Present day - August 4th, nighttime

Chris dragged himself to a roadside stationed ramen shop.

" Uncle! Two bowls, please!" He said to the server as he turned to his seemingly cunning friend. " What about your plan?"

Nakarugi raised his head a little from his phone with a confused look on his face." Huh?"

Chris raised his eyebrows as the fact of why they were there hit Nakarugi suddenly. " Crap! That's why you were asking?"

He totally forgot......

Mr.Forgetful.

" Dude, I'm gonna kill you first before myself if you piss me off once more" He grunted. Nakarugi put his hands up in protest and apologised as the bowl came up the counter.

" Thank you very much" He said and paid him before turning again to his friend. He was busy slurping the first few rounds, blowing them and pulling them inside like a vacuum.

He loved ramen. It held a lot of memories.

After a few minutes, he let out a satisfied burp and started on his plan. " You want to jump off the same floor sh-" He paused and let out a sigh and continued." IT happened, right?"

Chris simply nodded, not raising a sound to the ruckus happening around them.

" So, on the rarest of the rarest of the rarity of rare chances you actually meet Har-" He paused again. He let himself get sobered up even though he didn't drink that day.

" HER, you need to make yourself presentable. And I just noticed, it's your birthday in two more days, right? So you can get drunk with us and give like a welcoming bouquet to HER resting place and we'll give a toast to her and you jump off." He clasped his hands and winked at him.

He wondered how he came up with that on the spot.

He wasted hours finding something.

He wished he got some sleep instead.

" BOOM! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, COMMANDER!" He waved the air as if shooing away the imaginary applauses that are surrounding him.

Chris simply sighed and leaned back on the wall, nearly breaking the stool he was sitting on. This crazy plan seemed plausible. And so he decided to go to hell with it.

Literally......

" You said to make myself presentable, right?" That got Nakarugi's attention as he put a grin on his face.

A look that meant "I GOT JUST THE THING"

That night, both of them walked over to Nakarugi's house with a full stomach.

He knocked on the door and after a moment of feeling idiotic, he foraged his pockets for the key.

They walked inside and he made Chris sit on the mess of his house as he dug through the sorry excuse of a closet until he found a tux, good as new.

" Voila"

He had bought it for his and Suzuha's engagement but he found that Chris's so called Rebirth was on a higher place of priority this time.

He threw it at Chris who looked at it with a look of amusement.

" I thought you hated wearing a suit. Then why is this in there?" He held it up, sizing it up and confirming it will fit him when he informed him. " It's for my engagement" He said, as if it was obvious.

Chris was a ready to puke so many times till then he forgot to keep count.

" YOU'RE 19!"

" That's why I bought a bigger size. I'm clever, you see? Its called 'Preparing In Advance' or PIA for short!" Nakarugi clicked his tongue while making one of the poses that the little girls from anime make when they are caught in a mischief.

Totally fits him...

He winked and put one hand, pointing to his head and the other on his hips.

" I even have plans for the ring I'm gonna give her!"

And that only got him a knuckle on his head from Chris who simply said, " Not funny"

Nakarugi heard his heart break into pieces.

The sound was a whirl of shattering and clanking in his heart.

" DUDEEE!!!! Love is ageless! Don't BE AGE-IST!!"
