HANNI squealed in excitement as she quickly rushed to hug Eunhee, who was approaching her. "Eun, we're graduated! Oh my god!" Hanni gasped, hugging the girl tightly as she rested her head on her shoulder.
"I know, I know!" Eunhee laughed, giving her friend a soft squeeze before pulling away with a soft smile at her lips.
"Oh my god, we're literally getting so old.. I'm so sad, but happy at the same time." Hanni pouted, earning a hum in agreement from Eunhee.
"Hey, at least we'll grow old together, right?" She tilted her head, looking at the bright side of things. Hanni nodded her head quickly.
"Oh, of course. Like Minji said, you can never get rid of me. I'll be at your side even when we're like, ninety-two years old." Hanni scoffed, smiling from ear to ear.
"Ninety-two? Are you sure we won't be in the grave by then?" Eunhee quirked a brow, watching as Hanni stifled a laugh.
"Well.. if we are, we'll be in our graves together. I'll be buried right next to you. Not even death could do us part." Hanni smirked, making a small heart with her hands.
"Why does it feel like you're saying your wedding vows to me right now?" Eunhee snorted.
"What if I am?"
"I'll literally say I do, bro.. don't even play with me right now. Anyone who passes up the option to marry you is insane." Eunhee rolled her eyes playfully.
"Honestly, we'd be a power couple, let's be for real.." Hanni hummed, earning a quick nod from Eunhee.
"So true."
Hanni chuckled, shaking her head with a smile. "Well, anyways, I should get going. I'm pretty sure my mom is waiting for me.. we're going out to eat with the rest of my family." Hanni said, watching as a frown tugged at Eunhee's lips.
"Awh.. alright. Say hi to your family for me, alright?" Eunhee tilted her head.
"Of course. They're all literally obsessed with you, bro. Especially my mom, she loves you. I'm almost positive you're her favorite out of all of my friends." Hanni giggled.
"I feel so honored right now." Eunhee muttered out, pouting as she placed a hand over her heart.
Hanni smiled, giving the girl a quick hug. "I'll text you later, alright?"
The girl let out a small hum. "Okayy. Have fun, and be safe!"
"I will! Bye, Eun!" Hanni waved as she began to walk away. Eunhee let out a small sigh, a vague smile still on her lips as she wandered back to where she had left Ni-Ki.
_____
Currently, Eunhee lays her head on Ni-Ki's shoulder, eyes closed as she attempts to get rest. She guessed her sleepiness was only just kicking in, as she struggled to stay awake, falling in and out of sleep.
All of the noises around her were muffled, as she was barely conscious. The only thing keeping her awake was the repetitive cheers and clapping from the audience, which startled her from her sleep every time.
Ni-Ki gently shook the girl awake, as she let out a small hum in confusion, sitting up straight.
"Huh?"
Ni-Ki sighed, shaking his head at the girl.
"See, I told you staying up late is bad for you.. look at you, you're barely even awake right now." He frowned, poking her cheek with his finger.
Eunhee grumbled, pushing his hand away. "I'm literally awake, Ni-Ki. I'm fine." She muttered out.
"I-- whatever. Come on, let's go." Ni-Ki spoke, standing up from his seat as he extended his hand out for her to take.
Eunhee grabbed onto his hand, being pulled up from her seat by the younger boy. "Why? Where are we going? Are we leaving?" She questioned, confusion rushing over her.
Ni-Ki shook his head. "No, no. We're going to see the others."
"I thought you didn't want to see them? Isn't that like, the whole reason I stayed?" Eunhee furrowed her brows.
".. it's complicated. Just, follow me, okay?" He sighed. Eunhee pressed her lips together, nodding her head slowly as she followed him through the crowds of people.
Eventually, the two came into view of the five boys standing together, each too immersed in their own conversations to notice both her and Ni-Ki approaching.
That was until Ni-Ki spoke up, of course.
"Hey, guys." He greeted, catching their attention.
"Ni-Ki! There you are.. I honestly thought you left. Also, Eunhee, you're still here? I thought you were leaving, too." Jake spoke, tilting his head in confusion.
Eunhee yawned, rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes before letting out a small hum.
"I was. But, Ni-Ki made me stay.. something about getting into an argument with you guys.. I don't know." She muttered.
"Argument?" Heeseung furrowed his brows, looking towards Ni-Ki in confusion. The youngest nudged him slightly, muttering out "go along with it, I'll explain later." Into his ear.
"..ahh, that argument. I nearly forgot, to be honest.. Ni-Ki was upset because we said no to buying him ice cream earlier." Heeseung quickly covered for his own mistake, as Eunhee glared at Ni-Ki.
"Are you serious, Ni-Ki? This was all about some ice cream?"
"I really wanted some, okay?" Ni-Ki defended himself, crossing his arms over his chest. Eunhee sighed, shaking her head at the boy.
"Eunhee, you seem tired." Jay commented, not failing to notice her yawns earlier on in the conversation.
"Yeah--" she began, but was quickly cut off by Ni-Ki.
"She stayed up until four in the morning." Ni-Ki blurted out, earning a nudge from the girl.
"Ni-Ki.." she groaned, frowning.
"Four in the morning?! My god, no wonder you're so tired.." Sunoo gasped.
"What were you even doing up that late, anyways?" Sunghoon asked, raising a brow.
"She--" Ni-Ki started, but Eunhee quickly clasped a hand over his mouth, shaking her head at him.
"Nothing. I was doing nothing. I just couldn't sleep, that's all." She stated calmly, slowly removing her hand from Ni-Ki's mouth as he looked down at her with a pout.
"Hmm.. alright then?" Jake pursed his lips, looking at her confusedly.
"Oh, finally, there he is.. I wonder what took him so long." Jay sighed out, looking behind Eunhee and Ni-Ki, his eyes landing on a certain someone.
