Hyuck, Levi, and I easily jumped through the window hole and into the third floor.

In my opinion, the layout was pretty decent, and the aesthetic was nice.

"W e l c o m e"

Jeno greeted us, walking down the set of stairs to the left of us.

His choice of clothes really added to his intimidating presence.

The hairpin, earring, and necklace were visible, he had a powerful aura around him, and for whatever reason, his shirt was ripped open.

Despite how powerful he was right now, he looked tired.

"H-Hyung, I don't wanna fight him. Isn't there another way we can save him...?"

Hyuck backed away a bit.

"There's no other way Hyuckie, we have to do this"

"C-Can't we just fuse or something to save him faster?!"

"That's not a wise decision Donghyuck. With Jeno's immense power, he'll just take both of you out quicker. It's better to fight him separately than to risk it"

"Levi is right Hyuckie. We need to play it safe. I mean, as safe as we can play this..."

Hyuck didn't like the idea of us being separated one bit, but we don't have a choice but to stay apart.

It's our best chance of getting Jeno back.

Jeno suddenly summoned his Buster Sword, and came for Hyuck first, probably on purpose.

I summoned my new Ice Sword I made, and Hyuck quickly summoned his Hell Sword.

The three of our blades clashed together, and thankfully, our power together was just about equal to his.

"Hyung, I d-don't wanna fight you..."

"T h e n d o n 't. J u s t g i v e u p
a n d d i e b y m y h a n d"

"Jeno, we're not leaving here until we save you!"

I sternly started.

"T h e n d i e t r y i n g"

He harshly swung his sword, and knocked both of us back, almost sending us back out the window hole.

He fired a beam at us right after, but luckily, we both dodged it.

Hyuck was safe on in the room, but when I dodged I fell out the window hole.

I landed on the fixture below me, above the window holes that led into the second floor.

"Hyuckie! I'll be back up in a minute! You two hang on until I get back in!"

"O-Ok!"

He responded.

I froze multiple spots on the wall, and slowly but surely made my way back up. One of the fixtures I made shattered when I stepped on it, but I quickly made another one before I could fall all the way back down.

Soon enough I made it back up, to see Hyuck holding his own against Jeno, while Levi was trying to use different jutsus on him as a distraction.

But Jeno predicted the spot Levi was going to next, and used a jutsu on him. He made a pillar rise up from the ground, and Levi bumped into it really hard.

Hyuck was caught off guard and Jeno took that opportunity to strike him in multiple pressure points, paralyzing him.

Hyuck couldn't move as Jeno raised his sword to attack him. I used my ice to quickly slide to them, and shoved Jeno back.

Unfortunately, his blade still reached Hyuck, and cut him very deep on his abdomen.

Jeno then tried to attack me, but I dodged and quickly froze him up against a pillar. Levi recovered and went to face Jeno while I went to see about Hyuck.

"Hyuckie, are you ok?! Aish... That was a stupid question... But wait, why aren't you regenerating?!"

I questioned, gently holding him in my arms.

"I c-can't move or feel anything h-hyung. I can't use my p-power..."

I know he couldn't feel it, but he was shaking a lot.

I looked over to see how Levi was doing, but it went bad. Jeno had weakened him by hitting some of his pressure points too, and easily flung him away into the wall.

I can't even help either of them because I don't know how to reverse the effects of pressure points he hit...

But..., fusing with Hyuck might help!

"Hyuckie, fuse with me! It might get rid of your paralysis! It might not be best to take Jeno down in that form too, but we might have to since we're one man down!"

It's true that we're one man down now.

After Levi hit the wall, he was knocked unconscious. But despite my convincing, Hyuck frantically shook his head, refusing to fuse with me for the first time...

"I c-can't hyung, I just can't! We can't beat him! Even if we did fuse, m-my injury would still be present! I-I can't d-do this! I w-wanna g-go home...!"

Hyuck began sobbing and trembled even more.

I've never seen him so scared. It's not like him to act like this at all.

This is all my fault... If I hadn't left Hyuck and Levi alone for so long, this wouldn't have happened to them...

...

No...

I can't blame myself for this. I did my best to get back to them. I need to focus on the task at hand.

I can't let this be their end.

I can't fail them again.

I won't fail them again.

I won't fail him again.

Mark's aura changed when he picked me up.

He calmly carried me and walked over to where Levi was, but his power was increasing with every step he took.

We safely made it to Levi, and Mark picked him up and laid him across his shoulder. He looked around until he found a safe spot of us to stay.

He walked towards the spot, but Jeno tried to attack us.

I expected him to land his attack, but a wall of ice suddenly rose from the ground, blocking the attack.

A snowy aura suddenly appeared around Mark, and his eyes turned blue. Strand by strand, his hair slowly changed color too.

By the time we got to the safe area, his hair had completely turned into a greyish white. We safely made it to the safe spot, and he gently rested us against the wall inside of it.

I was able to see his entire body now, as he looked around to find Jeno.

"Hyung... Y-Your power..."

"..."

He just smiled and kissed my forehead.

I was actually able to feel his familiar soothing chill flow through me. It was so soothing...~.

He pet my head and finally got up. He backed away from us, and made a clear wall of ice rise up to keep us inside.

"H-Hyung?"

"You'll both be safe in there. I can't risk you two getting killed in this fight. I'll take care of Jeno myself"

"...Please be careful hyung"

"Of course"

He smiled again, but Jeno had jumped up behind him to attack him from behind.

"HYUNG!"

Mark's smile disappeared, and he quickly turned around and flung multiple ice shards at Jeno.

He used his sword to block the shards, but one didn't miss.

It hit his hairpin directly and shattered it.

His power started decreasing after it was shattered, angering him. He and Mark commenced their duel, but Jeno wasn't fighting as good as he was before.

Mark was moving much faster than him now. Eventually, Mark hit one of his pressure points and made him fall over.

He grabbed Jeno by his ear, and froze his earring until it shattered. Jeno was getting even weaker now.

He still tried to fight against Mark, but he was being overpowered every time. The last time he tried to attack him, Mark grabbed him by his nape and threw him into the wall.

Jeno suddenly looked really scared when he got up. He tried running away, but Mark blocked off all of the exits with walls of ice.

Jeno backed away the closer Mark got, shaking as if Mark was gonna kill him.

"H-H y u n g . . ."

Mark abruptly stopped when Jeno called him hyung.

"I d-d o n 't w a n n a f i g h t
a n y m o r e . . ."

He kept backing away from Mark.

"Jeno. Please snap out of it. We're only trying to help you"

"I-I 'm t r y i n g . . . I t 's h a r d
h y u n g . . ."

He tried to snap himself out of Xander's control, but he was having a hard time.

Mark slowly walked to him to try and help him, but jumped back after an energy blast hit the ground.

When the smoke cleared, we saw Xander standing in front of Jeno, arousing fear in me and anger in Mark.

"Get away from him"

Mark growled.

"You'd like that wouldn't you?"

Xander scoffed.

He turned to face Jeno, and roughly grabbed him by his hair, lifting him up. His protests and cries filled the room.

"You're hopeless"

He then transferred more of his mind control power into him, soon bringing Jeno's protesting to a halt.

He dropped him and ordered him to attack Mark. Jeno slowly got up, and inched his way over to him.

"Jeno, don't"

Mark frowned.

Surprisingly, Jeno stopped in his tracks, holding his head.

He was still trying to fight against Xander!

He turned around to face the taller man.

"I . . . . I w-w o n 't a t t a c k m y
b-b r o t h e r s a n y m o r e . . ."

There was an agonizing silence that followed after, but then Xander chuckled.

"Have it your way then"

He snapped his fingers, and Jeno started screaming as the remaining necklace started to glow.

Jeno immediately tried to yank the necklace off in anyway he could, but not only was he too weak, the necklace was now too strong for him to break with his bare hands.

He looked like he was in an excruciating amount of pain. He soon started crying and fell to his knees.

"R-R U N A W A Y !!!"

He yelled at Mark.

But I think Mark was either too intriguing, too stubborn, or too confused to heed his warning.

Either way, things started going south.

His body started growing in size, and changing drastically. He started getting bigger, taller, and more muscular.

He was 5"10 before, but now he looks over 6"!

It's almost as if Xander was making him change his body to match that of the legendary super saiyan Broly!

He started losing all sense of reason and began attacking Mark again. His movements were even faster than before,
despite his size. But Mark was still able to keep up with him.

He was able to immobilize Jeno, but he used way too much ice to do it, and now not only does he look exhausted, but he's also shaking.

And even though he managed to destroy the necklace, he fell to his knees right after.

We both thought he would start changing back to normal, but he wasn't. His body just kept getting bigger, while he got even stronger!

His eyes eventually turned completely white, and his hair started growing longer! But despite how much he was growing, his clothes weren't ripping?

It's as if this entire thing was planned out to the point where even his clothes were made for this moment to stretch like they were.

"Xander! What have you done to him?!"

Mark exclaimed.

"That is none of your concern. He won't last too long anyway. I'll leave you four to enjoy your last moments together"

Xander snapped his fingers and disappeared.

Jeno angrily yelled out, and the first step he took towards Mark was powerful enough to make the ground shake.

"Mark-hyung! Get out of there!"

I yelled, but he wasn't moving.

"M-My body........won't m-move"

He stuttered as Jeno got closer.

His body had reached its limit...

I tried forcing my body out of its paralysis, but it was no use. And Levi still won't wake up. Neither of us can help him...

"MARK-HYUNG!"

We both a familiar voice and the sound of shattering ice.

Jeno was about to land a lethal blow on Mark, but something got him out of the way in time, landing Jeno's fist into the ground.

When the smoke cleared, Mark was safe in Renjun's arms! And Kun, Jaehyun, and Doyoung were here with him!

But..., will they be able to beat Jeno?

"Injun?!"

"You alright hyung?"

I calmly questioned Mark.

He seemed very surprised to see me.

"I'm fine..., but I can't fight anymore..."

"You did your best hyung. We'll take it from here. I'll be back soon"

I gently sat Mark down in a safer spot, and went to go join my other hyungs.

"Got anymore info on what Xander did to him hyung?"

I asked Doyoung, and he nodded.

"Johnny-hyung was right about him using his Monster power on Jeno. It's having a negative effect on his body. Unless we expell that power out of him, his body will continue to grow, and grow, and grow, until his body gives out on him. In other words, we have to stop this soon, or all of that power will kill him"

"How tall has he gotten?"

Kun asked.

"He's 8"1 now..."

Doyoung informed.

"I'll have to take him on. My power lets me get to a height of 10". I'm the only one that can match up to him in close quarters combat"

"Right. We'll try and figure out how to tire him out more from long distance then"

Jaehyun concluded.

"Also, protect Renjun as well as the others. He's just as tired as they are, and he's almost out of energy too. Any blow landed on him that's too much for him to handle could be lethal"

Kun ordered, shapeshifting into a celestial bear.

Jeno's movements seemed to be slowing down with every passing second, but he still landed some powerful blows on Kun.

Not only that, his body keeps getting bigger.

"What can we do...?"

I mumbled, thinking of each of our power sets.

"If I use my Homing on him, that might only piss him off more. My Erasure probably won't have any effect on him either. But I could use my Overhaul to trap him in the ground by his legs"

Doyoung explained.

"It's too dangerous for me to use my Copy on Jeno. And my Solid Air won't last long against that much power. I'll have to think of something else..."

Jaehyun concluded.

"I can't do much, but I can use my plants~"

I rose up huge vines from the ground that joined together, and they wrapped around Jeno's torso.

Doyoung used his Overhaul to break apart most of the ground, and reformed them into giant spikes that shot out of the ground, impaling Jeno in his legs.

"I'm gonna go make sure Donghyuck and Levi are ok!"

Doyoung informed.

"Jeno! It's Renjun! Just calm down! We're trying to help you! Everything's gonna be alright!"

I yelled, getting a little bit closer, despite Jaehyun trying to stop me.

He looked at me, but still continued to fight Kun. His eyes looked tired, and under all of the malice that took over him, I could feel that he was scared.

"Please listen to me Jeno! You can fight against Xander's power! We know you can do it!"

His expression softened at my words and he stopped fighting.

"I refuse to fight you Jeno. I know you're still in there. I refuse to hurt you!"

"Renjun, get back!"

Kun ordered, but I refused.

I have to at least try to regain his trust.

But it didn't work.

He suddenly regained his strength and speed, and lifted Kun out of his way while landing a hard blow on me.

He hit me so hard, that the pillar he knocked me into broke apart, making all of the pieces of it fall on top of me.

I heard the others yell out to me out of worry, but I successfully punched most of the pieces out of my way so that I could get out.

I got up to try and face him again, but now I understand what Mark meant earlier.

I can barely move my body to walk now.

With Kun knocked back pretty far, Jeno easily destroyed the spikes that held him down, and ripped the plants off of him.

He made his way towards me, but before he could attack me, something happened.

Jaehyun ran towards me and he went under an unexpected transformation.

He was emitting an amazing amount of power, his hair, tail, ears, and eyes turned pink, and a pink aura surrounded him. And he created a halo-shaped energy ring whilst he ran.

He stopped in front of me, and shot the ring at Jeno, hitting him head on.

The ring spread all around Jeno's body, and stopped him in his tracks, as if it paralyzed him!

"I'm not gonna let you hurt anyone else in our family Jeno"

Jaehyun stated with and angered tone.

Jeno seemed to ignore his words and only focused on trying to break free of Jaehyun's power.

Then it dawned upon me that there's nothing more that we can do against him. He'll just overpower us, and eventually he'll die because of his power.

He eventually broke free of Jaehyun's power and tried attacking us, but he couldn't.

Every time he tried moving his body, he pulled back, as if he was in a lot of pain. His body grew even more, and tears actually left his eyes from how much pain he was in.

Kun regained himself and suddenly locked Jeno in a bear hug. Although, it didn't look like he was hugging him too tightly, in order to cause him less pain.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning shot one of the frozen window holes and shattered the ice, capturing everyone's attention.

Jay soon appeared jumping into the room, and we already knew what was about to happen.

"Jenoooo~~~! You've been a really bad boy~~! You need to settle down, you big buff Cheeto Puff~~~~!"

"Dear lord..."

Doyoung cringed.

Jeno suddenly yelled out in pain as Xander's power flowed out of him.

Jay thought of a really good tactic. She only removed half of Xander's power in him, turned it into light, and made him eat it in order to cancel out the other half.

Kun let go off him, and Jeno's eyes rolled back into his head as he passed out. The force of him collapsing made the ground shake once more.

We all waited for his body to return to normal, but nothing was happening.

"Why isn't he returning back to his normal size hyung...?!"

I questioned Doyoung with panic.

"I-I don't know... he's at least 9"0 now... B-But I think we know someone who might know how to fix him! Let's hurry and get back to the ship!"

Doyoung exclaimed.

Jaehyun picked me up, Doyoung retrieved Mark, Kun destroyed Mark's ice so that Jay could retrieve Hyuck and Levi, and Kun picked up Jeno since he's still so big and too heavy for any of us to carry him.

I healed myself up little by little while Jaehyun carried me, just so I won't be completely useless when we get back to the ship.

I hope that Jeno's gonna be alright though...
