I'm definitely worried about what happened to the others, but I can't focus on them right now.

Jaemin, Jeno, Vexxen, and I have been teleported to a different room, facing off against none other than Syndell, coincidentally.

"I'll just stand somewhere safe. I don't want to get in the way of the fight"

Vexxen quickly ran off farther away in the room, ensuring that he wouldn't get hurt during our fight.

"Long time no see you three"

Syndell stated.

"It hasn't even been that long. Anyway, we don't want to fight you Syndell"

"That's just too bad Jeno, because I don't care what any of you want"

"Syndell... Why would you do this to us...? Did all of that time we spent together mean nothing to you...? I really thought that we were all friends..."

Jaemin looked really sad.

"...Y-You actually considered me as your friend?"

Syndell suddenly stuttered, confusing all of us, including himself.

...I get it!

"Guys, it's the mask. We have to find a way to destroy his mask. The real Syndell is still in there. We just have to free him from Xander's control"

I whispered to them, earning nods from them.

"And just what are you assholes mumbling about?"

Syndell suddenly hissed.

"You'll see soon enough Syndell. Let's just get this over with"

Jeno scoffed.

"Agreed. I'll end this quickly"

Syndell then made a Toxic Spear from one of his bubbles, and immediately attacked Jaemin first.

It thankfully had no effect on Jaemin though.

He hardened himself up in time, and the spear was unable to pierce his skin. The hardness off his skin made it shatter against him.

Jeno didn't take long to bring out his Buster Sword and attacked Syndell. However, Syndell acted in time and their weapons clashed.

Jaemin brought out his keyblade, and they both double teamed against Syndell. While they fought, I eventually thought of a plan and turned invisible.

Syndell retreated from Jeno and Jaemin a bit and launched bubbles at them, but I quickly launched a volley of crystal shards at all of them and destroyed them.

I think in that moment, Syndell noticed that I was missing. He looked around for me, but couldn't find me. He then decided to split himself up into three more versions of himself!

"You never told us you could replicate yourself!"

Jaemin exclaimed.

"Why would I?"

He sent the first two replicas to fight Jeno and Jaemin, while the third tried to find me.

I went stealthy and shapeshifted into a huge White Lipped Python, quietly slithering up the wall.

I jumped off the wall and wrapped myself around the clone that was looking for me. I then quickly flicked the mask off with my tail. and the clone vanished.

One down, two to go.

I quickly shapeshifted into a tiny tarantula and crawled towards Jaemin.

I crawled up his body and stopped on his shoulder. Luckily, he didn't flinch when I did.

"Hyung, when he comes in to attack you again, jump back so I can get him"

I whispered to him, and he nodded enough for me to see.

After he jumped back from the replica's attack, I jumped off of Jaemin's shoulder and turned back to normal. While in midair, I removed the mask from the replica, and it too disappeared.

One more to go~.

I finally shapeshifted into a chameleon and got back on Jaemin's shoulder.

We both then made our way over to Jeno to help him out.

When we got close enough, I launched a crystal shard at the replica and it knocked the mask right off of it, making it disappear too.

"Found you"

Unfortunately, Syndell located me from that attack, and launched a bubble at both of us.

Jaemin slid on the ground so it wouldn't hit him, and I used my chameleon tongue to latch onto a nearby statue, and propel myself out of the bubble's way.

I quickly changed back to attack Syndell, but he found me and impaled me with the other side of the spear, bringing me to the ground.

"H-How the hell...?"

I questioned, as I unwillingly turned back to being visible.

"I felt the breeze of you going by. It wasn't that hard to find you. Those replicas were just a decoy. They were meant to distract the other two, so that I would have no problem figuring out your tactics and finding you. And of course, you fell for it"

Syndell smiled menacingly, pulling the spear out of me.

"Chenle!"

"Are you ok?!"

Jeno and Jaemin both came to check on me.

"I think so..., but...my head hurts..."

My head really hurts ever since Syndell pierced me with his spear.

I wonder what he did...

When I raised my hand up to my head, I noticed that there was a red aura around it, and the rest of me.

"Chenle?"

Jaemin raised my chin up to make me look at him, and his expression dropped.

"Chenle... Y-Your eyes are turning red..."

"W-Wha-"

I was cut off by the increasing pain in my head, and stumbled back a bit.

"Wait a minute... Get back!"

Jeno pushed Jaemin back a bit and he backed up, before using his chains to apprehend me.

"Listen to me Chenle. Don't give in. Try to stay in control"

Jeno tried encouraging me, but by the time I realized what was going on, it was too late.

Syndell found a way to put me under his control, and I couldn't stop it...

This is exactly what happened to me, Jeno, and Jisung.

In a matter of seconds, Chenle had been completely possessed by Syndell, and we couldn't stop it...

Chenle began struggling to get out of Jeno's chains, but Jeno was determined to keep him from hurting any of us.

"I'll give you this final explanation. Xander did me a little favor before he assigned me with my mission. He implanted his Mind Control power on the end of the spear that you didn't destroy. It was a backup in case I couldn't poison any of you with the other end that you shattered. However, it would only work once, so now my spear is practically useless. But now, you'll be defeated by your own brother~"

Syndell began laughing.

"Chenle. It's Jaemin. Please snap of out it... You don't want to do this..."

I walked over to Chenle to try and help him fight Xander's power, but he only growled and tried to bite me as he continued struggling.

It was then that Chenle had had enough of struggling and began to crystallize himself. Just like he did when he lost control in our fight...

Jeno's expression dropped when he noticed it too.

"Syndell... Do you have any idea what you've done?!"

"Jeno! The two of you don't just stand there! Put a force field up quickly!"

Vexxen ran out towards us from his hiding place.

He used his power to pull us to him by the fabric of our clothes, leaving Chenle by himself.

Jeno then performed a jutsu to put up a force field, just in the nick of time. Only seconds after he did so, Chenle yelled out in a rage and fired off a barrage of shards from his body, destroying Jeno's chains in the process.

Syndell was able to dodge almost all of them, but some hit him hard. Chenle soon calmed down and collapsed to his knees. He then started changing into the same beast he changed into in our battle.

But, he looked like he was trying to stop himself from changing. However, his animal instincts could cause him to go feral and lose control...

"Chenle! Fight it!"

"You can do it! Don't go feral!"

"You have to power to stop this! Don't let your power own you!"

The three of us encouraged him, to try and help him regain control of himself.

At first, we thought our efforts didn't work because his hands had turned into the paws of the beast. But then, something happened.

He clawed his own self, making all of Xander's power leave his body, freeing him from his possession.

"H-He did it!"

I happily exclaimed.

"Shadow Binding Jutsu!"

Jeno performed another jutsu from inside the force field, and trapped Syndell where he was standing with his shadow.

"Do it Chenle!"

Chenle nodded at Jeno's order.

He clawed Syndell, just like he did to himself, and all the darkness started spilling out of him.

Jeno brought the force field down for me to finish it. I hardened up my fist as I ran up to Syndell, and punched his mask, shattering it.

He then changed back to normal after I broke the mask. He looked exactly the same as when we first met him.

"You guys are really amazing. I never expected that sudden turn of events. He actually freed himself from that awful power"

Vexxen mumbled, carefully picking up the unconscious Syndell.

The three of us ran over to Chenle to make sure he was ok after all of that. He looked like he was on the verge of passing out, but he was still standing, staring blankly at the ground.

"Hey. Chenle. It's Jeno. You're alright. We won"

Jeno softly spoke, trying to snap him out of his daze.

Chenle weakly looked up at him, and just smiled.

"I..... I wouldn't let Syndell win a second time....~. Not a chance......."

He passed out after saying that, but Jeno thankfully caught him.

We all carefully made our way back to the ship to get Syndell and Chenle the help they needed.

10 Minutes Later

It pained us to leave the ship after seeing the state of most of our teammates, but Jeno and I were determined to help Renjun in some way.

Once we got back in the castle, we conveniently met up with Taeyong, with Lucas and Jungwoo in their regalia forms, Mark, Luoyang, Johnny, and Jaehyun.

"I'm so glad to see that you two are alright"

Mark smiled, hugging us both.

"It's nice to see you too hyung. But a lot of our teammates are out of commission, and we still have to find Renjun"

Jeno worriedly stated.

"None of us fought against Seifer, so it's now confirmed that Renjun is fighting him"

"And after much thought, I've figured out that Enzo, Donghyuck, and Jisung are there with him, but I know they're having a really hard time"

Taeyong and Johnny informed us.

"How are we supposed to find them?!"

Luoyang panicked.

'Hello?! Can any of you hear me?! If any of you are still in the castle, please say something!'

That's Jisung!

'Jisung! We're here! It's Jeno, Jaemin, Taeyong, Lucas, Jungwoo, Luoyang, Mark, Johnny, and Jaehyun! We all won our battles, but a lot of the others are hurt! Tell us what's going on!'

Jaehyun responded back.

'Thank goodness! Things are getting rough over here! Neither me or Enzo can fight anymore, and Donghyuck-hyung isn't going to last much longer on his own! Renjun-hyung needs more help if he's going to defeat Seifer!'

Jisung sounded very scared and worried for them.

Things are getting really serious now.

'How can we help Jisung?! We have to find the room you're in first!'

Taeyong asked, panicking as well.

'I think Johnny-hyung should be able to find us if he uses his Earphone Jacks! If you continuously use them while you're running around looking for us, you'll be able to find us!'

'I'm on it!'

Johnny ordered us to follow him.

We all began running and followed Johnny in the directions where he heard the fight. Jisung continued to give us updates on Donghyuck's and Renjun's conditions as we ran.

Apparently, Donghyuck isn't doing so good and is about to overheat himself. Which means, if he does overheat, he'll die...

'We're almost there! I can hear you guys more clearly now!'

Johnny informed.

'Please hurry! It feels like Donghyuck-hyung is dying, and Renjun-hyung can't help him and fight Seifer at the same time! P-Please get here s-soon!'

Jisung sounded like he was about to start crying...

"He won't...., lay a hand on him!"

Mark's hair turned white again and he suddenly transformed again, just like in his fight with Jeno.

"Straight ahead! The room is straight ahead!"

Johnny exclaimed.

Mark's expression suddenly got even angrier, and he sped up by a lot, running past Johnny.

If anything happens to any of them, especially Donghyuck, Mark just might kill Seifer.

'D-Donghyuck-hyung is d-down! H-He can't breathe! P-PLEASE GET HERE N-NOW!!!'

Jisung pleaded, crying hard on his end.

Hearing Jisung cry was the last straw for all of us, and we ran even faster.

"TAEYONG-HYUNG!! THROW ME!!"

Mark yelled as we neared even closer to the door.

Taeyong wasted no time and picked up Mark. He uses his Jet power to increase his speed, and run far past all of us.

Mark shot ice at the door, freezing it completely, and Johnny fired a bolt at the door, destroying it.

"NOW HYUNG!!"

Jaehyun yelled, and Taeyong threw Mark, launching him at top speeds.

He burst into the room, right as Seifer was about to put an end to Donghyuck and Renjun.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY BROTHERS!!!"
