"Only a few more hours until I see you in the flesh, my future hubby," Sasayne said as she walked over to the cardboard cutout of Jimin she had recently acquired, gently running a finger along his collarbone. "Just you wait. You're gonna be so smitten by me, we'll be running to a chapel straight after the performance."
'Oh we'll be running somewhere,' Jimin thought, 'but it won't be to a chapel. It'll be straight to the police.'
Jimin was trying to keep his composure despite the situation. If he didn't, he would run the risk of exposing to this looney that he was technically right in front of her now because she had unknowingly kidnapped him.
'Come on Birdie...Tae...where are you guys?'

"So let me get this straight, Jimin has somehow gotten his spirit placed into a cardboard cutout of himself that has then gotten stolen by his die hard fan, Sashimi..."
"Sasayne," Birdie interrupted, "Sasayne Delulah."
"This sounds ridiculous, you know," Jungkook said, "but maybe that explains why Tae was acting so weird and why Jimin has been so out of it...oh what am I saying?"
"Can you just please help me get him back from Sasayne?" Birdie asked, nodding her head towards the apartment building.
"Alright...fine. What's the plan?" Jungkook asked. "Do I muscle my way into the apartment?"
"No...we need to draw Sasayne out somehow..." Birdie said, looking at Jungkook, "and I think I have an idea."

Sasayne dug out what felt like the hundredth outfit from her abyss of a wardrobe, holding it up in front of cardboard Jimin.
"What about this one? Doesn't it scream sultry and seductive? Would this catch your eye?"
'No,' thought Jimin, feeling like he was stuck in some sort of eternal purgatory.
It was then that the sound of a scream could be heard. Curious as to what the commotion was about, Sasayne went over to her bedroom window and drew back the curtain. She had a perfect view of the street from her room, noticing a woman screaming and pointing at a man leaning against a nearby pole.
"Oh my word! It's Jungkook!!!!"
"Jungkook?" Sasayne said, grabbing a pair of binoculars off her desk and holding them to her eyes. "There's no way that's..."
Her words were cut short as the binoculars focused in on the fact that yes, this indeed was Jungkook from BTS. Though Sasayne's heart belonged fully to Jimin and to Jimin alone, the sight of a BTS member outside her house was still cause to make her fill with automatic excitement.
"He can lead me to Jimin," Sasayne said as she threw the binoculars at her bed.
Running out of the bedroom, Jimin listened as she opened the apartment door and ran down the stairs to get outside.

Jungkook was braced for anything. With the way Birdie was going on and yelling, he half suspected that others in the area would come after him before Sasayne was even aware of the commotion going on outside. He found out seconds later that he shouldn't have been worried about this though.
Standing on the outside steps to the apartment building looking almost feral was a woman that locked her gaze right on him. Her blond hair was in a messy fringe like it was straight out of the eighties, but lent to her ferocious look. This had to be Sasayne. There was no doubt about it.
Before Jungkook had time to dwell on that thought for much longer, he turned to start running down the street as Sasayne chased after him. Birdie took action since Sasayne was distracted by Jungkook, slipping into the apartment stairwell before the door closed behind her and then looking at the buzzer directory to try to figure out which apartment was hers. Stumbling across the name, Birdie took the steps two at a time, letting out a relief when she saw the apartment door had been left open a crack.
Quickly making her way through the apartment, Birdie was able to locate Jimin in a bedroom. She let out a sigh of relief, especially when he exclaimed, "Oh you found me."
"Of course I did," she said as she walked over to him, gently picking him up. "I'm getting you out of here. I'd say hold on, but..."
"Seriously?"
"Too soon?" she asked, earning a chuckle as she tucked him against her side. "I'm sorry for the awkward position."
"It's okay," Jimin said, "You're getting me out of here. You are saving me..."
"Well, it's my fault you got stolen in the first place."
"It wasn't your fault. You've been trying to help me all day. I appreciate it."
Birdie smiled softly, making her way out of Sasayne's apartment with him. She walked with Jimin to her car, gently putting him in the passenger's seat like earlier. Afterwards, she turned the car on and started driving off down the street.
"That distraction earlier," Jimin piped up. "When you were yelling about Jungkook..."
"It was actually him," Birdie said. "He intercepted Tae's text."
"Of course he did," Jimin said with a sigh. "Where is he now?"
"Hopefully a few blocks from here and safely away from Sasayne," Birdie said. "He's fit so surely..."
Driving a street or two over, Birdie was shocked to see that Jungkook was still running from Sasayne and she was able to keep caught up with him. Jungkook looked absolutely terrified every time he took a look behind him.
"We have to save him too!" Birdie exclaimed, squealing her tires a bit as she nearly slammed her vehicle against the curb. "JUNGKOOK!"
Hearing his name, he turned when he saw Birdie there with the window rolled down. Quickly turning, he raced for the back door to her vehicle, yanking open the door and sliding in before Birdie took off racing down the street. Sasayne wasn't fast enough to catch Jungkook before he got in the car, but was quick enough to notice that — whoever the driver was — had the Jimin cutout in their possession.
