It's been ten months since we left Ethora.

After that month Chenle woke up, we trained for the other nine months. Everyone did great, and we all learned some new techniques. We even practiced things like stealth attacks, setting traps and decoys, and most importantly, fighting as a unit.

We've been through a lot during those ten months though. Yuta sent a lot of the others at random to attack us, but we always pulled through in the end. And every time we pulled through, it proved that we were getting stronger.

So, we finished our training, and finally, we made a course for Ethora.

Back on Ethora

We were all confused when we got back to the HDJ.

The barrier had completely disappeared.

I guess now anyone can get in. But I don't think any good guys will be able to get close enough to the HDJ.

There's a huge battle going on miles away thats preventing them from getting any closer. But I think we'll be fine on our own.

We landed back at the docks where the other ships were, proceeding to think of our game plan.

Our plan is to go throughout the HDJ to find our friends, and hopefully snap them out of their possession. We'll regroup back to the ships to prepare for our next battle, then we'll go after the fucker who possessed them.

We found ourselves in a secret room under the HDJ.

It didn't seem that anyone was here, so we were about to leave, but we were stopped.

Yuta suddenly appeared in a whirlwind of blue flames. He started walking towards us, making us back up towards the tree. But then Doyoung jumped in front of the tree, forming cracks in the ground in the process.

And to make matters worse, all the others came walking out of the darkness from behind the tree.

This is an ambush.

"A b o u t t i m e y o u a l l s h o w e d u p~"

"Doyoung! We don't want to fight you!"

Taeyong tried to reason with him, but it clearly wasn't working.

"B u t w e w a n n a f i g h t y o u~"

Doyoung smiled menacingly when he said that.

It's twenty two of us against seven of them, so in my opinion, we should be fine right~?

30 Minutes Later

I was wrong.

It's ten against seven now.

Taeyong, Lucas, Jungwoo, Jaehyun, Yoonho, Zuho, Suko, Leiyong, Nora, Serafina, Geno, and Kou all got apprehended in an electric field that Johnny made.

So now it was me, Jisung, Chenle, Jaemin, Donghyuck, Jeno, Mark, YangYang, Xiaojun, and Hendery against Sicheng, Ten, Doyoung, Yuta, Johnny, Taeil, and Kun.

We all split up to fight different members.

Chenle had Kun.

Jisung had Johnny.

Jaemin and Hendery had Taeil.

Mark had Sicheng.

Donghyuck had Yuta.

Xiaojun had Ten.

And YangYang, Jeno, and I had Doyoung.

Kun had shapeshifted into a huge werebear, so Chenle shapeshifted into a huge werewolf in order to fight him.

Jaemin and Hendery were having a sword-keyblade fight with Taeil.

Mark tried to combat Sicheng, while also trying to keep him at a distance by using his Earth Flow.

Donghyuck was trying to combat Yuta's Cremation with his own flames.

Xiaojun wasn't having that much trouble fighting Ten and Chittaphrr thanks to the light in the room.

And Jisung was purposely letting Johnny electrify the water spheres he'd made, so he could throw them back at him for an effective attack.

Meanwhile, YangYang, Jeno, and I were having some trouble with Doyoung.

Every time we'd try to use a certain power on him, he'd erase it right at the last second. We resorted to using regular sword attacks instead, but it's starting to get really difficult to deflect his bullets. They almost end up hitting us because he's so accurate.

And I can tell that we're all starting to get tired.

"Hyung, this isn't getting us anywhere!"

"I know Jeno, but we have to try harder-"

"FUCK"

Donghyuck suddenly yelled out, catching everyone's attention.

All we saw was a huge blast of blue flames coming from Yuta. It's common knowledge that blue flames are way more intense than red flames. So it was inevitable for Donghyuck to have trouble with fighting Yuta.

Apparently, Donghyuck's flames weren't strong enough to stop Yuta from landing a hit on him, and the blast sent him flying into a wall.

We all rushed over to him to see if he was ok, but he looked so scared and was shaking so much.

And he was covering his left eye.

"Donghyuck, let me see your eye"

He hesitated, but he obeyed.

He removed his hand from his face, to reveal a huge burn that covered his eye, much like Todoroki.

"Oh Hyuck..."

"D-Don't look at me hyung....."

He winced in pain a little, and covered his eye again.

I don't think anyone else noticed it, but I saw a single tear fall from his uninjured eye.

This sent me over the edge.

Renjun pet my head, and got up to face not only Yuta, but all the others that were now slowly coming toward us.

I saw him clenching his fists, and his hair started to rise, glowing occasionally. There was a new green fiery aura around him too.

He let an angered yell, and the ground shook and broke beneath his feet. His hair changed to a glowing green, and his power significantly increased by a tremendous amount.

The fiery aura disappeared, and was replaced with a green electrical aura.

He's like a super saiyan, minus the saiyan?

All of us, including the others, looked both shocked and confused, especially Taeyong. Yuta suddenly fired off a blast of blue flames at us, but Renjun was beyond ready for it.

He knocked the blast away into a wall, and fired off a huge blast of green flames towards all of them!

It didn't burn them, but it sent them all flying off into another wall.

Of course!

Green flames are far more intense than red or blue flames!

That's how he countered Yuta so well!

"If you're going to do something instead of stalking us, do it now. You stuck around long enough without doing shit to help"

"Jeez, my bad! Don't get your panties in a pretzel! Now, Mystic Barrier!"

I heard a voice come from above, and a blue beam shot towards the others, trapping them in a slightly invisible type of barrier.

But..., I know that voice.

The person landed in front of the others, and we all awaited for the next big move.

"Oppas~, saranghaeyo~"

The person yelled cutely, shooting two finger hearts at them.

I know those cute little antics...!

The others were confused at first, but soon started screaming in pure agony as the darkness controlling them was being removed.

All of the darkness was just phasing out of them!

Soon, all of the darkness was collected into a huge energy ball. The person absorbed some of the darkness, and converted the rest into a blast of pure light, destroying the dark ball.

The electric field around Taeyong and the others disappeared, as did the barrier around our now unpossessed friends.

Taeyong ran to them to make sure they were ok. Luckily, they were, but they were all out cold.

I got up and walked towards the person, and they came walking towards me with their head hanging down.

When we stopped in front of each other, I had a feeling that I knew exactly who the person was.

"...Jay?"

A giggle came from the person, and they hugged me immediately.

"Right you are Donghyuck~"

I immediately hugged her back with just one of my arms, very happy to see her again.

Although, she was confused as to why I used just one arm.

She actually looked me in the face, and noticed that I was covering my eye.

"Hyuck, what happened???"

"Oh.. Yuta-hyung burned my face, and my eye..."

I removed my hand so she could see, embarrassed because of how weak I was compared to him.

"I see... Hold still"

She summoned her staff, and pointed it at my face.

All I saw was a flash of white light, and the pain I felt just suddenly disappeared.

"What was that???"

"A healing spell~. I healed you, but you still have a slight discoloration from the burn, and your eye color in that eye isn't brown anymore. It's a light blue"

"Great..."

Now I really look like Todoroki....

"Don't worry, I think it's cute~"

She held her hand against my cheek, making me blush a little.

"Oh! I almost forgot!"

I dug into my pocket, and pulled out her earring.

She had a shocked expression on her face.

"You had it this whole time?!"

"Yeah. You dropped it ten months ago when you flew away. I waited for the day I would see you again, t-to return it to you"

I held it out to her, but she just shook her head and smiled.

She took it, but instead of putting it back in her ear, she put it in mine.

"I'd prefer if you kept it. And, for the record, I like you too~"

Huhhh?????!!!

"B-But, how did you find out???"

"It's because of my power, Empathy. When you touched me that day, you touched my bare skin, activating my power. When I make skin-to-skin contact with others, I can sense what they feel and what they've been through. But I can only sense one thing at a time for every time I touch someone. When I kissed you, I sensed all the torment you were going through from your necromancy, so I removed all of the evil spirits from you, except for that dark shadow dragon you loved the most. But then when you touched my shoulder, I accidentally sensed that you liked me. That's the real reason I didn't take the ship that day..."

She went silent for a moment, but soon continued.

"But, I secretly stayed with you guys the entire time, and thought over what I had discovered. I watched while you trained and fought with your brothers. I got to see for myself just how compassionate and loving you are towards them. And, I soon started to gain feelings for you as well..."

She looked away and blushed on that last part.

I just smiled at her, and softly kissed her cheek, making her look up at me with surprise.

"I'm glad~"

I brought her into a hug, and she hugged me back immediately.

"Hey, love birds. Mind giving us a hand over here?"

Mark suddenly interrupted us, and brought our attention back to the task at hand.

"Sorry hyung!"

"Mianhae oppa!"

20 Minutes Later

There was a double reunion back on the ship.

Jay was reunited with her best friends, and they only have one left to find now~. They were so happy to see her, especially since she's the second youngest out of her friends.

Taeyong was a crying mess after all the others woke up. He'd missed them so much, especially Johnny. Yuta apologized to me multiple times for what he did, but I reassured him that it wasn't his fault. The others apologized to us too, but we all reassured them that it was ok.

The only thing that was off, was Renjun, who was still in the same transformation from earlier.

He hasn't smiled once since we got back on the ship. Not even Chenle's jokes managed to make him crack even the slightest grin.

He was just sitting and staring off into the distance, until he finally got up.

"I'll be back. All of you stay here"

"Where are you going hyung???"

I asked, immediately getting up from my seat.

"I'm going after that mind controlling asshole"

"Renjun! You have no idea what he's capable of! I barely got away from him unharmed! Don't do this alone!"

Jaehyun tried to reason with him, but it didn't work.

"He's going to pay. Right now. Don't try to stop me hyung"

"At least let me go with you oppa"

Jay suddenly volunteered.

"I'm not stopping you, but you need my power. I can absorb all of the darkness within him, but only after you weaken him. But that shouldn't be an issue. With this new power boost of yours, it should be a piece of cake~"

"...Fine. Let's go then"

She nodded and started to walk off, but I grabbed her hand to stop her.

"Jay..."

"I'll be fine Hyuck. Don't worry about me. I don't like to see you worry. Keep that cute smile while we're gone~"

She really is too cute...

I grinned softly and let her hand go.

She winked at me, and left with Renjun in pursuit of our enemy.

"You two go kick some ass for us~"
