I decided to have a day to myself, and revisited a few places from my past.

The final destination I've just arrived to is the forest where I met Enzo and Judah. I just learned that it's called the Scattered Forest, which makes it a whole lot easier for me to identify it.

I was greeted by most of the plants, and some of them sprouted with life upon my arrival.

"It's nice to see you all too~"

I happily spoke to them, and kneeled down to pet some of them.

But this time, something feels different, within me.

Before, I could tell that plants were alive only by looking at them, but now, it's like I can feel their life energy when I touch them.

It's as if I can feel the life energy in all of the different plants, and how different they feel in different......clusters.

I shook it off and continued to explore, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. But as I kept walking, I noticed that the ground and the surrounding plants started looking darker, as if they were dying.

I knelt down again to touch them, and their life energy was almost completely gone. And, something else weird happened.

When I touched the ground and plants this time, a golden aura appeared all over me.

I don't know what's going on, but either way, I have to find out what's going on.

I continued to follow the path of the dying plants, and surprisingly, I came across Judah?

"Renjun! Thank goodness you're here!"

"Judah! What's going on around here???"

"I have no idea! The Great Emerald Tree is dying and I can't fix it!"

"Great Emerald Tree?"

"It's the tree in the center of the forest that gives everything here life! Without it, all life here will be obliterated! I was hoping you could help. My powers aren't strong enough to keep the tree alive anymore..."

He looked very sad.

But, considering the new sensations I'm experiencing, this gives me an idea.

"Judah. Take me to the tree. I'll see what I can do"

He wasn't kidding.

The sight of the tree was bad enough, but when I touched it, I could barely sense even a bit of life energy from it!

"Please hurry Renjun... I don't want to see my forest die..."

"I'll try. I just need a second to think..."

He stood by while I formulated my plan.

After a couple minutes, I thought of the idea to give the tree some of my life energy. Given how powerful I am, it should work, but I have to test it first.

I touched part of the tree and transferred a small amount of my life energy into it, and color started returning to the branch. I could even sense it absorbing my life energy, and becoming healthy again.

But this is also how I confirmed that something's happening within me.

This time, when I gave the tree my life energy, a mysterious hand appeared next to mine, as if it fazed out of my body.

It went away when I stopped transferring my life energy to the tree.

"This is so bizarre..."

I mumbled lowly, so that Judah wouldn't hear.

Maybe, if I transfer a huge chunk of my life energy to the tree, this thing inside me will show its entire form.

And... If this is somehow a new power or something like that, I might as well give it a name.

The hand was gold, as well as the aura that comes with it. And given the lively experience it's given me so far, I'll name it...

"Gold Experience!"

The moment I called out it's new name, it emerged from within me and immediately punched the tree where I had touched it!

It's as if it knew what I wanted it to do, without me having to tell it!

As soon as it punched it, my life energy began flowing into the tree, and color started returning to it, slowly but surely.

It even managed to make some flowers around us bloom.

After a few minutes, the tree was completely restored to its former glory, and life began returning to the forest.

"Y-You did it Renjun! Thank you so much! My forest shouldn't have anymore problems living on like normal~!"

He hugged the tree with much adoration, but then realized the one thing that was out of the ordinary.

"Ummm... What is that...?"

We both looked at the figure next to me, both confused as to what or who it was.

It in itself is already bizarre, but it's external appearance is even more bizarre.

The top of its head is similar to that of a typical helmet of a soldier, with curved markings similar to the letter J coming down from the eyes on both sides. There are stylized wings on its shoulders and large ladybugs all over its body, and it wears slings, similar to ones that someone would wear on their pants.

In my opinion, its design reminds me of a scarab beetle, which is a symbol of creation in ancient Egypt. And it's very symbolic with its ladybugs, symbolizing regeneration, and with its angel wings as a symbol of peace.

Apart from that, it's just standing next to me like we've known each other forever.

It looked at me, but said nothing.

It's as if it was waiting for my next order. And... Even though I'm a bit skeptical about this thing, I somehow have the feeling that I can trust and rely on it. Like..., I can feel myself in it...

And..., it did help me save the forest. Maybe having him around won't be so bad.

But, I'll need help from someone to learn more about him. And I think I know just the person.

"This..., is Gold Experience"
