"Wait, hyung! We don't know for sure that he's here to attack! He could just be here for.....tea~?"

Chenle tried to reassure me.

I would've actually believed that, since he actually was drinking tea. But after he finished, he swiftly pulled out his katana, and killed someone by slitting their throat from behind.

It was then that Chenle got enraged, and shapeshifted into a White Tiger.

"Let's get this guy"

He growled.

"No. I'll take him. I'm the best at sword fighting on our team"

Jeno insisted.

I analyzed the rest of the Dragoons that started coming in. And I picked the pairs of who I thought would be a good match with their opponent.

There were six of them left.

"Donghyuck, you take the lava guy okay?"

"But, hyung. We're technically both fire types. Won't that result in a stalemate...?"

"Don't worry. I know that the fire in you burns hotter than his. I believe in you. Jaemin sees it too"

Jaemin smiled and nodded at him.

"...I'll do it, for you hyung"

I smiled at him, and continued moving down the list.

"Same situation goes for you Mark-hyung. You can take the ice dragon"

"Got it"

"Now Chenle, you can take the big bad wolf right there"

"Fine, and when I beat him, I'll come help you hyung~"

He insisted.

"Looking forward to it~. Jisung can take the flexible water type there"

"Interesting... I'll do it, but there's not much water around here though..."

"Jisung, literally the only thing everyone's been drinking here is water and tea..."

Donghyuck sighed.

"Oh, really??? In that case, I'm all good~"

"Ok then... Taeyong-hyung, Lucas, and Jungwoo can take the robot girl-"

"Xuxi! Tingyou!"

He yelled, making the two return to their regalia forms.

"This'll be easy~"

"Ok then. And finally, Jaemin and I will take Mr. Anubis"

"Yay~, I get to fight with Renjun-hyung~"

"You know what you have to do right?"

"I think so. Since I don't really have useful powers like the others, I mainly use my teleportation and precognition in battle right?"

"You got it~. And I'll do my best to cover you from any danger. And when Chenle joins us, our fight should become easier"

"Don't worry hyung, even if I am harmed, we're going to win. I see it"

He reassured me.

"I'm glad~. You ready for this?"

"Yeah, I'm ready~"

Soon, there was only one enemy left: Mr. Anubis.

This battle was going very well~.

Donghyuck managed to actually defeat his opponent by ripping his burning heart out. Mark froze his opponent and completely shattered it, with the help of Donghyuck's encouraging cheers.

Chenle made friends with the wolf man, and spared his life. He asked if he could stay in the forest the we found Judah in, and I agreed. He left and promised to protect the forest for us.

The same happened with Jisung's opponent. Apparently, the leader of the Dragoons kidnapped him from the exact same place we met Rylen. Jisung spared his life as well, and he happily returned to his home.

Taeyong only spared the robot girl's life because Malachi found interest in her. If he hadn't, Taeyong probably would've disassembled her. Malachi actually employed her at a high ranking in the palace. But I personally think he spared her mostly because he might have fallen for her.

Jeno must've played too much Mortal Kombat recently, because he completely sliced up the Dragoons' leader in multiple tiny bits. Then Donghyuck lit his remains on fire to dispose of it. But Donghyuck decided to keep the little shadow that was on his shoulder before. They actually grew a liking to each other, and I think it's pretty cute.

But despite all of us fighting together now, we were still having trouble with Mr. Anubis.

"Jisung! Why is it so hard to beat this guy?!"

I asked, to which he had a straight answer.

"His main ability is Dark Energy Manipulation. He can create, shape and manipulate dark energy, usually drawn from inter-dimensional sources or other similar sources. It can be channeled to a variety of effects as an absence of light, a solid, gaseous, or liquid substance that can be shaped and manifested in various ways. Not only that, but he also has Telepathy like I do! He knows every move we're going to make!"

This can go bad really quick...

'The only way we can beat him is if we fight without thinking. I think Renjun-hyung and Jeno-hyung are best for this job'

He spoke telepathically.

'Wait! Can't he hear you still?!'

'Nope, Mark-hyung is using his unplottable magic now'

'Oh. But why do you think me and Jeno would be best?'

'Think about it. He's a trained ninja who's achieved inner peace. And you can easily access your powers unintentionally, so it works~'

'Got it. Jeno, distract him for me while I come up with a plan!'

'Got it!'

He started attacking him again, and he was finally landing his blows. Jisung's plan is working.

Now I need to think.

I can't use my decomposition since I might destroy this entire place by accident. I can't use my animation because it might also prove to be too dangerous. My plants seem to be the only best bet. But there's no fucking plants he-

I felts small presence before me, and looked down to see a little sprout right next to my foot.

...Perfect!

I motioned for Jisung to come over and asked him to water it a little bit, so he did.

Next, I just had to speak to it.

'Hi little sprout~. I don't know if you can hear me, but we need your help. Can you try your best to bind the guy my brother is fighting right now? I'd really appreciate it, and I'll even take you home and let you live in a pot in my room. I'll take care of you, and so will my family. Will you do it?'

I asked it telepathically.

I waited a few seconds, but heard nothing.

But then...

'...yes'

I heard it finally answer.

'Thank you~. If you could travel under the floors and attack from underground to capture him, that'd be really swell buddy~'

'...i will do it'

It disappeared under the palace floors, and started to slowly move towards them.

'Jeno! Use your chains!'

'Got you!'

Jeno flipped backwards to where I was standing with Jisung, and released his chains, completely immobilizing his opponent.

'Now buddy!'

'...ok'

Immediately, very large, thick vines bursted up from the floors and broke the chains, and succeeded in binding Mr. Anubis.

We finally won!

'Fantastic! Stay exactly like that for a moment, okay buddy?'

'...okay'

We all finally made our way to him.

I got up close and personal with him, and took off his mask.

"Wait. W-What?!"

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

We both looked at each other, unable to look away as I dropped the mask.

"What is it hyung?!"

Jeno asked.

"I-I..."

I was completely speechless.

Everyone decided to come over to see what was so shocking to me. What they saw made them all yell with confusion and shock.
