Xander snapped his fingers, and in the blink of an eye, I was in another room and he disappeared.

Before I could ask Renjun about what Xander just did, I got my answer right away.

He separated our team and teleported us to different locations...

"It's alright. They're all still in the castle. We're all on different floors though"

Johnny informed, plugging his earphone jacks into the floor and wall.

"That's a relief..."

I smiled knowing the others were still nearby.

Ten, Johnny, Eunji, and I will have to make due on our own until we can find a way out of here.

"Hold on a minute. We have company"

Ten alerted us.

Ahead of us was a mysterious figure wearing a mask.

He must be one of Xander's pupils.

His mask read the word "Cane".

That must be his name.

"I suppose you're not gonna let us just slip out of here unscathed right? I assume you'll try to kill us before we get the chance to, correct?"

Ten interrogated.

I see what he's doing.

He's trying to get him to respond to him so he can brainwash him.

But the only response he got was Cane inspecting his nails.

"Is he really ignoring me?!"

Ten angrily questioned.

He seemed offended and confused, but I found it a little funny.

"Hold it. He must be incapable of speech. Don't go losing your temper so quickly Chittaphon"

Johnny informed him, calming him down.

He then immediately noticed the kunais around his waist, and immediately used his Black Hole ability to take them away from him.

Cane started panicking and running around spouting random nonsense. None of us could understand him.

"Is he alright???"

Eunji questioned.

"Doesn't matter to me. He's open"

I aimed my gun and shot at him, but surprisingly, he actually dodged my bullets.

No ones ever dodged my bullets before.

I kept shooting at him, but every time, he dodged.

"What's going on???!"

I began to panic, but I then thought of something.

I switched up how I used my bullets and shot them at the wall. They ricocheted off the walls and finally hit him.

"Great job Doyoung-oppa~!"

Eunji praised, making me smile.

But now, something seems off about Cane.

His entire demeanor changed and he just stared at us while bending down, touching the ground.

Though we were all confused, Johnny shot a bolt of electricity at him, but he dodged it and came bolting towards me.

I touched the ground in front of me to use my Overhaul to propel most of the ground at him, but as soon as it started working, it just stopped.

I tried harder to make the ground continue to move, but nothing happened?!

"He must have a cancellation power! The only one I can think of that fits this situation is Lock Down!"

Johnny informed.

Lock Down is a power a little similar to my Erasure ability. While I can look into someone's eyes to cancel out their power, Lock Down lets its user lock anything into place.

If Lock Down is one of Cane's powers, that's probably why my Overhual stopped working.

He touched the ground before, and that in turn allowed him to lock the ground in place right as I started manipulating it!

Ten and Johnny quickly moved to opposite sides of the room to attack.

Johnny tried electrocuting him again, and Ten tried using Chittaphrr to grab him, but Cane dodged both attacks so fast that both of their powers fazed through his afterimage!

Chittaphrr and Ten ended up getting electrocuted by accident...

While I started back shooting at him again, Eunji quickly used her chains to try and apprehend Cane from where she was, while Johnny went to help Ten.

But Cane suddenly disappeared out of thin air!

"His other power must be Instant Transmission!"

Johnny informed once more.

I abruptly felt a breeze behind me, along with a silent chuckle.

At that moment, I knew it was Cane behind me.

I quickly turned around, but before I could find his eyes to cancel out his power, he hit me with an energy orb that sent me flying back into a nearby pillar.

"Doyoung! Are you alright?!"

Ten yelled, finally recovering from being electrocuted.

"I-I'm good!"

I responded, getting back up.

I pulled out my gun again to attack him, but something about my body suddenly felt...., off?

I feel a sharp pain all over me, and my body feels numb, but it also feels like as if it's on fire??

What did Cane do to me...??

Doyoung suddenly dropped his gun instead of firing at Cane.

He stumbled on his feet and held his head as if it was hurting him like crazy.

Then I noticed something that raised a lot of red flags.

"Guys! His body is shrinking!"

I alarmed them, as I ran over to him.

Eunji and Ten followed soon after, and we frantically tried to figure out what was wrong with him.

It only scared us more when we couldn't find anything. He looked very scared and tried to say something, but no words or sounds were slipping out.

Doyoung's eyes soon rolled back into his head and he passed out, but I caught him as he fell back.

There was nothing we could do as his body continued to shrink. A bright light soon engulfed his entire body, making us avert our eyes from how bright it was.

Even though I couldn't see, I felt Doyoung's body becoming smaller, and I became alarmed when I felt very soft fur against my arms.

The light soon disappeared and we all opened our eyes, only to find that Doyoung had turned into a small bunny!

"D-Doyoung...???!!"

I fearfully panicked.

"What the hell...?!"

Eunji panicked.

"What the fuck did he do to Doyoung?!"

Ten questioned in a panic.

"This power... There's no doubt about it. Cane's third power is Animal... He has the ability to turn anyone into any type of animal. That orb that hit Doyoung... That must be what did it..."

I explained, holding onto him for dear life.

I gently shook Doyoung and constantly called out his name to wake him up, but we got no response.

The only sound that could be heard in the now deathly silent room was the sound of Cane giggling and laughing nearby.

"...That tears it. He's gonna pay, and he's gonna pay with blood"

Ten suddenly got up in a rage to attack him, no matter how much we protested.

He angrily summoned Chittaphrr to attack him.

However, every time he attacked, Cane dodged with ease, making Ten angrier. Ten was so consumed by his anger that he lost sight of Cane, and he landed a blow on him.

Ten was knocked over, but slowly got up.  It wasn't until he wiped his lip and saw his own blood on his hand that he finally snapped.

You could see the darkness radiating off of him as he grew more powerful, but that soon backfired.

Not only did Chittapfrr become stronger, but he began to grow in size. Soon, Ten had no control over him and his body was engulfed within Chittaphrr.

Chittaphrr continued to grow larger and more powerful, and soon spiraled out of control.

Cane attacked him, gaining Chittaphrr's attention. However, Chittaphrr grabbed him and completely ripped his body in two.

He threw away both halves of his body, and Cane bled out before vanishing into dust.

But despite how many times Ten commanded him to stop, Chittaphrr was still on an uncontrollable rampage, and began destroying everything around him.

I got a glimpse of Ten's face, and noticed that he had started crying, adding on to the screams of pain that left him.

Not only that, Chittaphrr was engulfing more of his body as he continued his actions. If we don't find a way to stop him, Chittaphrr could end up absorbing him completely, and will eventually end up killing Ten unintentionally...

"Johnny-oppa! I think I know how we can help Ten-oppa!"

Eunji exclaimed.

"How???"

I inquired, carefully getting up while still holding Doyoung.

"I can distract Chittaphrr with my chains and surround him with them. Then you'll be able to electrify the chains to surround him with the light from your bolts. That light should be enough to weaken Chittaphrr and make him retreat back into Ten-oppa"

I nodded, and she immediately went to work.

She summoned three different chains and manipulated two them to surround Chittaphrr. Luckily, he was too blind with rage and destruction to notice her.

The other chain acted as a distraction. She purposely moved the chain in front of Chittaphrr so he could hit it.

As soon as he felt it, he grabbed onto it and tried breaking it apart. Luckily, the chain was long enough to reach the other two, so my bolt would have a way to travel to shock him a bit.

I immediately used my free hand to shoot a bolt at one of the chains, electrifying them. The current traveled all the way to the chain Chittaphrr was holding. It shocked him and thankfully immobilized him.

The current continued to circulate through the chains, and as the bolts multiplied, the light from them became overwhelming.

Chittaphrr tried to hide himself from the light, but couldn't move his body at all. He soon grew weaker and shrunk back to normal and retreated back into Ten, and Eunji made her chains disappear.

But because of all the pressure put on his body, Ten passed out and collapsed.

"Oppa, we should take them back to the ship"

Eunji informed me, gently picking him up.

We may have won this fight, but... We couldn't prevent what happened to Doyoung and Ten.

Regardless, I agreed and we cautiously retreated back to the ship

5 Minutes Later

Eunji rested Ten on one of the beds and I gently laid Doyoung on his chest.

Yoonho was still sleeping from when Jaemin brought him back here, thankfully.

"Eunji. Stay here and watch them with Ariana, Genesis, and Kai. I'm leaving to go find and help Renjun"

"By yourself?! No way! I wanna help too!"

"No. Renjun and his group are most likely battling Seifer. Knowing that he's Xander's brother, and his right hand man, he's gotta he giving them a hard time. I can't let anything happen to you. And besides, Taeyong would likely lose it if something happened to you. You'll be a big help staying here for now"

I insisted.

"...Fine. Good luck oppa"

She wished me well and brought me into a tight hug.

I comforted her before quickly leaving the ship. Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with some of the others too on the way.

If I do, we have to find Renjun and his group fast, before it's too late.
