"She's with us."

Under any other circumstances, Birdie would be on cloud nine getting allowed to go backstage at a BTS concert, let alone being personally escorted back by two members of the band. However, this wasn't a normal circumstance. Jungkook and an irritated Taehyung walked ahead of her down the hallway. Taehyung was so upset that Birdie thought he was going to reach out and slap Jungkook in the arm several times on the way to their destination.

"Why on Earth were you going through my texts?" Taehyung asked.

"I was curious about what was going on and you obviously weren't going to tell me," Jungkook said, casting a wary glance behind him at the cardboard cutout of Jimin that Birdie was still carrying behind them.

Obviously Jimin was refraining from speaking since they were making their way down the hallway to the dressing room where they had left Jimin's body sleeping. As they entered the room, Jimin's body was in the same position as before. Taehyung shut the dressing room door behind them, wedging a chair under the door handle so no one could enter and they'd have a moment to themselves.

"Okay...so how do we switch them back?" Jungkook asked.

"The woman at the antique shop said for whatever happened to reverse itself, the desires of their heart had to be fulfilled," Taehyung said.

Jungkook and Taehyung both turned to look at Birdie standing by the cardboard cutout of Jimin.

"So, what did you both wish for?" Taehyung continued.

For what felt like the bazillionth time that day, Birdie fought a blush away as she said, "I put the necklace on my cardboard cutout of Jimin and wished to be happy again."

"And I wished that I could just spend a little bit of time doing something besides stressing before the performance."

"Well, Jimin, I think you got your wish granted in the most unconventional way possible," Jungkook said with a laugh as Jimin shot him a look.

"If he did, then why hasn't he switched back?" Taehyung asked.

"Maybe it's because he was stressed by the kidnapping?" Jungkook suggested with a shrug, "or maybe it's because she isn't happy yet."

Of course, it was all her fault that her idol was stuck like this. Birdie was a mixture of emotions, and as she internally tried to work her way through them all, she realized that none of them were true happiness. Contentness maybe, but even her happiness at meeting BTS was overshadowed by what was going on.

'But how is Jimin going to switch back if this is how I feel? I'm sure that's how I'll continue to feel,' Birdie thought. 'Will it be all my fault if he's stuck like this forever?'
