We all rushed Mark to the infirmary to try and save him.

When we got there, we laid Mark down and began our courses of action.

At the same time, I began healing him and Donghyuck tried heating him up the best way we could.

But our efforts barely did anything.

I may have restored some of his strength, but he started panicking and the ice started to spread faster.

"What are you blaming yourself for this time?!"

Taeyong asked, with Eunji latched on to his leg.

She really loves her big brother doesn't she?

"T-This whole thing is my fault..."

"What are you-"

"He's talking about our abduction and separation"

Jisung butted in.

I forgot that he can read minds.

"Because he told us to run across Jeno-hyung's chains, and because he led us to pursue our enemies instead of fleeing after we put the robot in self destruct mode, he blames himself for everything that's happened after that"

Mark just nodded, the ice freezing him more at a slowly increasing speed.

Hyuck started to cry harder and his heat increased as he tried to heat him up, but it was barely effective.

"Wait... I've read about this situation before"

Jisung suddenly stated.

"Usually something inside a person with powers similar to Mark-hyung's will cause their body to go into a type of emotional shutdown, if enough emotionally trauma is caused to that part of them..."

"Meaning what???"

I asked.

"If I'm guessing the right part of him, Mark-hyung's heart isn't normal"

Everyone including Mark was confused.

"Jaemin-hyung, can your telescopic vision allow you to see through Mark-hyung's body?"

"I-It can. I don't know if I can see past his bones..., but I'll try"

"Thank you. Look at the spot where his heart would most likely be"

"O-Ok..."

Jaemin began staring intensely at Mark's chest, trying to test this theory to his power.

"W-Wait...! It's working! I can see through him!"

"Good. Now tell me if you see anything abnormal hyung"

"Oh, right! Let me see...... Wait. O-Oh jeez"

"What is it Nana??"

"His heart really isn't normal... It's a type of Crystal Heart..."

"What's a Crystal Heart?!"

Donghyuck questioned.

"They're extremely rare hearts that can cause lethal life threatening complications to someone, if they suffer enough emotional trauma. Since Mark-hyung's power has to do with ice, his Crystal Heart can cause him to freeze up completely from the inside out, until it kills him. But it can only kill him if his entire body stays frozen long enough"

"Like how long?!"

Donghyuck questioned Jisung.

"It depends on the person's resistance and strength. If they're too weak to resist the Crystal Heart's power, they'll only last five minutes at the very least. But if they're generally strong enough to resist, they'll last at least ten to fifteen minutes. And an exceptionally strong person can last up to a couple days, give or take"

"W-What category does Mark-hyung fall into...?"

"Depends. What state was he in when you found him?"

"Everything but his neck and head was frozen, but Hyuck thawed him out"

I answered.

"And how long have you been dealing with this since our separation Mark-hyung?"

"...I-I don't know... A long time I guess..."

"I see... In that case, since he's been struggling for so long, added on top of the fact that he was practically on the verge of death when you found him, he might fall under the weak category at this point..."

"H-Hyung..."

Donghyuck whimpered, followed by a groan from Mark because of the spreading ice.

His legs and most of his upper body were completely frozen now.

"Jisung, how do we stop this?"

Jeno calmly asked.

"There's only one option at this point. Usually consolation would work, but it's far too late for that now since it would take too long. And with how fast the ice is spreading, Hyung wouldn't survive. So our only option is to heat him up on the inside, physically and emotionally"

"How the hell do we do that?!"

Chenle shrieked.

"Heat Transferral. Donghyuck-hyung is the only one who can do it. Not only because it branches into his fire powers, but also because he's the closest to Mark-hyung"

"H-Heat Transferral?"

Donghyuck questioned with hopeful eyes.

"It's a special ability that can transfer heat to another person or object, whether inside or out. In this case, there's only one way for you to transfer heat to Mark-hyung on the inside to thaw his Crystal Heart"

"H-How??!! I'll do it! W-Whatever it is that I have to do, I'll do it!"

Jisung motioned for him to come closer so he could whisper the solution to him.

Donghyuck's cheeks changed to a light shade of red, and he backed away from Jisung slowly.

"A-Are you sure t-that's the only way...?"

"Do you want to save Mark-hyung?"

"Yes!"

"Then yes. And I'd suggest that you hurry"

He pointed to Mark who was now back to the same state he was in before, his head and neck the only things not frozen.

"Mark-hyung!"

Donghyuck rushed over to Mark's side.

His eyes were slowly closing as the ice began to take over the rest of him.

Donghyuck shook him slightly to keep him awake, but Mark told him to stop.

"...D-Don't try to save m-me Hyuckie... Y-You're all better off w-without me..."

Donghyuck looked like he had a mix of emotions flood into him, both sadness and anger from Mark's words.

He sat Mark upright and made him look him in the eyes.

Despite the tears flowing out of his eyes, he kept a straight face, holding him close.

"S-Shut up..., you idiot..."

Donghyuck stated before closing his eyes, and crashed his lips onto Mark's.

I get it.

The only way to save Mark was to heat him up with a Heated Kiss, literally.

Mark's eyes shot open, but they soon closed again, worrying the rest of us. But we were all relieved when we saw steam coming off of Mark's body, and when the ice started to melt.

Soon his arms were thawed out completely, and Mark wrapped his arms around Hyuck's neck, returning the kiss.

Soon the rest of his body thawed out, and Jaemin alerted us that his Crystal Heart was stable again.

But Mark and Donghyuck still kept going.

Donghyuck lifted him up and Mark wrapped his legs around Hyuck's waist. Donghyuck spun him around and soon a white light showed up around them, followed by swirls of ice and fire circling around them.

The light became so bright that we couldn't even see them, until it finally disappeared, and revealed that they had fused.

But instead of being like one of our fusions, they formed an actual person!

He has reddish purple hair and lime green eyes. He's slightly taller than Jisung, and judging by his attitude so far, he seems to have the shy personality that Mark had from when he was younger.

I think it's kinda cute that he was blushing, especially because of what Mark and Hyuck just did to form him.

"Woooow! How come their fusion isn't like when we fused with Injunie???"

Jeno questioned, examining the blushing boy.

"This is a different type of fusion that only happens when a specific power stabilizes a Crystal Heart. In this case, Donghyuck-hyung used the Heat Transferral to stabilize Mark-hyung's Crystal Heart directly, physically and emotionally. And because they both had a strong connection and love for each other already, it not only stabilized the Crystal Heart and saved Mark-hyung, but it also allowed them to form a very rare fusion. But now whenever they fuse, this will always be the product"

Jisung explained.

"...I need a drink after hearing all that"

Johnny stated, walking out of the infirmary.

"Why are we all even still in here??? It's time to skedaddle!"

YangYang cheered, and everyone followed him, except me and Namjoon.

"Namjoon-hyung, stay with us just a little while longer and rest. Me and my team will help you find your team together later"

"Sure. Thank you"

He smiled and walked out to find the others.

I was about to walk out, but I noticed that Mark and Hyuck's fusion was still standing there.

He looked a little scared, and he was obviously shy and confused.

"Come with me"

I held out my hand for him to hold.

He hesitated but soon accepted, and I led him to my room.

I closed the door behind us, and told him that he could sit with me on my bed.

When he looked a little more comfortable, I proceeded to ask him some questions.

"So, I can already guess that you can control fire and ice, correct?"

He nodded.

"So apart from that, do you have a weapon or two?"

He hesitantly nodded, summoning Sun & Moon Daggers.

He held them out for me to observe them.

"I see... They're both extremely rare variations of Power Weaponry, Solar Weaponry and Lunar Weaponry. You can harness the sun's energy to produce attacks from your Sun Dagger, and you can harness the moon's energy to produce attacks from your Moon Dagger. But the amount of energy you harness depends on various things"

"...?"

He looked like he wanted me to explain further.

"Ok, so say for instance, the clouds are blocking the sun. The amount of clouds blocking the sun, and their density, can affect the amount of power you can harness from the sun. And of course depending on the moon's different phases, you'll get the most energy from a full moon, varying energy from crescents and quarters, and no energy from a new moon"

He looked like he understood, and dematerialized his weapons.

"Now then, have you thought of a name for yourself? I have already, but I want to know if you already had one picked out"

He shook his head for no, and looked eager to know the name I chose for him.

"Fluorite"

"F-Fluorite..."

He timidly repeated back.

"Yes~. It's the gem of peace, bliss, and calming, which I believe describes you completely. Mark and Donghyuck are always at peace when they're together and always have the feeling of bliss with one another. And from what I saw earlier, they definitely know for sure how to keep each other calm. You're their love and all of those feelings given form"

He smiled and blushed while playing with his hands.

"Oh! I have some things for you~"

I got up and started looking in the multiple storage spaces in my room, until I found the two things I was looking for.

The first was a Fluorite necklace that I put around his neck.

It was with a bunch of other necklaces with different gems, so I thought it'd be perfect to give him.

And the second was a pair of retro glasses I thought that he'd like.

I handed them to him, and he curiously put them on.

"Ok so, the necklace has the gem Fluorite. Not only does it represent your name, it also represents the meaning of the gem and it's a representation of Mark and Donghyuck's love"

He smiled and played with it a little.

"And those glasses have two purposes. First off, they look cool and since I noticed that you're a little shy, these glasses make you look confident. And nobody will know if you're not looking them in the eyes~. And second, they have temperature sensors built within them"

"S-Sensors?"

"Mhm~. They regulate your body temperature and stuff like that. For example, if you use too much fire at once or if you get too mad, the glasses will turn purple, as a warning that you're overheating. And if you use too much ice or if you get too sad, they'll turn blue, as a warning that you're freezing up"

"Oh~"

He cheered, understanding everything I said.

He's talking a little more now.

I'm glad~.

His voice sounds a lot like Earth's Billie Eilish, but like a deeper boy version, with a bit of a British accent.

I like his voice, and I want him to talk more.

"Come on. Let's go join the others. I know they wanna hang out with you and get to know you more"

I walked to the door and was about to exit, but he grabbed my wrist to stop me.

"What's up??"

He raised his glasses up a little bit to look me in the eyes, and smiled.

"...T-Thank you Renjun~"

I smiled and held his hand, leading him out.

"You're welcome Fluorite~"
