"A-Are you sure this is gonna work Renjun?"

"Certainly~. This is going to work hyung~, I just know it~"

Lucas and I are currently in the garden, near a small little tranquil pond I added a while ago.

"But..., w-what if he doesn't like what I got for him...?"

"That's impossible~. He'll definitely like the gifts you got for him~. Now stay right here, and I'll go get him. I wouldn't want him to get lost in here~"

Lucas nervously nodded, and I ran off to get Jungwoo.

I told him to wait outside the door, just to ensure that he wouldn't get lost. After I made it to the door, I eagerly let him in.

"You have your gifts right hyung~?"

"I do"

He held up a small gift bag, similar to the one Lucas has.

"Renjunie, I'm a bit nervous... What if he doesn't like the gifts...?"

"I don't see why he wouldn't~. I'm sure that he's going to love them~. He's already by the pond now. We wouldn't want to keep him waiting right~?"

Jungwoo had a nervous smile, but he still followed me back to Lucas.

When we got back to him, Lucas was sitting by the water with his gift bag rested next to him. He looked like he was trying to relax, but I could feel how tense and nervous he was.

"H-Hi Yukhei"

Jungwoo suddenly greeted, startling Lucas in the process.

"Hyung!!"

He quickly hid his bag behind him as he got up, but Jungwoo already saw it.

"You got something for me too...?"

Jungwoo quietly asked.

"Injun... You didn't tell me hyung got me something too..."

"Surprise~!"

Both of them look shocked, but also happy.

I purposely kept that part a secret from them both, to make it more special~.

"So which one of you wants to exchange gifts first~?"

"I-I'll go first"

Lucas nervously volunteered.

He hooked his bag onto his forearm, and pulled out the first gift.

"I know that your regalia form is a ring, and I know that you like cute things. So, when I saw this ring, it reminded me of you..."

Lucas shyly mumbled.

He gently put the ring on Jungwoo's middle finger, and then pulled out the second gift.

"A while ago, I read a book that had a section about your light generation power. I read that you could concentrate the light into your eyes, and shoot it out of your eyes like lasers. I know that glass concentrates and intensifies light, s-so I got you these goggles. It has multiple mirrors to increase the intensity of your light, a-and it has spikes on them to remind you of me...~"

He adjusted the strap on the goggles, and carefully placed them on Jungwoo's head.

"I-I hope you like them. I know it's not much..."

He timidly mumbled, but Jungwoo could only smile and pet him on his head.

"I really love them Yukhei. Thank you~"

He then reached into his bag and pulled out the first gift.

"I got you this Chain Chomp collar chain clip. When I saw it, I instantly thought of you, not only because its teeth are spiky, but also because it's cute and resembles a puppy, just like you~"

He gently pinned it to the collar of Lucas' shirt, and pulled out the second gift.

"When I saw this necklace, it reminded me of the two of us. The gem reminded me of myself, the star reminded me of you because it's both sharp and bright, and the two hearts reminded me of us both. We've been together through thick and thin, and our love will continue to flow as long as we're together~"

He carefully clipped the necklace around Lucas' neck, and brought him into a hug.

"I know my gifts aren't much, but I still hoped that you would like them...~"

Jungwoo quietly mumbled.

"Are you kidding me?! I love them, and I love you!"

Lucas immediately confessed, making Jungwoo look at him.

"Yay~, you said it~!"

I cheered.

It was then that Lucas had realized what he had just blurted out.

"Ah... I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean it-. I-I mean I did mean it! B-But, I don't mean to make you uncomfortable... I know this is all happening so fast and-"

Before Lucas could mutter anything else, Jungwoo gently held his face and kissed him.

Because of the kiss being so sudden, added on to Lucas' shock, small spikes abruptly protruded from both of his shoulders.

Jungwoo broke the kiss before Lucas could respond, and just hugged him again. Lucas was able to respond this time, and immediately deepened the hug.

I smiled to myself, glad that I was able to help them get this far in their friendship, and now, their relationship.

It was almost inaudible, but Jungwoo muttered one final thing before I decided to leave and give them some privacy.

"I love you too Yukhei~"
