"WHY CANT JAEHYUN JUST USE HIS SOLID AIR TO STOP IT?!?!"

"IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THAT THING!"

"DONGHYUCK NO!! ITS RESISTANT TO FIRE!! YOU'VE JUST MADE IT ANGRIER!!!"

You're probably wondering how we got in and out of that situation.

To start off, a Tarantula Hawk is a species of wasp that lives on Earth, and coexists on Ethora. It's known in both of our worlds to have the most painful sting ever. So bad, that it paralyzes it's victims. But if it stings a human or Ethorian, it's only a limited paralysis in the place that's been stung.

For creatures like an actual tarantula, however, it paralyzes them, lays its eggs on the spider's abdomen, and when the larva hatches, it will then eat the tarantula alive. And just to clarify, they don't look like neither a tarantula or a hawk.

Just a very big wasp.

So anyway~.

We stopped at a gas station midway on our road trip to this "state of the art" hotel. So we all got out to get food, buy souvenirs, take pictures of nearby plants. The usual road trip gander.

Then Chenle set eyes on the Tarantula Hawk and started following it. It started running away from him, but Chenle, being a literal curious puppy, decided to chase it, which of course made Lucas snitch to Taeyong.

After he nearly fell while running with his sweet tea, he started yelling at Chenle to get away from it. But unfortunately, the Tarantula Hawk started chasing him. Taeyong ordered Johnny to find something to catch it, but Johnny was too scared to and tried to get Jaehyun to stop it, and of course he wanted nothing to do with it.

Then Donghyuck got fed up and decided to light it on fire. But unfortunately, Ethorian Tarantula Hawks are very quick tempered, and extremely fire proof. So Donghyuck not only succeeded in angering it more, but also nearly set Chenle's tail on fire, only for it to start chasing him too.

So of course, he called upon Mark to rescue him, but Mark also wanted nothing to do with it. So after watching the two get chased by an angry insect for five good minutes, Jungwoo swooped in and saved the day.

How you may ask?

He just started petting it, and it actually calmed down. He picked it up and set it on a tree branch. Then it just walked away like nothing happened, while Donghyuck and Chenle were dying of fear and exhaustion.

But after that, we got back on the road and arrived at the hotel a few hours later.

I'm actually quite impressed with the exterior already. I'm guessing it's called "Encore" because people always come back to it.

Which is a good sign~.

2 Hours Later

Taeyong thankfully got us an entire floor to ourselves, so we're free to do whatever.

And it's on the top floor too~.

"Now then~. It's time to pick roommates~!"

"We're not gonna be deciding roommates by picking straws are we...?"

"Of course not dear Jeno~. I see no point in rooming with someone you don't wanna be with~"

"Yay~"

"But Renjun, as you may already know, Yoonho and Zuho are rooming with you. But you can have one or two more~"

"Hmmmm. I choose Jisung and Chenle~"

"Yay~, hyung chose me~"

"And me too~"

Three of them engulfed me in a hug, while Zuho just huffed and gently pat my head.

"Come on~. I wanna see our room~!"

Yoonho then took it upon himself to pull us into our room, Room 127.

"SO COOL~!!!"

"Not so fast you little furball!"

I caught Chenle before he could land on the bed.

Of course, he had turned into a puppy again.

"Wahhh???"

"Before you set foot on any bed, you're taking a bath~"

Jisung chimed in.

"Noooooo. I don't wannaaaaa"

"Too bad~"

I carried him into the bathroom no matter how much he protested.

But no matter how hard Jisung and I tried to get him in the bath, he refused.

"Chenleeee, if you get in the bath, I'll let you have the rest of my chocolate cereal when we get home~"

He stopped squirming as soon as I said that.

"...Promise?"

"Of course~"

"...Fine"

And with that, we placed him in the bath and started cleaning him, despite his whining.

1 Hour Later

Everyone else was asleep in my room, so I decided to chill in our personal lobby. Just to think about things.

Mostly about Zuho and Yoonho, and what to do about their humanity...

"You look stressed Renjunie"

"Yeah... I guess I- ...W-Woah"

"What?"

"S-Suko?"

"What is it??"

"Y-You look different..."

Extremely different...

"Yeah~? I kinda got tired of the black look. So I changed it to white~"

"T-That fast?!"

"I'm a Wolf Yōkai. I can pretty much change my appearance at any time~"

"Wait... So..., you're a demon just like me?!"

"Pretty much~, but you're only part demon, or did you forget~?"

She teased as she sat down next to me.

"Ha..., I didn't... But still! I never would've believed we were so similar this whole time..."

"I guess so~. But what's upsetting you so much??"

".....You've noticed it too right? How happy Zuho and Yoonho look together?"

"Have I?! They can't be separated!"

"I know..., that's the problem. I don't wanna pull their relationship apart again if we end up fusing..."

"I see... But maybe there's a way to keep them like this, but also fuse you all together at the same time?"

"I don't even know anymore Su..."

I stressfully ran my hands through my hair and breathed out in agitation.

I just don't want to pull them apart...

Not again...

I suddenly felt her hands on my face, and she pulled my face closer to hers, looking deeply into my eyes, and making me blush intensely.

"We'll all figure it out together when the time comes, ok~?"

She smiled.

"O-Ok"

I don't know what happened after that, but all I saw was a flash of white light, and my body felt...different??

Before I could figure it out, I think we both blacked out.

30 Minutes Later

"Hey! Heyyy! Wake up!"

I heard Jaemin and felt him shaking me to wake me up.

"Ugggghh, yeah?"

Wait, why does my voice sound so different???

"Who are you? And how did you end up on our floor?"

"And where are Renjun-hyung and Suko?"

Jeno suddenly asked, searching the lobby.

Chenle and Leiyong we're here too.

"Huh? What do you mean?? We're?- I'm? right here..."

Wait, I...or We???

"Wait a minute, I need to test something"

Chenle suddenly came closer.

"I see~..."

He pointed at me to finish the sentence.

"...The vision~"

"I wanna try something too"

Leiyong suddenly came forward.

He started petting my...our head, and we suddenly swatted his hand away.

"No way... Only Suko would do that to me..."

"And only Renjun-hyung would know that phrase besides me, Kun-hyung, Sicheng-hyung, and Lucas-hyung..."

We...I? looked at them with confusion, until I finally noticed my...our? hand.

It wasn't a hand anymore but a paw??? And it had a sort of glove on it that was blue, with black and yellow checkers???

Wait... My...Our? entire body is different????
