"Oi, (Y/n) wanna take on a mission?" Natsu asked (Y/n) when she was standing next to the quest board, looking for a well paying job.

"Hmm, sure. Is anyone else going?" (Y/n) tilted her head questioning the pink haired boy.

"Uh, no. I just wanted to go on a job with you.." He scratched the back of his head.

"Okay! Which quest are we doing?" Natsu handed (Y/n) the job page. 

It read,

Picnic Quest!

Area: Plains

Job Offer: **Will Discuss 'bout it**

The page it's self looked like it was torn out of a child's book, and the handwriting was sloppy, but none the less, you had already agreed to do the job with Natsu.

"Iet's go get packed for the job, wanna meet at the station?" She asked Natsu.

"Actually, we're going to walk. It's not that far." (Y/n) nodded her head and left the guild hall to go to her own home.

_-Time Skip-_

"Hey Natsu!" (Y/n) waved towards Natsu's direction. It sent his heart into a thumping fit. 'Oh god, she's dressed so cute..' Natsu thought to himself as his cheeks flared. (Y/n) noticed how hot he was becoming, his own body heat radiating, but (Y/n) thought it was normal since he was a fire dragon slayer.

"Ready?" Natsu asked with a bright smile.

"Mmm." (Y/n) hummed in response. 

And so, Natsu's and (Y/n)'s adventure towards the job area started. It was fairly easy for them to reach the area.

"Why don't we stop here?" Natsu asked her, but he was already in the middle of setting things up.

"Okay.." She was a bit confused, they were in the middle of a grassy area, had they made it already? (Y/n) looked down at Natsu, he had unpacked a cloth blanket and some food "Oi, Natsu..? Is this really a quest..?" (Y/n) asked Natsu.

Natsu squirmed in his seat, then he took a deep breath. "I-I wanted to take you out on a picnic, but I didn't know how to ask you.." His words trailed off as he looked down. (Y/n) couldn't help but squeal inside, she liked Natsu for awhile now, but (Y/n) thought it would be weird if he didn't feel the same.

"Aww, Natsu! That's so sweet!" (Y/n) sat down next to Natsu and laid her head down on Natsu's shoulder. The pink haired boy blushed a deep red. The sun was still out and it was the beginning of spring, all the flowers swayed as the wind gently blew across the field. "This is so relaxing..." (Y/n) breathed in the air. Then she heard a loud grumble. She opened her eyes and looked at Natsu, Natsu's stomach as aching for food and he turn a even deeper shade of red from the embarrassment.

"Well, I guess I'm hungry, what 'bout you (Y/n)?" Natsu asked (Y/n) with a cheeky smile.

"I'm a little hungry..."

"Great! Let's eat!!!" Natsu exclaimed.

_-Time Skip-_

"That was good..." Natsu falls onto his back and closes his eyes.

"Yeah, it was.." (Y/n) agreed.

They both lie on their backs looking up at the clear sky.

...

"(Y/n)..?" Natsu asked.

"Hmm?" (Y/n) turned her head to look towards him.

"I love you.." (Y/n) blushed as Natsu said the words she's been dying to hear all her life.

"Natsu..." She smiled happily.

"What 'bout you? Do you love me?" Natsu asked worriedly.

"Yea, I love you too, Natsu~" (Y/n) stated and Natsu jumped up and pulled (Y/n) to her feet so they could embrace. (Y/n) was trapped in one of Natsu's death hug. "Natsu..." The pink haired boy had buried his face into the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent.

"You smell really good." Natsu's voice was muffled, but she could still hear him. (Y/n) blushed as they stood awkwardly holding each other in their arms.
