We were on our way to town or the biggest town I should say.

Sunshine was in the back and Punch was sitting beside me and we had the radio on and both of them were singing to the songs.

It was nice actually! I had my arm around Punch and she had her fingers intertwined with mine.

"Truck first babe!" She told me. I looked down at her. "Are you planning on buying the whole fucking stores out baby?" I asked her, corking an eyebrow.

She shrugged her shoulders. "I want some new clothes so sue me babe and we'll you don't have very many yourself either!" She pointed out.

"Yeah, I noticed that myself but no shorts! You can get me tank tops though!" She nodded her head.

"No jeans either!" I told her and she looked at me confused.

"It's your fucking fault I hate jeans now! I love these things now! There comfortable baby!" She busted out laughing.

I just smiled and shook my head. "Are we getting anything for the campsite?" She nodded her head and pointed behind us.

"Good idea baby!" I leaned down and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

We found the truck wanted and it was perfect for her. Even though she had to climb into the truck and it was forest green and stick shift and a four by four.

I handed her the walkie and she now had Sunshine with her.

"Stay close to me baby I don't want to lose sight of you okay?" She nodded her head and tapped her hand over her heart.

"I love you too baby!" I shut the door and went and got into my truck and she already took and I grabbed my walkie.

"Alright smart ass! I said stay close to me not to be a smart ass!" I told her.

"But babe you bought me my very own beast! Do you even know what you got yourself into?" She asked me.

"Oh I know alright baby! You also know very well what could happen if you get somewhere without me too!" I told her.

"Fuck! I hate you right now!" I busted out laughing. "No you don't baby!" I told her. "Right now I do!" I was still laughing at her.

"You and Sunshine can have fun later when we get back does that make you feel any better baby?" It was silent for a couple of minutes.

"Maybe!" I couldn't stop laughing and we stopped at a western store first and I opened her truck door.

"Hey there stranger where have you been all my life?" I tipped my head back and busted out laughing and so did sunshine.

"Right here, why you come down and I will show you!" I told her and she stood up and bent down and pressed her lips to me and I picked her up and brought her and we didn't break the kiss until her feet hit the ground.

We pulled away and I reached up for sunshine and picked her up and set her on the ground but she had a better idea and climbed me and made me hold her and carry her inside.

I held onto Punch's hand until we got inside and Punch took sunshine into her arms and I grabbed a cart for us.

I swear to fucking God we went to everywhere my God! We finally got back and the girls went into their separate campers and I just looked at the both of them like what the fuck am I watching here.

I even was scratching the back of my head on this one. It was like I watching Punch version of a human version in this little 6 year old.

I smacked myself in the face. I am! Why not a female version of Punch in human form. Humans just like us are just different.

I never thought it was even possible though but I'm witnessing it with my own eyes.

I just started unloading both trucks and putting away the stuff and set sunshine stuff next to their camper.

Theirs was a little further away from us to give us privacy.

Our camper was kinda hidden in a group of trees. It was nice actually and Punch and her little side kick of course did a really good job of setting things up around her.

"Mason, dad's on the laptop!" Punch just told me. "Fuck! That's all we need right now!" I told her.

"We don't tell them anything about us! No way in hell I want them to know about us! Are you out of your fucking mind Mason! You know exactly what will happen if we do!" She came out and was beside me when she told me which told me she doesn't remember.

I smiled at her. "Oh this I'm definitely keeping a fucking secret baby! It will be more fun doing it behind their fucking backs! I promise you Punch!" I even sealed that promise and the both of us felt the surge and now she had a cheesy ass grin on her face and walked away.

I tipped my head back and laughed. I walked inside and was standing behind Punch leaning down so I could see dad!

"Hi dad!" I told Charlie. "Are you guys safe son?" He asked me.

"Yeah we're safe!" I tapped Punch shoulder and pointed outside and she got up and walked outside and shut the door behind her and I sat down at the table.

"How is she Mason?" Dad asked me. "Slowly getting better dad! It's going to take her time. Actually both of us time dad!" I told him.

"I'm sorry son! I understand though!" He told me. "I mean we talked about it and we're working on it but it's touchy between us! Both of us realized a lot of shit after we got far enough away from there! We can't come back dad! We have to work on us! We can't be a team and work that case together especially when I am the prime target dad and Punch can't be there either because of the curse. I'm sorry dad but we have no fucking other choice but to do this it this way and no one can come here because then it defeats the whole purpose of us trying to work out what is going with us dad no one will leave us alone to fucking talk!" I snapped.

"Sorry dad but it's true and I think it's one of the reasons that this happened too." I turned away from him.

As tears fell from my eyes. "Our connection is nothing but static since I restarted her heart on the island dad for the both of us and her normal shield is down!". I explained to him.

"Do you even still love her?" I nodded my head. "I was really fucking hurt dad! Yeah I forgave for it dad and I told her! But it's only been best friends for us since because we just can't I don't know! We both got really hurt from this dad! It's really fucked up is all!" I explained to him.

I had my mouth covered with both hands sitting on the ground hiding with my back against the camper listening to Mason.

I found out sunshine actually fell asleep. Mason was putting on the full impact act!

I finally snuck inside and his eyes moved to mine and he saw me.

He knew I was trying not to fucking laugh and I had my back against the door.

It wasn't helping Mason out any. "Your in fucking trouble baby!" I opened the door and ran out and jumped on the back of my truck and started singing that song and moving to it again.

I was actually driving my truck through the trees trying to hide myself and I found some where and secured myself.

I was terrified out of mind. I was even shaking.
