Sam Winchester- Lies (c)

"It was great working with you both," you smiled warmly, even if the work wasn't the best.

"It's nice to see you again," Dean stated.

You had met Dean a few years ago at a bar that had been haunted by a vengeful spirit. The two of you worked together to get rid of it, both of your fathers having been in that line of work, and it let to a blossoming friendship. You got along very well, but soon parted ways, meeting up a few times a year, although not working a case until now.

Once again, a vengeful spirit had haunted a bar that fell on Dean's radar, and he knew the person to call to help out. He'd told you about his brother, but he didn't interest you, from what Dean had said, he was boring and straight-laced, aspects you weren't fond of in a person. However, when working with the Winchester brothers, you realised most of what the elder had said wasn't true. Yes, Sam was far more bookish and studious than his brother, but he was far from boring; he made you laugh and kept a smile on your face.

"And it was good meeting you," Sam added.

You nodded your head. "I turned out liking you a lot more than I originally planned."

Sam cocked an eyebrow at you, clearly not knowing what you meant by your comment.

"Dean said you were a wet blanket, honestly everything he said painted you as an unpleasant person who had a stick shoved so far up your arse that you never left the library other than for a case. He was very wrong," you smiled.

The younger Winchester brother shot his older brother a glare. Dean however kept a smirk on his lips, knowing full well he'd painted you a biased picture of his brother. You didn't know why he'd do such a thing, but it certainly didn't surprise you. Sam continued to stare at his brother, a look of annoyance on his face, leading to Dean shrugging.

"What? It's all half-truths," he shrugged. "Y/N is a beautiful woman, I wasn't going to make it easy for you Sammy, I knew she was your type, and it'd have been too easy for you if I sung your praises."

Sam let out a sigh, his cheeks becoming slightly red. You couldn't help but smile as you had become rather fond of Sam, and if he liked you too, that was just a win win situation.
