I watch twilight setting in

The shadows stretching longer

There's a song in my heart

Still unsung

But my voice isn't getting any stronger

So I croon softly, in whispers...

I know the trees here listen

But don't comprehend

Perhaps, the wind will be kind

And carry my words far

To waiting skies that understand

And maybe, they'll even sing back to me

Melodies of magical worlds

Maybe, I'll still have my symphony
