____★Arceus★___

In the vast world of Pokémon, Legendary and Mythical Pokémon have always been great question marks. What are their powers? What are their stories? And what secrets are they hiding from us? These things have always been a mystery.

Instead of needing to connect with gods or requiring noble lineage, you can now get the answers to these long-standing questions, only now they are no longer noble gods...

"Ugh..."

A man with long, white hair spread across the cold concrete floor slowly opened his eyes, stirring slightly with difficulty as he adjusted to this completely unfamiliar body. He tried to prop himself up but failed, he was too exhausted to truly continue, only able to look around before gazing up at the blue sky.

"Um..."

He reached out, reaching for the sky above, where he had once stood level with it, now so vast and boundless...Taking a deep breath, he propped himself up on the ground again to support his real flesh and blood body, groaning for a while before finally managing to sit up.

"Damn it...Where am I?"

Looking around once more, on both sides were worn brick walls with scribbled graffiti, and beneath his feet was a white concrete surface stained with trash from a nearby bin. Besides the Hall of Origins and the Temple of Sinnoh, he didn't even know what the place he was in was called.

"Oh ugh, it smells too awful..."

He hastily covered his nose, staggering to his feet, using one hand to block the foul stench while the other leaned against the wall to support his trembling body. As a legendary Pokémon, walking was natural for him, but this was the first time he had actually lived in a human body, and it was a bit overwhelming.

"Huh?...AHHHH!"

Startled, he fell back to the ground. A small Trubbish emerged from an old trash can. His initial shock turned into utter panic, this was truly a humiliation for the creator of this world like him! Having just fallen and been terrified by a Trubbish! he didn't know where to hide, barely able to stand.

Despite sitting on the damp, filthy concrete floor, he was too embarrassed to get up, covering his flushed face with his trembling hands. After sitting there dazed for a while, he felt something tickling under his feet. Looking up, he saw the Trubbish that had just scared him standing there, its face stammering with repentance.

"You...You..."

He sighed, leaning against the wall and staggering to his feet. His heart pounded from the earlier scare. He was truly exhausted, his face pale and lifeless. Yes... it was quite ironic that the illustrious Arceus was now clinging to the wall like an Ariados to get out of a narrow alley.
The Trubbish from earlier was also clinging to him, trying to apologize by hugging his legs to "help him move more easily," even though it only made his legs heavier.

"Hey- can you let go of my leg?..."

Recognizing the annoyance in Arceus's voice, the little Pokémon quickly let go, lowering its head sadly. But this was the first time he'd seen his creation...so adorable! What was that face?! Don't think that using Baby-doll Eyes would be effective on him...it was super effective!

"Tch-...Alright, you can follow me, but don't cling on me..."

Trubbish, hearing this, cheered up and continued to follow him. After some maneuvering, they finally made it out of the foul-smelling alley. Arceus was getting used to walking on human feet and was less unsteady on his feet.

Still reeling from his fall, he was startled by the bustling crowd outside. The people were normal to him...but what he feared was falling down again. He didn't want to waste another two hours getting up with thousands of eyes staring at him!

Arceus reluctantly released his grip on the worn brick wall and stepped out onto the main road. He had barely regained his balance when he felt something heavy on his shoulder - it was none other than Trubbish from earlier, clinging tightly to him, afraid of getting lost. His legs nearly gave way under the weight, but he managed to regain his balance just in time before crashing face-first onto the cobblestone street below.

Just when he thought the ordeal of walking was over, a new one arose. Thanks to Trubbish's foul smell and his white clothes stained yellow from the alley, he stood out from the crowd. His white hair also fluttered in the wind, despite the scorching heat outside. At least they moved out of his way, but the fact that they stared at him, whispered to each other, and called him "The-Beggar-with-Strange-Hair" was truly unbearable.

Shut up, insolent mortals!

Arceus muttered to himself, but didn't dare say it aloud for fear of having "Crazy" added to his name. He wanted to run, but running would only mean hitting his face against the road, he really just wanted to dig down deep into the ground to escape this godforsaken place.

He stomped out of the crowd with trembling legs, Trubbish still sitting obediently on his shoulder, his sense of smell dulled by exhaustion despite the terrible stench.

"Hey, do you know anywhere to rest?... I don't want to take another step!"

Trubbish pondered for a moment, then shook its head. Having lived its whole life in a trash can, that was the best place for it, but perhaps this arrogant god would never agree to stay there.

Besides exhaustion clouding his sense of smell, it had probably clouded Arceus's vision as well. He rushed headlong without looking, letting his intuition guide him-a huge mistake-as he plunged straight into the nearby forest. He trudged along, only realizing he had gone too far when it was too late. A ferocious Scolipede lunged out from the bushes and aimed straight at him. Trubbish sensing the danger, jumped in to shield him.

Although Trubbish was hit so hard that even Arceus was startled awake, the Scolipede continued its attack, but Trubbish managed to use Stench, causing it to panic in a cloud of poisonous purple smoke. However, this didn't scare it away; it only made it angrier, even more disoriented, and it charged forward again.

Arceus rushed forward, clutching Trubbish tightly and rolling out of the berserk Pokémon's sight. He didn't know why he did it, but his intuition compelled him to. He tumbled across the grass, his hand still clutching the walking trash bag. Gritting his teeth, enduring the pain of hitting his head against the rocks in his mutilated body, he struggled to sit up despite the excruciating pain throughout his body. Scolipede, not wanting to miss the opportunity, unleashed a massive Gunk Shot.

However, the remaining energy within Arceus erupted, emitting a massive shockwave that terrified the Pokémon, causing it to flee. Arceus, using his last remaining strength, managed to stand up and run for help. But because his body was so weak and he was so exhausted, he fainted before he could even find anyone. He collapsed onto the ground, his face pale, his hands still clutching his injured Trubbish.

....

"Uhm..."
Arceus slowly opened his eyes. Around him was a white light mixed with a hint of blue. This light was different from the light he usually saw, but the scent here was so pleasant...a truly soothing, sweet, and comforting fragrance. His eyes slowly closed again. He didn't know where he was, but the surface he was lying on was incredibly soft, unlike concrete or the grass in the forest.

"You're awake? Do you still feel any pain anywhere?"

A gentle voice pulled him back to reality, his eyes opening again. Before him now stood a young woman in a flowing, pale pink dress. Looking up, he saw her kind face.

"You look quite confused. I'm Nurse Joy. I found you unconscious in the street and brought you to the Pokémon Center"

Nurse Joy?... So, this is where people come when they're injured? Arceus propped himself up on the bench, his back still aching from the fall, causing him to groan slightly.

"Don't sit up yet! If you're still tired, don't force yourself... Oh, by the way, your Trubbish has recovered completely"

~Ding Dong~

The doorbell of the clinic opened. Wigglytuff slowly pushed the examination bed, with Trubbish lying comfortably on it. As soon as it saw Arceus sitting nearby, it excitedly ran towards him. Honestly, He doesn't know why he cares so much about it. It snuggled contentedly into his arms, and without hesitation, he reached down and stroked its head.

"But I have a question." The nurse raised her hand to her chin, her face showing clear curiosity.

"Huh?..."

"If Trubbish is your Pokémon, then why don't you have any Pokéballs?..."

Hearing that, he was startled, completely at a loss for how to answer logically. A middle-aged man without even a Pokéball was clearly very strange. He used every brain cell to think of an explanation.

"A-actually... I used to hate Pokémon... but after Trubbish saved me, I-I wanted to adopt it..."

Arceus struggled to speak, sweat dripping down his slightly tanned face, looking up at Nurse Joy - who was also sweating with confusion.

"That's quite rare... Trubbish usually only lives near towns or cities... But I guess it ran off to the edge of the forest on its own?"

He nodded, clearly trying to conceal what had really happened earlier, please making the attack by Scolipede at the edge of the forest the beginning of the story!

"Hmm, you don't seem very good at talking, but would you like to capture this Trubbish?"

"I do...I think it want too" He looked down at his lap, seeing the Pokémon still lying there enjoying each stroke.

"Well, I can give you some Pokéballs. You should have gotten them from the lab, but luckily we still have some spares, and I think there's enough for you"

"T-thank you so much, Nurse Joy..."

This feeling was strange... he rarely received such kindness from any mortal. They usually only came to him to ask him to do harmful things, to the point where he was fed up and surprised that someone was treating him this well.

He stood up again, his right hand supporting his back which could break at any moment, his other arm cradling Trubbish as he walked towards the counter. Wigglytuff took a tray containing a belt with brand-new Pokéballs and handed it to him.

"Wiggly!"

"Oh...thank you, little one" Arceus took the belt, carefully fastening it around his waist. Trubbish watched him put it on, both happy and curious.

"Now, all you have to do is press the Pokéball button on Trubbish and you can capture him!"

Arceus picked up a Pokéball, his heart a little racing as this was his first time capturing a Pokémon. It felt strange, though, since he was once a Pokémon himself, but he was now a human, so this was understandable.

Looking up at Trubbish, who stood at the counter with a beaming face, his heart melted slightly. He gently placed the Pokéball on its head. A light flashed, and the Pokémon vanished into the ball, vibrating in his hand.

The Pokéball clicked, a faint platinum gleam appearing through the cracks, announcing that Trubbish was now his Pokémon. His emotions were a jumble of conflicting feelings: a strange joy, a chilling excitement, and a personal sense of satisfaction.

"Congratulations! Trubbish now has an owner! Actually, very few people would dare adopt that Pokémon, you must be very special!" Nurse Joy happily clapped her hands in congratulations.

"Hmm..." He stared at the Poké Ball containing Trubbish, gently pressed it against his cheek, and then reattached it to the belt around his waist.

"It's late now, you can stay at the Pokémon Center overnight! The next day you can go to the professor's lab to get your Pokedex and begin your journey!"

Arceus silently pondered. Human life wasn't as boring as he thought; perhaps there were even more things to do than what he had done as a Pokémon. Nodding slightly, he walked towards the nearby bench and immediately fell asleep again. Nurse Joy could only chuckle at this man who seemed to have almost no basic knowledge of Pokémon, yet actually understood everything. His journey continued into tomorrow...
