3 Days Later

I woke up feeling very drowsy and dizzy.

It took a while for my eyes to adjust to my surroundings, but when they finally did, I was alarmed at my location.

I was in a holding cell!

It was then that I realized that my hands were cuffed behind my back, along with a heavy shackle around my neck.

Regardless, I managed to get up and go towards the bars of the cell to look around. There was no one to be found anywhere.

"Jaemin! Chenle! Where are you?!"

I yelled out.

"Jeno-hyung! Are you ok?!"

Jaemin answered from the cell to the left of mine.

"I'm fine! Are you alright?!"

"Mhm! Where's Chenle?!"

"...He's with the others"

We heard Jisung answer from the cell to my right.

"Jisung?! Why are you here?!??"

Jaemin panicked.

"Renjun-hyung and I followed to where Syndell was taking you. We both knew something was up with him. I sacrificed myself to see it that Lele didn't get caught up in any of this..."

He sadly explained.

"So that's why you two were fighting earlier... You were trying to warn him about Syndell, but he didn't listen..."

I assumed that he nodded because he didn't answer me. 

"You're a good brother Jisung"

Jaemin stated.

"...Thanks hyung"

"How long have we been out???"

I questioned, looking around more.

"He used Toxic Bubble to knock us out, so probably about two or three days"

"It's been three days"

We suddenly heard Syndell speak.

He calmly paced down the hallway to face the three of us.

"Why would you do this Syndell?!"

I exclaimed.

"Like I told Chenle, I work for Seifer, Vexx, and Xander. My mission was to slowly capture all seven of you and bring you here, but thanks to Renjun's and Jisung's suspicions about me, the mission didn't go quite as planned. However, this still works for our benefit"

He then pulled out a three way chain leash.

One by one, he opened our cells and connected the leash to the shackles around our necks.

He roughly dragged us out of the room, hurting our necks every time he yanked on the leash.

We soon ventured into a huge throne room, with the three people who pursued us.

Seifer, Vexx, and Xander.

"It's a shame we couldn't get the little kitten, but this group works too~"

Vexx smiled.

"What do you want with us...?"

Jaemin frowned.

"Your power, obviously"

Seifer sighed.

"We want to use you three. It'd be easier to understand the weaknesses of your family, if we used your power against them"

"And how do you intend to do that? We're not going to go against our family just like that"

Jisung stated.

Xander only glanced at Vexx, and he cheerfully came over to us.

He gave us each some pieces of jewelry. He gave Jaemin a hairpin, he gave Jisung two earrings, and he gave me a necklace, a hairpin, and an earring.

He returned to his position and Xander then glanced at Syndell. He removed the shackles around our necks, as well as the cuffs on our hands.

We quickly backed away from the four of them and tried running away to escape. We knew that attacking them head on like this might get us killed.

But while we were running, I looked back to see Xander snapping his fingers. When he did, my vision went blurry and my head started pounding. Added on top of that, my heart started pounding at a very fast pace.

The same thing happened to Jaemin and Jisung too. But instead of still standing like I was, Jisung fell and Jaemin bumped into a nearby railing.

"The jewelry you three were given were all created by Seifer. While he was making them, I transferred my Mind Control power into all of them. Now you'll have no choice but to go against your family"

"It's best to just let it happen. You'll only hurt more if you resist"

Seifer stated.

"Welcome to the club~. You're all our pawns now~"

Vexx cheered.

"It goes like this. You'll each fight your old comrades separately and under our separate supervision. Jisung will be with Seifer, Jaemin with Vexx, and Jeno with me"

"Wait! Can I use Jaemin and Jisung for the first fight Sei?! Pleaaasse~?"

Vexx excitedly pleaded.

"Do what you want. I couldn't care less"

Seifer huffed.

"Sweet~!"

Jisung soon started to get up, trembling a little bit as he did.

But when he got up, he wasn't himself anymore. His eyes were red and he had a red aura around him.

"J-Jisung..."

Jaemin stuttered.

I soon heard the sounds of him crying, and he slowly but surely came and hugged me.

"H-Hyung... I d-don't w-wanna go..."

I felt him shaking as he sobbed into my shoulder.

"Jaemin... I-I'm sorry..."

I hugged him tighter, and soon he stopped shaking.

He pushed me off of him, and he wasn't himself anymore either, in the same condition as Jisung.

They both grabbed me by my arms and dragged me over to the other three. They pushed me down and got down on their knees, pushing my head down to make me bow with them.

"Your pain will end if you just give in"

Seifer stated.

"S-Shut up..."

"You know, I'm going to have a lot more fun having control over you than the other two"

"...?"

I stayed quiet.

"Apart from my Mind Control, I also implanted my Monster ability in the jewelry, but only in yours"

"W-What?!"

I yelled.

"When your fight comes along, soon after it starts, you'll no longer have the same body you have now. I thought about this earlier. You've got an amazing physique and you're incredibly strong, and with that in mind, your body will be able to withstand my power far better than any of the others would. Once I've activated that power, you'll become even stronger. But sooner or later, my power will kill you"

"Y-You....c-can't....."

I felt tears leave my eyes.

Is this really going to be the end of me..? I never got to tell the others how much I love them..., especially Serafina...

"I can, and I will. But, at least this part will be over soon. Your eyes are already turning red now anyways. Welcome to the club"

Xander smirked, making me look at him by roughly grabbing my chin.

Jaemin and Jisung just stared at me, as if they were waiting for me to finally give up. It wouldn't even matter if I tried to resist anymore. I'm too weak to fight it now anyway.

I could only say one last thing to Xander before I finally lost myself, hoping for the others to come and save us.
