The next day, Eunhee couldn't help but crack a smile as Jungwon waved excitedly at her, as class had finally ended and they could now be with each other.

As the girl made her way towards him, she collided with someone else, causing her to jolt forward slightly and drop her phone, which she held in her right hand. She winced at the loud sound it made as it hit the ground, silently praying it didn't break.

"Sorry!" A voice called out, as she looked up to see Hong Jiwoo staring at her as she backed out of the classroom. Eunhee threw the girl a thumbs up, understanding people could be clumsy sometimes, and accidents happened.

She huffed out a small breath, going to grab her phone when someone else grabbed it for her. "Are you okay, Eunhee?" Jungwon questioned, a frown tugging at his lips as he handed the girl her phone.

Eunhee let out a small hum, taking her phone in her hands. She felt a wave of relief wash over her to find the screen was, in fact, still intact with no cracks whatsoever.

"She could've at least stayed and helped you." Jungwon muttered, as Eunhee shrugged.

"It's fine. Maybe she was in a rush. Either way, it was an accident, and I'm okay." Eunhee spoke, reassuring the boy who pressed his lips together in a thin line.

"Mm.. fine.." he let out, reaching down and taking her hand in his own. After intertwining their fingers together, Jungwon tugged her gently along with him, heading out of the classroom.

"We're doing the project at your place, right?" He tilted his head.

"I mean, we can, yeah.. but if you want to do it somewhere else, I'm fine with that too. I don't really care at all." Eunhee smiled, turning her head away from him in an attempt to hide her flushed face from their intertwined hands.

"Your place it is." Jungwon determined, squeezing her hand lightly. As they got into the school halls, they both paused.

"I'll meet you outside, yeah?" Eunhee quirked a brow, earning a small hum from the boy.

"Yep. I'll see you in a few!" He spoke, letting go of her hand and flashing her a sweet smile before turning and heading in the direction of his own locker.

Eunhee sighed, smiling softly as she turned and began to walk away to her own locker, staring down at her now-empty hand.

After putting her things away in her own locker, she began to walk the familiar halls towards Minji's, where she saw the girl just closing her locker door.

"Hey, Minji." Eunhee greeted the slightly older girl, who jumped at the sound of her voice.

"Woah, you scared me!" Minji groaned, placing a hand over her heart dramatically as she huffed.

Eunhee giggled, rolling her eyes playfully at her friend's dramatics. "I'm assuming Hanni has already left? Or is she just still at her locker..?"

"Nah, she left. Something about having to get home quickly.. I'm pretty sure her relatives came to visit. She said she'll text us later, tho." Minji explained, shrugging her shoulders lightly.

"Ahh, yeah..I think I remember her mentioning something about her relatives flying here a few weeks ago in the group chat or something." Eunhee pointed out.

"Oh, yeah..! Anyways, I'm surprised you aren't with lover boy." The girl teased, earning a small punch to the arm from her friend.

"Ayy, shut up, Kim Minji.. I swear, as soon as you start dating, I won't stop teasing you until I die." Eunhee huffed out, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Okay, okay! I'll stop! But seriously, don't you have to work on the art project?" Minji asked, squinting her eyes slightly.

"Yeah. We're supposed to meet outside soon, actually. But I think I still have some time, hence the fact I came to see you." Eunhee hummed.

"You aren't keeping him waiting, are you?" Minji furrowed her brows.

"To be honest, I don't know." She chuckled, pursing her lips together.

"Choi Eunhee, you idiot.." Minji sighed, shaking her head slightly. "You're lucky I love you."

"Awh, I love you too." Eunhee smiled cheekily, reaching out and hugging the girl tightly. Minji laughed, hugging the girl back before pulling away.

"Okay, seriously tho, we both should probably go.. I have to meet with my partner for the project at her house."

"Yeah, same. Me and Jungwon are going to my apartment to work on it." Eunhee informed, earning a hum from the girl.

"Ugh.. he's lucky. I want to go to your apartment." Minji grumbled, scrunching her nose up slightly.

"You act as if you couldn't just walk into my apartment uninvited anytime you want to, Minji. I literally gave you a key." Eunhee scoffed, earning a snicker.

"Yeah, yeah.. anyways, bye! I'll text you later. You better respond, or else!" Minji threatened, backing away from the girl who nodded her head slowly, raising her hand to wave at her best friend as she walked away.

Eunhee let out a small sigh, turning her head to unexpectedly meet Hong Jiwoo's gaze. Flashing the girl an awkward yet friendly smile, she turned around and began to walk to the exit of the school.

Eventually, she made her way outside, eyes wandering around as she tried to spot Jungwon through the growing crowd of highschool students.

Eventually, her eyes fell upon his figure, a vague smile tugging at her lips as she crept up behind him, before placing her hands on his shoulders abruptly.

The boy jumped, immediately turning his head in her direction. She watched as his expression softened, as he groaned.

"Eunhee..!" He complained, shaking his head as he watched her bite back her smile, failing miserably as she broke out into a small fit of laughter.

"Sorry, sorry. I saw the opportunity and took it." She sighed out.

"I'll get you back one day, just you wait." Jungwon stated, rolling his eyes playfully.

"Mhm, sure, sure. Let's get going, yeah?" She raised a brow, earning a nod from the boy.

Jungwon, once again, grabbed her hand, intertwined their fingers and pulled her figure closer to his. He turned his head, a smirk growing on his lips as he noticed the growing pink color on her cheeks.

"You're blushing." He pointed out.

"Me? No way.. it's just because it's cold outside, that's why. Don't get so ahead of yourself!" Eunhee defended herself.

"Eun.. it's not even that cold.."

"I-- whatever.. I was definitely not blushing. You're seeing things. Maybe you should try getting glasses?" Eunhee suggested.

"I already have glasses." Jungwon muttered, as the girl perked up.

"Really? Me too! Why don't you wear them? I feel like you'd look so cute in them." Eunhee furrowed her brows.

"I'll wear them tomorrow, just for you."

"You're such a flirt, Yang Jungwon." Eunhee rolled her eyes, shaking her head.

"Yeah.. but, only for you." He said, a winsome smile on his lips.

"Ayy.. there you go again." Eunhee let out a breathy laugh.

"What about you? You say you have glasses, but I've never seen you in them."

"I wear them, just not often, you know? Like, I'll wear them around my apartment a lot. But never at school or something." Eunhee explained, earning a hum from the boy.

"You'd one hundred percent look adorable in glasses, I can just see it."

"I can put them on when we get to my apartment, if you really want me to."

The girl slipped off her shoes, shrugging her backpack off of her shoulders as she stepped inside her apartment, with the boy copying her actions.

Eunhee switched on her lights, creating a warm and comforting lighting throughout her apartment.

"Wait, I'll be right back." Eunhee spoke, leaving the boy in her living room as she disappeared into her bedroom.

Soon enough, she returned with a small glasses case in her hand, waving it around slightly in her left hand as she approached the boy.

"See, these are my glasses. Really nothing special." She mumbled, opening the case and staring at the circular glasses that rested inside.

Jungwon hummed, nodding his head as he looked at the glasses. "Can I put them on you?" He asked, earning a nod from the girl who held the case out to him.

He grabbed her glasses, leaning closer towards her as he carefully placed them over her eyes.

Eunhee's breath hitched at their close proximity, cheeks burning with a crimson flame as her eyes flickered between his eyes and his lips.

And she could've sworn she saw him do the same.

happy birthday, yang jungwon!

i'm not really good with sentimental notes and what not, but i truly mean this from the bottom of my heart -- he really did help me a lot through these past few years

i won't go too in depth, but i struggled (and still do) with my mental health a lot and it was kinda hard to find something or someone to make me genuinely feel happy

but eventually as time went on, i fortunately was able to discover enhypen whilst scrolling through tiktok and seeing a clip of en-o'clock

i was interested and searched up en-o'clock on youtube myself, and from that point on, i started to offer support to enhypen

that was probably the best decision i've ever made because i can't explain it, but my heart feels so genuinely happy because of them, and more so, him

so, thank you to yang jungwon, for making me so very happy from the moment i saw him in that short tiktok clip
