"PARIS?!"

Everyone shrieked excitedly.

"Wait a second! Every single one of you can't come!"

They all sighed in annoyance and disappointment.

"Renjun is right. Our team has to be as undercover as possible. If all of us went, we'd cause too much of a scene"

Taeyong informed.

"Makes sense... So who's going???"

Donghyuck asked.

"Let's see... Our team might have to be bigger than our usual seven or eight, based on the mission's description"

"How so Renjun?"

Taeyong asked.

"The Notre Dame Cathedral is on fire"

"WHAT?!?!"

Taeyong shrieked.

"NOT THE CATHEDRAL!!!"

Doyoung exclaimed.

"JUST LIKE THE MOVIE!!!"

Everyone looked at Yuta in confusion.

"What movie???"

Sicheng questioned.

"None of you have seen The Hunchback of Notre Dame!??"

"We have~"

Lucas, Jungwoo, and Geno cheered.

Jungwoo began to explain what happened in the movie, and we all understood what Yuta was referring to.

"So the cathedral caught on fire just like it did in the movie...? That's messed up"

Taeil contemplated.

"Yes. So I have to decide who can go based on the mission. We have to save any valuable artifacts and citizens from the fire, and help the fire department put the fire out"

I explained and asked everyone, including The High Five and our companions, to line up for me.

I began from Jisung on up to decide who would go.

"Jisung can go. We'll need your Water Manipulation "

"Yay~"

He cheered, and I asked him to move to the side.

That way, I could have two groups: one for who's going, and one for who's not going.

"Jaemin can go. We'll need your Telescopic Vision"

He smiled and moved to where Jisung was.

"Jeno can go. We'll need your Compress ability"

"Sweet~"

He happily moved to the side.

"Mark-hyung can go as backup. We might be able to use your Cyrokinesis in some way"

He let out a sigh of relief, and stepped to the side.

"Taeyong-hyung has to go. None of us can speak or understand French, so we'll need his Omnilinguaism. We'll also need his Weather Manipulation at some point"

He ruffled my hair and smiled before happily skipping to the side.

"Jungwoo can come. We'll need his Light Manipulation since it'll be night time in Notre Dame"

"Yaayyy~"

He skipped over to the others.

"Johnny-hyung can go. We'll need his Earphone Jacks. And Doyoung-hyung can go too. We might need his Homing ability at some point"

"Cool~"

"Nice~"

They high fived each other, and moved to the side.

"Yoonho can go to help Taeyong-hyung keep the citizens calm"

"Yayyyy~"

He hugged Zuho, then proceeded to moving to the side.

"YangYang and Xiaojun-hyung can go. We can use Hyung's Lunar Vision, and Yang's Blood Pressure Manipulation"

They both hugged Hendery, and moved to the side.

"And lastly..... Geno can come. We need her Enhanced Speed"

She nodded and moved to the side.

"Phooey...I can't go..."

Donghyuck sighed.

"I have a reason for why the rest of you can't come, starting with Chenle. Your powers might scare the citizens, and also none of us want to see you get hurt any time soon"

"Understandable"

"Donghyuck specifically can't go because his main power is Pyrokinesis. We can't fight fire with fire"

"Also understandable"

"When it comes to Lucas, Sicheng-hyung, Ten-hyung, Kun-hyung, Yuta-hyung, Taeil-hyung, Leiyong, Suko, and Zuho, your powers are all too dangerous"

They all nodded in understanding.

"Now when it comes to Jaehyun-hyung, Hendery-hyung, Jay, Serafina, Nora, Kou, Aurora, and The High Five, your powers might not help at all, no offense"

"None taken"

They all stated in understanding.

"And, our dear companions, we don't feel that comfortable sending any of you into any missions with us yet. When there's a suitable mission, you'll be able to come with us"

They all nodded.

"Levi, I can't take you because of the big disadvantage you have. Grass type creatures like you are at a huge risk when near fire. I don't want anything happening to you and Cricket"

"I understand, chu chu..."

Levi sadly stated, and Cricket cawed in disappointment.

"And Hiss, no offense, but you don't have any powers besides being able to speak. I want you to stay here with Levi so you won't get hurt"

"Ok, hiss hiss..."

He hissed sadly.

"And of course, Enzo can't go for the reason that foxes just don't do well with fire"

Enzo sadly yapped with understanding.

"Everyone else, suit up so we can depart"

"Right!"

Our team consists of thirteen members: me, Jisung, Jaemin, Jeno, Mark, Jungwoo, Taeyong, Johnny, Doyoung, Yoonho, YangYang, Xiaojun, and Geno.

We gave Yoonho a new hero costume, and Geno already had multiple ones, so she just chose one she felt would fit the occasion.

Everyone else dressed up in their hero costumes, and we all grouped up in the lab again.

I installed a new teleportation pad in the lab this time around so getting around would be easier.

I set our destination to Notre Dame, and we instantly teleported there.

Around 9pm

"The spire already fell!!"

Jungwoo shrieked with dread.

"There's no time to panic! Here's the plan. Jungwoo must use his light to help us all see what we're doing. Jisung can then start to put out the fire. Xiaojun-hyung and Jaemin can pinpoint exactly where the artifacts and citizens are. Jaemin will pinpoint the citizens, while Hyung pinpoints the artifacts. Yang and Jeno will go with Hyung to retrieve the artifacts, and Geno will go with Jaemin to save the citizens. Johnny-hyung should go with Jaemin too, to listen for other trapped citizens through the walls. Mark-hyung can help Jisung by freezing the burning structures so they won't collapse while he puts the fire out. Doyoung-hyung can help Mark-hyung by pinpointing the deteriorating structures before they fall so he can freeze them. And Taeyong-hyung and Yoonho will work together to calm the citizens"

They all nodded at my plan.

"After everything is fixed and settled, we find the one who sent the S.O.S to give our final report"

"What will you do brother???"

"I can help in two ways. I can help Jisung with the fire with my Whirlwind ability. Fire needs oxygen in order to thrive, so I'll use my Whirlwinds the decrease the amount of oxygen around the fire to effectively put it out. And I could use my Healing to heal any injured citizens. Also Jisung can also possibly use his Telepathy to communicate with us, his Psychokinesis to lift any debris out of the way so it doesn't get burned, and his Magnetism to pull any of us out the fire if we get stuck"

"Oh~"

"Also, as a safety measure, Jaemin has to use his Hardening ability to keep himself from getting burned. Mark-hyung can't use his Smoke ability or he'll get blown away with the fiery smoke. Taeyong-hyung should manipulate the weather to make sure it's not too hot or too cold to not only prevent a bigger fire, but also to prevent a tornado. He can also use his Jet ability if he sees fit. None of us can use any powers or weapons that might damage this place more. And I can't use my plants or they'll burn. Other than that, just follow the plan and make sure the fire doesn't spread. Now Jisung, go help those firemen!"

"On it hyung!"

I jumped up to higher ground to analyze the area.

Jungwoo followed me and shined a light around the area so we could all see. There was two or three firemen already trying to put the fire out, but it wasn't very effective.

Luckily, there was water near the cathedral, so I summoned a bunch of the water to my side, and began to surround the fire with it before drenching it.

I saw Renjun down below with Mark and Doyoung.

Renjun used his Whirlwinds to try and put out the fires, while Doyoung helped Mark fix the structures that were about to collapse.

While they did that, Xiaojun, YangYang, and Jeno ran in and out of the cathedral with many artifacts. Many of them were artifacts Jeno had compressed into tiny marbles. And Jaemin, Geno, and Johnny ran in and out with many frightened citizens.

Johnny then used his earphones to listen through the walls for any more survivors, while Taeyong and Yoonho consoled the panicking citizens. Taeyong easily fixed the weather while he was at it.

Renjun then swiftly ran out of the cathedral after weakening the fire for me, and went to tend to the citizens' injuries.

'The fire is almost out!'

I notified everyone telepathically.

'We're almost done here too!'

Mark informed.

'Everyone is out! Jisung, can you help me out?! I can't see from all of this smoke!'

'I'm on it!'

I doused the fire with a huge wave of water one last time, putting it out.

Jungwoo and I jumped down and ran to Taeyong. I tapped Taeyong so he'd be the one Johnny would get magnetized to. I ran in the cathedral and followed Johnny's voice.

I finally reached him and held onto his hand, magnetizing him. We immediately started being pulled towards Taeyong's direction, and we soon made it out of the cathedral.

Everyone else thankfully made it out safely.

I then quickly levitated any debris and fallen pieces of the cathedral out of the way, so they wouldn't get burned by the falling fire sparks.

Jaemin helped me of course.

He's such a nice hyung~.

Everyone regrouped over to where Renjun was, and we followed him and Taeyong to find the one who sent the S.O.S.

We finally found the guy we were looking for.

His name was Arthur. And lucky for us, he's multilingual.

He happily took us to his private palace, and we all sat in the dining room.

"I'm really grateful to all of you~. Although, some of you aren't ones that were described to me by my comrade Malachi"

"You know Malachi??!"

Renjun asked with shock.

"Oh yes. We're very close friends, best friends actually"

"That's so cool~. But yes, some things have changed in our team since the day we met Malachi"

"Did you lay people off?"

"Oh no no no! We just got a lot of new recruits. So now, we analyze our missions, and send different members depending on their powers and the mission's description"

"I see, very smart. So, who's the leader of your team?"

Most of us looked at Taeyong, while others looked at Renjun and Mark.

"I-It's kind of unclear who our leader is. Mark-hyung, Taeyong-hyung, and I kind of share that position"

"And there's nothing wrong with that at all. If you like having multiple leaders, then by all means, go for it"

Renjun smiled at his statement.

"Oh! Where are my manners...? I should pay you now"

He walked off, but soon came back with two huge bags of money.

"Each bag contains five hundred thousand euros, so there's one million euros total"

"ONE MILLION?!?!?!?!?!"

We all shrieked.

ONE MILLION EUROS?!?!?!

"Oh yes, my friends. The Notre Dame Cathedral has been around for over eight and a half centuries. It means a lot to the people of France. Thanks to all of you, it won't cost us as much to rebuild what we've lost. And we won't have to replace any of the artifacts. Not to mention all of the innocent citizens you've saved in such little time. Malachi was right to recommend you to me. Please accept the reward. You all have earned it~. Thank you~"

We gladly accepted the reward from Arthur, and bid him our goodbyes.

I teleported us back home, and everyone was already there waiting for us in the lab.

"We're back~"

I cheered.

"How'd it go hyung~?"

Chenle cheerfully asked.

I just simply smiled at them all.

I just had a great idea~.

I held up one of the money bags and smiled brightly.

"Who wants to go to Paris~?"
