again is static like it was when you guys got us from the island because that's what it was like for Emmy and me until!" She stopped at that.

"Yeah, well it came back when I had to find her one night and we haven't." I explained to her.

"Oh wow so it is different between you two!" My brother said. "That's what I been trying to tell everyone and no one gets it between us at all. Now you understand! Fuck! I walked passed them and into my bedroom and packed my clothes and walked into the area in the kitchen and grabbed everything I needed for Punchs medications and put it in the special cooler and took it out to Punches truck and now I was stopped by Wade and Travis and their girlfriends and Sunshine of course.

"Daddy, momma static again for you!" Sunshine said as a statement. "Yeah has been since I broke up with her sweetie!" She ran over to me and climbed me like a damn monkey and just wrapped her body around me and I wrapped my arms around her and held her as she cried.

I laid my head against hers and just closed my eyes.

"She's static to me too daddy and I don't like it and it scares me!" She told me.

"Oh sweetheart, that's why daddy going away with momma to help her and work on us. I promise you though we're still on the property and I love you. You help take care of your brother and sister since you're the big sister for me okay!" I told her.

"I promise Daddy I will protect my little sister and little brother. I love you too daddy!" I kissed her on the cheek and put her down.

She ran over to Wade and he picked her up and held her.

"Take care of her please!" I told Wade as tears fell from my eyes for sunshine.

Wade laid his head against his sister head. "You know I will Mason she's my sister and I know you love her very much and you treated her like a daughter since you met her and she chose you as her dad and I couldn't be any more prouder than that. Travis told Tina are going to go back to the house and stay and Rebecca and I are staying here with my sister because this is where we belong with your kids and she belongs with her brother and sister." Wade told me.

"Thank you Wade!" He nodded his head and I jumped into the truck but as I was driving along I had to stop I all of sudden didn't feel so fucking good myself.
