flashback .. before i'd left louisiana

a year back .. i'd been dating terrie

she and I had dated for a year and a half

i'd dated others during this time period also

even was living with wild, nympho mary

graduated high school .. the world was mine

soon after .. i'd gotten very drunk

something I rarely ever did

just so happened terrie was over

during our passionate lovemaking

it was time to pull away

surprisingly, she held me down

I became upset because I was drunk

sure enough several months later

i'd been being the bastard I was raised to be

purchased a motorcycle .. trying to keep up

I reckon news had spread

about me dating other women

for she had uncles who showed up

threatening to harm .. kill me

if I ever treated her wrong

i'd pondered .. oh perfect

things I get myself into

terrie's mom threatened me too

said if I wouldn't marry her daughter

she'd have her relative .. judge hightower

put me in prison for statutory rape

I related to her I never raped terrie

I asked terrie about her mom's intentions

she said her mom was forcing her

to testify in court that i'd raped her

if I refused to get married

God knows .. come hell or high water
