I locked myself in my room after I ran out of Chenle's room.

The others ran after me, but I reached my room before they could catch me. I completely covered myself with my blanket, even though there was no one to hide from.

Except, myself....

"Hyung! Please open up..."

Donghyuck pleaded, knocking on my door.

I didn't answer him.

"Hyung! Just because your father was a-"

"Don't say it!"

I shouted at Jisung.

I don't want anyone putting those words together.

"Renjunie, just because he was, doesn't necessarily make you or him a bad person!"

Mark exclaimed, to which I ignored.

"Yeah! I actually think it's really cool that you have the best of both worlds!"

"Me too!"

Jeno and Jaemin cheered, to which I also ignored.

"That's true! You even saved us on your first mission! That proves that-"

"And I could've turned on all of you two months ago! What about that huh?!"

They all went silent.

I know they saw my point.

I assumed they were gone, so I uncovered my head, and just stared at the ceiling.

But they all just suddenly popped up in the room, causing me to sit up and scream in horror. I was going to ask how they got here, but I remembered Jaemin can teleport.

"Why are you-"

"Renjun, sweetie, listen to me..."

Taeyong cut me off, holding my face in his hands.

"Your father was no ordinary demon. It's true that he had a pretty high ranking in the underworld, but he didn't want to be like the other demons. He wanted to do good for others, and meeting your mother only fueled his passion..."

Everyone gathered around with interest about my parents.

"How...did they meet?"

Golly. I feel like a normal kid asking their parents how they met.

I...kinda like that feeling.

"As you all know, there has always been a war between the heavens and the underworld. Ever since good and evil became known, there's always been a war between them. There were annual wars that they would have in between the two realms, which is on Earth. But, your mother and your father were part of the reason why the wars ceased"

"How come?!"

We all asked with complete interest.

"It was a war much like any other. Both of your parents had no choice but to fight. They were both admirals of their armies. Their commanders, the overseers of the armies, forced them to fight. But, as if by destiny, those two were pinned up with each other. And as if they could read each other's minds, they sensed that neither of them wanted to fight. They didn't fall in love then though, they just went their separate ways. But, that didn't mean that they didn't think about each other"

"What happened next?!"

"Well, you know how some angels are called fallen angels? She was the reason why we call then that now. Your father apparently ran away from the underworld. He wanted to live a normal life and do good for others. His first stop happened to be on Earth. And apparently, your mother was kicked out of heaven, and that's how she became the fallen angel she was. She literally fell in front of your father. That was when they fell in love."

"And then?!"

"They soon realized that living on Earth together wasn't such a good idea, since the supernatural wasn't really accepted there. So, they searched for a new place to live, and they found Ethora. I was around the early adult ages for a god, when I properly got to meet them"

"YoU kNeW tHeM aLrEaDy?¡"

"Well, somewhat. When my parents were still alive, those two were considered lovesick legends. So we used to 'watch' them from time to time. So when I finally met them, we hung out a lot. They were really cool. Your father even got to do good for the people here, along with me and your mother. But, it wasn't until your mother got pregnant that things started to change. Your mother and father soon fell gravely ill as time got closer to the day of delivery. And on that delivery day, a few hours after you were born, the two of them died"

"But why did they die?"

Jeno asked, looking very perplexed.

"I honestly don't know myself. I guess it might've been a law in their realms, that an angel and a demon couldn't love each other so much, that one of them would conceive. So, I guess as a sort of punishment, both end up dying if the child isn't killed. But they requested me to take care of you Renjun. I was the only one they trusted to keep you safe. And, I guess they knew that I would truly love you as much as I do now, regardless if you're half of both worlds"

He explained, giving me a hug.

"I know you must be hungry, so how about I make you all some hot pot. And we can all watch a movie while we eat~"

"Will it have beef?!"

I asked with great excitement.

"Of course little one~"

After Taeyong made everyone's hot pot, we all gathered in the theater room and started to watch the One Piece Film: Gold. We've already seen Z in the past, but we haven't seen this one yet.

It's gonna be so good~.

"Hey guys..."

"Yeah?"

"Sorry about my actions lately... I tried my best not to cause any trouble, but it happened anyway..."

"It's no problem at all~! We know that all of this is new for you. And don't worry about me. My back is fine~, because I'm-"

"Absolutely fully capable. We know"

Donghyuck teased, slapping the back of Mark's head.

"You make me so mad..."

"I know~. You love me though~"

"Sometimes I wish I didn't..."

"Aish! Shut up! The movie's starting!"

Jeno insisted with annoyance.

The movie was great, and everyone was happy~.

That's all I really want anyway, for them to be happy. And if me being happy makes them happy, then I'll do my best to stay happy for them.

It's been a while since I've taken a shower, so I decided now would be the perfect time. I stayed longer than the others since I missed the feeling of hot water, a lot.

After I finished, I wrapped my towel around my waist and made my way towards the exit. I stopped after I heard loud screams in the distance. I figured it was Chenle since no one else can scream that loud, or at that pitch.

Either way, I ignored it and made my way to my room.

"Hey hyung..."

Chenle came walking with me to my room, looking quite spooked. 

Looks like I was right.

"What's wrong Lele?"

"C-Can I sleep with you tonight...?"

"Of course you can, but why?"

"There's a huge spider in my room..."

"Makes sense. Follow me~"

"Hey hyung. Are you still upset about earlier?"

Chenle asked out of the blue.

"No, not really. Why?"

"I just don't like seeing you upset..."

"Don't worry, I'm fine~. I'll get used to it in no time, I promise~"

"Yay~, because I really miss seeing you in pure happiness hyung~"

"Starting tomorrow, it'll be the start of me being completely happy~"

I cooed petting his head, to which he cutely purred in response.

"Great! Well, goodnight hyung~"

He cheered, snuggling close to me under the covers.

"Goodnight Lele~"
