Y/N Pov

"Bet? What are you guys talking about?" A deep voice cut off Lisa's words. I turned around and froze to see Taehyung standing there, waiting for an answer.

He knows nothing of this bet and he shouldn't ever find out!

"T-tae, no nothing!" I answered hurriedly, sharing a glance at Lisa who chuckled awkwardly.

He raised his eyebrows in suspicion and stared at me for a few seconds before shaking his head. "Others are waiting, come on." He took the bowl of popcorn and went back. 

"Yah! That was close." Lisa whisper yelled, grabbing half the snacks. I heaved a sigh in relief, nodding. "Let's go." I said, grabbing the rest and hurrying back to the living room.

After the movie, the boys and Lisa decided to leave as it was getting late. "Jungkook should join us more often!" Jin said and the others smiled, nodding. "Yeah, we share the same brain cells too!" Jimin laughed causing Jungkook to chuckle.

"Night, guys!"

"See you guys, bye." Tae waved as they got into Jin's jeep. "Get back safe." I said as they waved back before driving off.

Closing the door, I smiled at Taehyung who has already started cleaning the messy living room while I walked in to the kitchen to wash the dishes.

A few minutes later, I felt Tae's strong arms wrap around my waist and a kiss being placed on my cheek before he nuzzled his face on my neck, which brought a smile on my face.

"Tae? Have you finished cleaning already?" I asked softly while washing the last few plates. He hummed in return, tightening his grip. "Any help needed?"

"Ani, I'm almost done too." I said. "Then we can go soon!" He said, excitement laced in his tone.

I turned my head in confusion to see him already looking at me, before I could ask what that meant, he suddenly pecked my lips twice causing my eyes to widen and my heart to beat faster at the sudden action.

You need to get used to this Y/n..

Smirking at my flustered reaction, he said, "Let's go to our special hideout." I raised my eyebrows, "At this time?-" I looked at the clock past his head,
"-yah, it's half past ten!"

He just shrugged his shoulders, "So what? Let's go!" He moved back and pulled my hand right after I finished the dishes and removed the washing gloves.

"Coming, coming!" I laughed seeing him being impatient as he led me towards the front door. That's when I remembered something and abruptly stopped. "Give me a minute. I'll be right back!" I said as I sprinted to my room to get the little gift I got for him.

This will be the best time to give this! I smiled as I slipped the little pouch bag into my jean jacket before hurrying out.

The walk towards our destination was quiet and peaceful, just us enjoying the night breeze that swayed the trees on either sides of the path.

As we got there, I walked towards the cliff to see the brightly lit city below before looking ahead to admire the stars, feeling relaxed and content.

Feeling Tae's presence beside me, I turned my head to smile at him before looking back up to the countless stars scattered on the dark sky.

The short peaceful silence was broken by Taehyung's sudden question which caught me off guard.

"Did you call off the bet already?" I looked at him with eyes widened.

What?..

"Huh?" was all I could utter as I suddenly felt my throat go dry. "The bet with Lisa." He explained, raising an eyebrow.

He knew? How?

As if he read what was running in my mind, he said, "I've known this for a long time." He smirked and I gasped.

What!

"I think it's best if you end it by treating Lisa for something big soon." He said and I felt my heart drop.
What did that mean? Usually we treat ourselves when he-- I tried to study his expression to see whether he was joking or being serious but all I got was a blank face, making it hard to fathom.

My breath started quickening and I suddenly felt anxious. "Wh-what d-do--" I stuttered and he cut me off.

"Cause I won't be leaving you anytime soon- no scratch that- ever." He grinned showing his boxy smile and that's when I felt I could breath again. I closed my eyes for a second before opening them back.

"Yah! For a moment you scared me!" I yelled, hitting his chest as he giggled and pulled me closer to hug me tight before turning me - still in his arms- to face the front and now hugging me from the back.

"Loved your reaction!" He laughed and I rolled my eyes, "Why did you act as if you didn't know then?"

"Didn't want to ruin the fun. You guys enjoyed it so much, didn't you?" He chuckled, tilting his head sideways to look at me and I slowly nodded, smiling, "Very." And we laughed.

"Close your eyes." He said as he broke the hug which made me look at him in confusion. "Just close your eyes!" He repeated with a whine. I shook my head and did with a smile.

A few seconds later, I felt his hot breath on my nape before something thin and cold came in contact around my neck.

"Open them now." I shivered as he whispered in my ear. Opening my eyes, I saw a dainty silver angel wing necklace adorning my neck.

I gasped in surprise and smiled widely as I looked at the elegant thin necklace.

"Tae, it's beautiful!" I exclaimed, admiring it. He mirrored my smile, "This angel wing carries a special meaning." He said and I looked at him with curiosity.

"You know.. angels symbolize happiness, protection and affection. So through this little gift, I promise to protect you at all times and  look out for your best interests." He smiled and I felt myself tear at his explanation. He is so thoughtful.

I'm indeed lucky to have this man.

"Tae!" I choked a sob as I couldn't help myself. "Your words mean a lot to me. Thank you so much." I said, hugging him tight before kissing him on the lips while standing on my tiptoes. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you more." He said, softly.

"I have something for you too!" I smiled and he raised his eyebrows in surprise, "For me?" I nodded and lead him to sit at the bark of the tree before kneeling in front of him and  taking the little pouch out.

"Now I want you to close your eyes!" I looked at him before taking the little bracelet out. Holding his hand I secured it around his wrist.

Hope he likes it!

His eyes widened in surprise when he opened them. "Waah!" He chuckled looking at his wrist, admiring the details of the bracelet.

It was a black triple strap leather bracelet which had a braided strand in the middle with the famous painting of Van Gogh's Starry Night mounted upon a circular piece of silver.

He has always been fond of the artist's paintings.

"Do you like it?" I asked as I saw him not taking his eyes off it. "I love it Y/n!" He exclaimed, his boxy smile on full display. "Thought of you when I saw this." I smiled as I sat next to him.

"This is so precious." He smiled softly, placing his hand on my cheek and suddenly pulling me in for a kiss. "Thanks love." He whispered. "No, thank you." I smiled, holding the pendant with the tip of my fingers.

Author Pov

Both of their faces shined bright with their happy smiles as they stared at each other with nothing but love and adoration in their eyes.

A sudden epiphany struck them that they were indeed meant to be together- from best friends to now lovers and maybe something more after.

They felt complete. And they promised in their hearts that they would love and cherish each other till the end of time.

"I love you.."

"I love you.."

They confessed at the same time making them chuckle.

"I love you more.."

"I love you more.."

They laughed and shook their heads as they replied in unison again.

Both shared a deep kiss full of love before giggling and laying down on the grass to continue gazing at the happy stars above with intertwined hands.

"You know.. you represent the brightest in my galaxy.."

"Actually, you represent the brightest in my galaxy.."

"Yah! Stop copying me!" Y/n laughed when they uttered the same words again.
