Outside of a house. Two men sat in a black van. Inside the van were computers each one filled with binary code.

One man with short cut black hair smiled as he typed through the binary code.

"Could this finally be what I was waiting for?" He asked aloud.

The man was shown to have black rimmed glasses and a huge smirk. He wore a black tux and his eyes never left the computer screen in front of him.

A man who sat next to him frown. He had short green cut hair and hazel eyes. He wore black sunglasses even though it was dark outside. The only light source came from the lamp a block away.

The man did wear a black tux as well.

"Sir, I do need to get back to my world as soon as possible..." He inquired .

The man wearing the glasses look at him angrily. "What is more important than this?" He snapped. "After years of waiting, we might get project Rebirth underway. Don't be a fool like your wife Mr. Glare."

The man grimaced. The thought of how his wife's memory erased flashed in his mind.

He felt terribly sorry for her. She didn't agree with everything in this origination and she payed the price....

Mr. Glare pulled out his phone and noticed he got a text from his brother.

My wife and I are really excited. Julia just said her first words.

Mr. Glare frowned. His wife and him had tried for years to have their own children. But they were not so lucky...

The man with black hair smile grew. "I can’t believe it! The child we have locked on has open a digital gate in our world."

He pressed a few keys on his keyboard. And a image of a red hair girl showed up on the screen.

The girl looked to be only six years old. A digiegg was slowly coming out of her computer screen.

"Pretty" She whispered.

Mr. Glare eyes grew wide. "How could a child open a gate?" He asked in astonishment."

The man with black hair shook his head. "I have no idea. But I would recommend to add her to the number one spot of the list of project rebirth." The man got up from where he sat. "Now we only have to find more children who have the capabilities we need to allow a digimon to digivovle." He snickers.

(Present, Tamers Universe)

In a building Takato,Tiffany, Tapirmon and Guilmon are in a fight with Darkrizamon. 

"Tapirmon! I have the perfect card for this situation!" Tiffany shouted.

Tapirmon narrows his eyes. "I'm ready"

"Digi-Modify! WarGreymon! Terra force!"

"Ready Guilmon? Digi-Modify! MetalGarurumon's Blaster Activate!"

"Terra Force!" Tapirmon roars

"Metal Blaster!" Guilmon cries.

Darkrizamon drops to the floor, Guilmon growls, and Takato makes a sigh of relief. 

Tapirmon flew onto Tiffany's shoulder. The blonde hair girl smiled at the ghost like digimon.

"Darkrizamon was one tough cookie, but you guys did it." Takato cheered.

Guilmon smiles happily. The reptile digimon tail started to shake. "Mm, did you say cookie?" He asked hopefully.

Takato sweatdrops. "I can't believe you're thinking of food right now."

Tiffany giggles. "Guilmon is just a baby."

Tapirmon deadpans. "A baby who tried to eat me the other day..." He mummbles.

"I told you, you looked like cotton candy" Guilmon cries.

Outside helicopters are flying around the building. 

Takato and Tiffany both looked up in confusion.  "Huh?"

Bright light engulfs the room. 

"What's going on?" Takato asked.

Tiffany shook her head. "I have no idea..."

A Helicopter pilot touched his ear peice. "Target confirmed, strike team standby, initiate retrieval sequence."

Guilmon tilts his head.  "Are we supposed to fight them Takato?"

"No, I mean I have no idea. Maybe we should scram before we find out." Takato suggested.

Tiffany nods following after him. "I second that option."

Darkrizamon shakes her head. "No, I want to stay. Make me stronger, make me digivolve!"

Darkrizamon gets up. 

"Huh?"

Two balls are thrown on the floor and they lets out smoke. 

"Takatomon where are you?"

Takato looks around the room worridly. "Guilmon, where are you? Guilmon?"

Tiffany tries to fan the smoke away with her hand. "I can't see anything. We should follow the sounds of each other's voices." She suggested.

"That's a good idea. I'm over here. " Tapirmon announced.

The smoke clears and Darkrizamon is right in front of Takato. 

"Takato!" Tiffany shouted.

"Please!" Darkrizamon begs.

Takato gets scared and from behind Darkrizamon is shot at and she falls. 

Guilmon raced towards Takato. "You okay?"

Takato is shaking. 

Takato nods "Uh huh."

Next to Darkrizamon Yamaki appears. 

"Well aren't you going to thank me? After all I did save your life."

He turns to Takato and Tiffany.

"That deserves something." He says with a smirk.

"Huh!?" Takato said in confusion.

Tiffany bawled her fists. "Why don't you just leave us alone. We never asked for your help!"

Yamaki chuckles ignoring the blonde hair girl. "This is dangerous work little kiddies, isn't it past your bed times."

Tiffany gritted her teeth. She hated adults when they tried to make fun of her because she was younger.

"Wh, who are you?" Takato stutter

"I'll ask the questions. Who do you kids think you are attacking digimon on your own? Do you think this is a game?" He asked.

Tiffany had enough. "We know what we sign up for. We are protecting people who can't protect themselves."

Yamaki laughs. "I knew one of you would say something like that. And it was obvious coming from you." He spoke coldly. "You children can't even see how dangerous those creatures are next to you. They could turn on you at any given moment. They are wild animals and should be exterminated."

"But they are our friends..." Takato whispered.

Yamaki signs some paperwork given to him by a scientist. 

"Like I said they are lethal creatures, who should be contained. In fact for your safety I should take your little red friend and ghosty there too"

Takato held out his arm in front of Guilmon. "Leave him alone, he's nothing like Darkrizamon!"

Tiffany nodded. "I swear if you touch Tapirmon. I will make you regret it." She growls

Yamaki shook his head. "Hm, so young, so naive."

Takato bawled his fists. "Who ya calling naive?"

Tapirmon narrowed his eyes.

Darkrizamon makes sounds of life. 

Takato eyes shook. "I don't believe it, she's alive."

Tiffany put a hand over her heart. "What are you planning to do with her?" She asked.

Yamaki shook his head. "That is none of your concern."

The scientist leaves. 

Yamaki snickers. "And your friends are dangerous, maybe I should take your friends, they could become dangerous too."

"Tapirmon would never hurt-"

A flashback of Tiffany drowning appeared in her mind.

Tiffany's eyes shook with tears.

"Tiffany..." Tapirmon whispers

"No! You'll have to go through me!" Takato shouted.

"Well, probably more trouble than their worth, right?"

Yamaki starts to walk away. 

"Ha ha ha ha ha, don't say I didn't warn you, little kids. Your not playing in the sandbox anymore."  

Yamaki disappears and Darkrizamon is gone with him. 

The Helicopter pilot from before touched his earpiece. "Mission complete, returning captain to headquarters."

"Who is that guy?" Takato whispered.

Tiffany shook her head. "I have no idea..." She whispered sadly.

Tapirmon stared at Tiffany with a hurt look on his face.

In the hideout. 

"You uh, did great tonight Guilmon."

Takato walks to the door. 

Guilmon tilts his head. "Takato."

Takato looks back over at him. "Yeah?" He asked.  

"I'm getting better, huh Takato? If I keep winning I'll get stronger and stronger and then I'll digivolve again, just like you want me to." He said cheerfully.

Takato smiled unsure. "Yeah, sure you will."

"Waiting's hard, I wanna digivolve right now. I wonder when I'll change again." He mumors to himself.

"Change?"

Flashback to when Growlmon absorbed DeviDramon's data and how big he was. 

End flashback. 

Takato shook his head. "No more fights."

"Huh? But no more fight means no more data, how will I get stronger? I thought you wanted me to digivolve." Guilmon asked sadly.

Takato shook his head. "I don't, you'll change!"

Takato runs out of the hideout. 

"Huh? Oh, what I do? Takato?"

(Tiffany's apartment)

After the whole fight with Darkrizamon. Tiffany had to decided to go home.

She sat on her bed. She was holding her knees close to her chest. As she looked like she was unsure of something.

Tapirmon appeared from thin air next to her.

"Tiffany..." He whispered.

The blonde hair girl looked back at the ghost rookie digimon. "Yes Tapirmon?" She asked as she closed her eyes.

"You aren't still upset...about when I tried to..." He trailed off. "Tiffany...what I did in the past was truly terrible...but I promise I would never hurt you again. I will do anything in my power to protect you!" He tried to reassure her.

Tiffany nods slowly. "Right..." She whispered unsure.

"Tiffany..." Tapirmon says sadly.

(Elsewhere)

On the street Takato runs home and behind him a building glows. 

"Something's appeared on my radar." Riley announced.

Tally gronaed. "Uh, and I thought we were gonna have a quiet night."

Riley's eyes grew wide. "Hm, it looks like a wild one, but I, I can't be sure. The signal's almost unreadable."

"Huh, maybe it's a glitch in the program, those engineers are so unreliable." Tally shook her head.

Riley nods. "Uh, now the tracer's acting erratic."

"I'm telling you it's those engineers, they're always going to karaoke parties instead of checking the equipment like they should."

Riley put a hand to her chin. "According to the tracer it's right under us. But, uh that's impossible."

Riley takes off her goggles. 

Calumon is running around the Hypnos floor. 

"Calumon zoom, zoom! Here zoom, there zoom! Calumon zoom, zoom! No underwear zoom! Ha ha ha." Calumon shouted happily.

Tally takes off her goggles and sees Calumon smiling looking back. 

"Oh, so cute." Tally spoke softly. As if not to startle the small creature.

Yamaki rides the elevator to the research lab. 

Those clueless tamers and their digimon, so oblivious to what I'm cooking up in my little lab. They'll find out soon enough and they'll be surprised. 

In a giant test tube Darkrizamon stands there. 

In the main floor Tally is looking under something for Calumon. 

"Hello? Where'd it go? You saw it too, right?" Tally asked.

Riley shook her head. "I think that leftover enchilada you had for lunch is making you see things. Come on, give it up."

Tally gets up and still looks for Calumon.  

"I'm telling you it walked and talked, and rhymed." She mummbles.

"And I'm telling you it's your lunch. Serves you right for eating four day old food."

Tally sighs. "Maybe you're right."

In the lab. 

"What is this place? Let me out! I don't want to go back!" Darkrizamon cries.

A scientist turn to look at Yamaki. "Sir, uh we're ready to initiate the data scan, but the creature may not survive."

Yamaki smirks. "Huh, you say that as if I should care. It's not as though that thing down there is flesh and blood, you know."

The man looked unsure. "Excuse me sir, but it has a real body, it's a life form."

"A worm is more of a life form than this thing, they're just packets of data, computer code, zero's and one's. Their ability to appear in our world is a fluke, but our monstrous friend here is not without its use. By analyzing its data we can learn how digimon are created and how they can be destroyed. Proceed with the scan, I want full power." Yamaki instructed.

He nods to the guy next to the machine and he turns it on. 

"Yes sir."

Darkrizamon starts to scream in pain
"Oh! No! let me out of here!"

"Its particles are dissipating." A scientist announced

"Don't stop until we have all of its data. We're only steps from achieving our ultimate goal."

"No!" Darkrizamon shouted.

"It's gone." The first scientist whispered.

"Its data hasn't disappeared though, just the body. Should I save the data?" Another scientist informed Yamaki.

Yamaki shook his head. "I don't see the point, we got all the information we needed from the scanning procedure, eliminate anything that's left."

"Wha-what? Uh yes sir, destroying all particles now."

The test tube glows blue as it deletes the data and Yamaki watches. 

"Get used to it, we'll scan as many as we have to till they're all gone." Yamaki grins to himself

(Blaine and Julia's house)

Pansamon hadn't gone to sleep. Ever since last night. All he could think about was project rebirth.

He wanted to go tell Julia right away. But Gatomon suggested until Blaine and Julia got a good night rest we shouldn't tell them.

The panther digimon looked towards the window.

"Please don't freak on me Julia. I know you have to watch your video dairies. But I need to tell you what's going on..."

Pansamon started to shake Julia awake.

The girl covered her face with her blankets. "Five more minutes...it's...it's...what day is it?" She asked aloud.

Pansamon stared at her with a puzzled look. Why is she asking for what day it is? Every time she woke up. She thought it was June first. What's so diffrent about this time?

Julia open her eyes. The purple hair girl slowly look around the room. And her eyes landed on Pansamon.

"Good morning Julia...don't freak out. You will remember everything when you watch your video diaries."

Julia eyes grew wide at the panther digimon. "You...you just talked." She whispered in amazeement. A bit of fear was in her voice.

"Julia?" Pansamon asked.

Julia screamed and threw a pillow at the rookie digimon. "Get away from me you monster!"

Pansamon eyes grew wide. What is going on? Why is Julia treating him like this?

The rookie digimon heard running towards the guest room. He quickly dashed into the closet and disappeared with the shadows.

The door slammed open and Blaine rushed into her room. He quickly hugged the screaming girl. But was shocked when she was pushing him away.

"Leave me alone! Who are you!? Where am I!?" She screamed loudly. "Someone help me!"

"Calm down! It's me Blaine...I'm your brother."

Julia shook her head. She had stopped screaming. And a look of confusion was on her face. She placed a hand on her forehead. "Do...do I have a brother?" She asked.

Blaine eyes grew wide. It can't be...please don't tell me her memory got worse.

The purple hair girl stared up at him. "Who am I?" She asked as she put a hand over her heart.

Blaine and Julia's aunt raced into the room. "Is everything okay?" She asked.

Blaine quickly looked back at her. "Call the doctor right away. Get medical help! Julia's? Memory has gotten worse!"

Their aunt stared at him in shock. She look like she couldn't believe it.

Their aunt races into the other room and called a number.

"Hello? How soon may I come in and speak to a doctor. My niece suffers from short term memory loss. And when she woke up this morning. It has gotten worse. She doesn't even remember who she is anymore, and she thought her own brother was attacking her."

The aunt nods. "I will come in right away."

Their aunt walked into the room. "Please come with me Julia."

The purple hair girl slowly got out of bed. "Okay..." She whispered unsure.

Blaine watched as his sister walked out of the room. He couldn't believe someone like her...someone who cared so much. Someone who always put everyone first...would have to deal with this.

Pansamon was watching from the shadows of the closet. The panther digimon had tears streaming down his face. Julia has forgotten me....She doesn't even remember who she is. (A smiling Julia flashed in his mind) The Julia I once knew...is gone..what happens if...she is gone for good now...

At school the bell rings and Takato talks to Ms. Asaji who's outside rubbing her forehead. 

"Uh, morning Ms. Asaji." Takato said to her.

Ms. Asaji looks towards him. "Huh? Oh it's you Takato, all right what are you hiding under your shirt today?"

She can see something in his shirt bulging out. 

"Uh, oh it's my lunchbox." He informed her.

He covers his D-power. 

"It's just really small cause I'm uh...on a diet." He lied.

Ms. Asaji rubs her forehead. "Huh, it's too early in the morning to start causing trouble. I haven't even had my first cup of coffee yet."

Takato smiles. 

"I won't cause any trouble, not me." He laughs nervously.

"I've said this before, boys who break the rules grow up to become thugs and zoo keepers."

"But what's wrong with being a zoo keeper, Ms. Asaji?"

Ms. Asaji shook her head. "Oh Takato don't be silly, for one thing you don't get any respect, you have to work all day with animals who never do what you tell them to do."

"Gee that kina sounds like what you do now."

"What?"

Takato laughs uneasily again. "Uh, he he he he he, nothing. Bye Ms. Asaji.".

"Uh, well at least animals don't make wisecracks."

Blaine quickly walks over to her.

"Um are you Ms. Asaji?"

She nodded. "Yes I am, what's the problem."

"It's my sister...Julia Glare...you see, she is currently at the hospital." He informed her.

"What? What's wrong with her?" She asked.

"My sister deals with short term memory loss, to deal with the problem she would leave herself video dairies. For the longest time that seem to work for her...but this morning...she woke up and she didn't even remember me...and even her own self..."

Ms. Asaji stared in complete shock at him. "I would never even guess, that she was dealing with a problem like that. Julia was always an outgoing student."

"I just wanted to let you know...I have no idea if this can be cured or not. But she might be gone from class for the next couple of days. He handed her a doctor's note. "Just wanted to make sure you knew where she was."

Blaine walked away while Mr. Morey walked over to her.

Ms. Asaji sighed in annyoance.

"Morning Ms. Asaji, and what a lovely morning it is. Good to see you're keeping the students in line."

She starts to walk to the school. 

"Uh, put a sock in it Morey."

"Wha? What I say? Ms. Asaji, hello?"

In class Kazu, Kenta and another kid are talking and they see Takato and Tiffany.

"Hey there." Takato waved at them

"What are you guys talking about?" Tiffany asked with a small smile.

"Oh yeah, uh hey yourself." Kazu whispered back to them.

"Uh!"

Takato and Tiffany exchange looks.

"Guys...please just forgive us...what we did was wrong. We were just trying to pull a joke on you two..."

Kenta shook his head. "No, what you two did was then tried to convince us that digimon were real. If it was a joke, you would've both dropped the act."

Jeri sees the boys aren't really friendly. 

"Hm!"

Later in class. 

"The topic for today is vegetables. To many of you vegetables are like homework assignments" Ms. Asaji announced.

A few students nodded to agree with her.

I've always wanted Guilmon to become stronger and digivolve just like in the card game, but that man's right this isn't a game. 

He looks at his drawings of Guilmon, Growlmon and Growlmon's next form. 

Guilmon's totally different when he digivolves, what if he ends up like the bad digimon we fight against and stops being my friend? 

He scribbles out the ultimate form and a note ends up on Takato's notebook. 

I don't want him to become a monster. 

Takato sees the note on his desk and picked it up.

"Huh?"

He looks and sees Jeri looking at him then he opens it and sees Guilmon dressed as a little boy. 

Takato giggles. 

At least Jeri doesn't think he's a monster. 

He looks at Jeri and she's making her hands open and close like it's her sock puppet. 

Although she would scream like a banshee if she saw Growlmon. I hope Guilmon never changes. 

Tiffany stared out the window. As memories of Tapirmon attacking her flashed in her mind.

"You don't deserve a second chance. The darkness that is in your heart sealed your on faith..."

Can that man be right....is Tapirmon too dangerous to be around? What happens if he is just using me to digivovle? And once he gets to his final stage...he doesn't need me anymore...

Ms. Asaji cleared her throat and got everyone's attentions. "I wanted to let you know why Julia is currently absent today."

Everyone look towards Ms. Asaji. "Julia Glare is currently at the hospital...her brother came to visit me before class started. He let me know that Julia suffers from a case of short term memory loss. For some people short term memory loss is diffrent. But for Julia she would loss her memories from the follow day. But this morning he told me it has gotten worse. She woke up not knowing who she was and where she was."

A few mumors of surprise was heard in the room..

"If anyone wants to visit her, during your free time. I think Julia would really appreciate it. I would give you her room number."

The school bell rang and a few students walked over to her.

Takato walked over to Tiffany. "I can't believe what's going on with Julia..."

"Me either...I knew about it...but I didn't think it would get worse..." Tiffany whispered sadly.

At Henry's house Terriermon is on his computer playing a game. 

"Stand back denizens of the Digital World, Terriermon's back."

On the screen digimon cards are there and four digimon keep popping up. 

"Whoa. Must've pressed the wrong button."

The door slams shut and Suzie's there so Terriermon plays stuffed animal. 

"I wonder what I'll find in here." Suzie says aloud looking around in the room.

Terriermon falls from the computer chair. 

"Oh look, it's an orphan. All alone in the world, no one to love you, or change your diapers."

She picks Terriermon up. 

"Suzie Sunshine will rescue you. I'll bathe you and dress you and use a big powder puff on you. You'll be my little princess PrettyPants. Oh yes you will."

Suzie giggles. 

At the Park Kenta is swinging and stops with Kazu next to him. 

Takato and Tiffany walk over to them.

"Uh, hey guys." Takato frowns.

"We really meant what we said in class..." Tiffany says sadly.

They walk up to them.

"Uh hey." Kenta mummbles.

Kazu nods. "Hi."

"So, what's up?" Takato asked.

Jeri walks on the side walk with her puppet. 

"Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!"

It catches their attention. 

"What are you four doing today, playing digimon?" She asked.

Kenta shook his head. "No way, digimon's for kids."

Kazu nodded to agree with him. "Yeah, it's all pretend."

"Well Guilmon's real."

"And so is Tapirmon." Tiffany agreed with him.

"Oh not that again. Listen dudes, you're not scaring anyone with that oversized stuffed dinosaur and fake ghost of yours, okay?" Kazu groans.

Kenta nods. "Uh, yeah."

Jeri shook her head "But Guilmon and Tapirmon are not a toy."

"Whatever, we're just not into playing digimon anymore, it's lame." Kazu said.

"You don't have to dump on it, if you don't like it then don't play." Takato said angrily.

Uh-oh, what's wrong with them? I know. Jeri thought to herself.

She uses her sock puppet. 

"You four are silly, sometimes you fight even when there's nothing to fight about. It's all just pretend right?" She asked.  

Jeri nods to agree with her puppet. "Yeah, that's right."

Kazu rolls his eyes. "Kenta, let's go hang at my place."

"Oh!" Jeri says sadly.

Kenta nods to agree with him. "Yeah, let's leave Takato and Tiffany with their kiddie game."

They walk away. 

"It's not a game." Takato says sadly.

"Why are they treating us this way?" Tiffany asked.

"I don't know..."

"Where'd they go? Did I say something wrong?" Jeri asked the two of them.

Takato shakes his head. 

"It's not you."

Jeri spoke through her sock puppet. "Ruff! Hey are you gonna play with Guilmon today?"

"Jeri, I'm not just playing!" Takato yells.

"Uh."

Takato look taken back. He look like he wanted to take back what he just said.

"I...I gotta go."

"Takato that wasn't nice!" Tiffany yells after him.

Takato runs home and Jeri takes her sock puppet in her other arm and holds it. 

"Hey Jeri...do you want to go to the hospital with me to visit Julia."

The brown hair girl nodded. "Sure..."

In the Hypnos Building Yamaki is having a meeting with four people through computer. 

A Man in car spoke. "Yamaki, I'm very disappointed. We've spent millions on Hypnos and what do you give us? One digimon floating in a tank in your lab. If that's all we needed I'd have hired a dog catcher."

"Catching them after they bio-merged isn't good enough, can't you keep them from appearing altogether? If the media finds out about these so called wild ones think of the panic it'll cause." A woman in a office agreed.

Yamaki nods. "Yes ma'am, but Hypnos is the only reason there haven't been any media leaks in the first place."

The Man in office slammed his hand on his desk. "Enough talk, let's just let the army handle it so I can get on with my lunch."

A Man on golf course scratch his head. "I uh lost my briefing so I'm a little lost, what are these digiman or whatever they're called." He asked puzzled.

The Woman in the office sighed. "It's digimon you twit, ugh I'll explain it again. Years ago a team of scientists created artificial life programs also known as digimon." She informed him.

"Oh you mean like pets, like my cat Muffy?" The man on the golf course asked.

She shook her head. "No you dolt, they're advanced forms of intelligence, in fact they were so smart the scientists couldn't control them."

"Sometimes I can't control Muffy, like when she spits hairballs on the couch!"

The Woman narrowed her eyes. "Mention Muffy again and I'll drop-kick you to the next time zone!"

"The program was shut down and digimon became a mere children's game or so we thought, somehow they survived and even worse developed the ability to synthesize proteins to take form here in the Real World." He informed them.

"So they're like a pack of freak circus animals, what's the big deal?" The man in the office asked.

"I agree, I mean who doesn't love the circus?" The man on the golf course asked.

"Sir, these are not performing monkeys, they have unlimited powers of destruction and indefinite life spans. They're a threat to humanity. You've rejected my proposal before, but the only solution is to completely eliminate them, in the Digital World and here. I have a plan that uses the digimon's own data against them, it's quite elegant really and there's no cause for hesitation. It's not as if we're destroying living, breathing creatures, they're just faulty programs which should never have been created in the first place. Think of lives we'd save, the chaos we could avert by striking early." Yamaki stated.

The man in the car crossed his arms over his chest. "This proposal, what's it called?"

"Juggernaut."

"The boundary between the Digital World and ours is thin, how do we know what effect Juggernaut will have on the Real World?" The man asked in the car.

"Yeah, how do I know you won't blow up my swimming pool?" The man on the golf course asked worridly.

"I wouldn't worry about that, Juggernaut may cause some complications online, but hang ups on the net happen every day. I doubt anyone will even notice." Yamaki smiles.

"These might not be simple complications, you know how I feel about your previous work Yamaki, but the chief's right it's too risky. The general public is bound to suspect something." The man in the office said angrily.

"Sir, no one knows that Hypnos even exists."

"Well I'm not getting in trouble over this, can't we just test this uh Jugger-whatever and see what happens? And if Yamaki gets discovered, huh we'll deny having anything to do with him." The man on the golf course suggested.

Man in the car nodded. "Good idea, for once you've come up with something we can actually use. Got it Yamaki?"

Yamaki nods. "Yeah I got it, we'll continue testing."

The window blinds open and the meeting ends. 

Yamaki shook his head. "Bunch of fools."

(Hospital)

Julia sat in a hospital bed. She was staring at a TV screen. Trying to understand why a TV show with a sponge and starfish was funny.

Blaine...her so called brother was sitting in a chair next to her. "Are you doing okay?" He asked. "Do you want me to get you anything?"

Julia shook her head. "I told you before I'm fine...I'm not sick...I just lost my memory..." She whispered.

Their was a knock at the door. And a nurse entered the room. With a blonde hair girl and a hazel hair girl holding a yellow cat puppet.

The girl with the blonde hair held tons of ballons. With sayins such as "I hope you feel better"

"Hey Julia" The girl walked over to her. "I know you don't remember us. But I'm one of your friends. I'm Tiffany Jane."

Julia nods. "I'm sorry..."

Tiffany shook her head. "I understand, you don’t remember me. " Tiffany held out her hand towards the hazel hair girl. "This is Jeri, she is in our class at school."

Jeri frowns at her. "I hope you feel better Julia...I'm sorry you lost your memories."

Julia sighs sadly. The two girls saw others ballons floating around the room. And get well soon cards. Other people from their class must have been here before them.

"Hey" Tiffany says with a smile. "Cheer up, I know you will get your memories back. Once you do. We should all go out for pizza." She suggested.

Julia looked unsure for a second. But she smiled softly. "I would like that...I understand that you two might be busy...thanks for dropping by."

Jeri shook her head. "We could stay longer if you want. We could keep you company. You shouldn't be alone right now."

Julia smiles. "Thanks."

Blaine smiles at the two of the girls and mouthed the words "thank you"

Jeri and Tiffany brought up a chair and they started to talk to Julia.

In the Park later Takato and Guilmon are talking with two little kids poking Guilmon's tail. 

"Go on, he doesn't mind. See?" One of the kids said to the other.

Guilmon looks over at Takato. "You still mad at me?" He asked.

Takato shook his head. "I'm not mad, I'm just worried about cha that's all."  

Little kids run around the Park. 

"But why?" He asked.

"When you digivolved you scared the pants off me, how you looked, your eyes." Takato mummbles.

"It was just me." Guilmon reassured him.

"But you barely even knew who I was, what if one day you like quantum digivolved and like totally forgot me or who you used to be?" Takato asked sadly.

Guilmon shook his head. "I wouldn't forget you, you're my friend. Hm, Takato no matter how much you change you're still you and no matter how much I change, I hope you know I'm still me too, kay?"

"Guilmon..."

Guilmon tilts his head. "Yeah?"

"You are totally amazing, it's like it was only yesterday that you were thinking and talking like a baby, but look at you now you see thing so clearly, maybe even better than I do sometimes." Takato says with a smile.

"Ha, I get it off of you, Takato."

"You know what? I wish I could change too."

"Takato digivolve!" Guilmon shouted cheerfully.

"Takato digivolve to MegaTakatomon! Roar! How!"

He stands up and howls, barks and the little kids stop and look at him. 

"Guilmon, I'm sorry for actin' all weird, you know, yesterday?"

"Why? You said you were only worried about me, right?" Guilmon asked.

Takato nods. "I know, but I should've realized even though you were Growlmon on the outside, your still the same bread snarfing goof on the inside, right? 

Guilmon smiles. "Right."

They both laugh and howl. 

In the Hypnos Building. 

"Hey Riley, what do you think that is?" Tally asked.  

She points to a giant machine, juggernaut. 

"Hm...well whatever it is it ain't pretty."

"We sure didn't get authorization for this." Tally mummbles.

Riley takes off her goggles and out her compact mirror and looks at herself. 

"Yamaki does what he wants, if I were you I wouldn't ask too many questions. Just know all his projects mean bad news for somebody."

At Rika's house. 

"Renamon, when you fought Harpymon you didn't load her data, that's the first time I've seen you do that, why?" She asked puzzled.

Renamon appears out next to Rika.

Renamon shrugs. "I didn't need to."

"But how will you digivolve?"

"I think digimon with human partners don't need to absorb data, something special about their relationship with their tamers makes them digivolve."

"I guess the two of us are like that, huh?"

Renamon nods. "I guess so."

Rika twiddles her feet in her socks. 

"I never thought I'd feel this way, it's kinda weird." Rika whispers.

"What?"

"It's like I can't remember what I used to be so angry about. I don't even feel like poking fun at Takato and Henry's silly digimon anymore. Or messing with Blondie, or the two siblings anymore..."

"Huh, you're right, that is weird."

In the hallway to Henry's apartment Janyu walks to the door and a mysterious man appears next to him as he starts to open the door. 

"Huh?"

"You are Mr. Wong I presume." The man asked.

"What? Uh, thanks but I'm not interested in buying anything."

"I'm no salesman Mr. Wong, think of me as a ghost from your past. From when you and your reckless friends thought you could do anything, like creating digital life forms on the net. They're out of control now, Mr. Wong, someone has to pay the price." The man said angrily.

"Why don't you just tell me what you want?" Janyu asked.

"I need you to help me find one of your old playmates, one who refuses to grow up, who is working on the project right now."

Janyu shook his head. "I don't know anything."

"Don't lie Mr. Wong, it's unbecoming." He yelled.

"Whoa are you?! Huh?" Janyu asked.

He turns to see a frightened Henry where the man was. 

"Uh, hi Dad."

"Uh, Henry."

"Is there something wrong? Who were you yelling at?" Henry asked.

The door opens up and Suzie emerges with Terriermon. 

"Daddy you're home!" Suzie shouted cheerfully. 

She turns to Henry. 

"Henry, say hello to Princess PrettyPants!"

She holds Terriermon up who's dressed like a baby and he starts to cry. 

"Uh, okay hi there." Henry said softly.

On a rooftop Calumon looks out. 

"Oh, that building I was in, I don't like it after all. There's something funny about it, something not nice." Calumon shook her head.

From in front of Calumon Impmon pops up and scares her and makes Calumon fall backwards. 

"Ooh, did I scare the adorable Calumon? Not so tough when you're tumbling like a sack of potatoes, huh fat face?"

"You're a big meanie, weenie! No wonder you don't have any friends!" Calumon shouted at him.

"Ah what good are friends? You run around bein' all cute and friendly and what's that done for ya? Ya can't even digivolve. No tamer wants you as a digimon, they just put up with you cause what's the word I'm looking for? Oh yeah, pathetic."

"Impmon, is there anyone you do like?" Calumon asked.

Impmon shook his head. "Nah, you pretty much all make me sick."

He walks on the rail. 

"What a young digimon like you needs isn't friends but some good advice, and it's your lucky day cause I'm in the sharin' kind of mood." Impmon says as he puts his hands behind the back of his neck.

He stops. 

"Life, my friend, is all about survival of the fittest, that's when the best and the brightest, that's me, wipes the floor with the meek and the weak, that's you. So if I blast you to Kingdom Come and absorb your data like I'm plannin' on doin', don't take it personal it's just nature takin' its course."

Calumon runs. "Oh"

(Tiffany's house)

Tiffany walked into her room.

Tapirmon appeared out of thin air. "How was Julia?" He asked.

Tiffany frowned. "She truly doesn't remember anything...I feel so sorry for her...I hope she gets better soon..."

Tapirmon nods to agree with her.

Tiffany looks at the rookie digimon and smiles. She surprised him by wrapping her arms around him and hugging him.

"I'm sorry for casting you away..." She whispered. "I just...have memories still of you attacking me...and what that man said to Takato and I...just got to me-"

Tapirmon hugged her back. "I understand...I'm sorry too."

In the Hypnos Building. 

"Operation Juggernaut, initiate." A scientist announced.

"I'm getting an abnormal reading. Sir, is this all part of the project we're testing? The Juggernaut?" The scientist asked Yamaki.

Yamaki nods. "Yes, but it's nothing to be concerned about, we're just giving it a test run. Using data from the digimon we've captured I've constructed a digimon composite to act as bait. Instead of us hunting for them, they'll come to us."

Tally smiles. "You're brilliant, sir."

"Well that's your first accurate observation." Yamaki smiles.

Behind the Juggernaut system a blue beam shoots up. 

In the hideout Takato has his cards out. 

"Hey Guilmon now that we're back on track I have all these attacks I wanna try." Takato says with a grin.

Guilmon is digging. 

"And maybe we should have a team name too like Awesome Twosome, or Dynamite Duo. What do you think?" He asked.

The ground starts to shake. 

"An earthquake?" Takato asked out loud standing up.

Guilmon frowns. It's coming.

In Henry's house. 

"Dinnertime everyone! Who wants take-out?" Janyu calls out.

"I do! I do! I do!" Suzie shouted running in the direction of the kitchen.

Henry and Suzie's older sister comes out of her room. 

"Hey Dad, smells great I'm starving." Henry's sister said with a grin.

"Now no smart comments about how this stuff's better than my cooking." Henry's mother said with a smile.

She sits down while the sister gets something to drink. 

"So what do you want? Fried frog or pickled pig feet? Mm, mm." Janyu asked.

"Oh Dad give me a break. I'm not eating fried frog." His eldest daughter made a sick look.

"You never know, you might like it." He teased her.

"Hey, uh Dad." Henry said.

"Don't worry I made that up, but don't tell your sister, okay?" Janyu whispers to his son.

Henry shook his head. "Actually I wanna know about that digimon project you used to work on."

"Let's talk about that later, okay son?" He asked.

Henry nods. "Oh, okay."

Henry's sister sit down. 

"So wher's the frog?" The eldest sister asked.

After dinner in Henry's room the curtain is hitting against the window. 

In the dining room. 

"Huh?" Henry whispers.

In Henry's room Terriermon is jumping at the window. 

"Whoa! Whoa!" Terriermon shouts.

Henry walks in. 

"Uh, Terriermon."

"It's got me Henry like a magnet. Can't resist it!" Terriermon cried.

"What is happening to you?" Henry asked.

Outside in the sky above Hypnos the blue beam shoots up into the sky. 

"Operation Juggernaut activated." The scientist announced.

Rings form from the middle out. 

"Data stream dispatched! Projected response, immediate."

On Yamaki's com device the Juggernaut system is shown. 

Those digimon won't know what hit them. Let's see the kiddies deal with this. 

(Tiffany's apartment)

Tapirmon started to grimace.

"Are you okay Tapirmon?" She asked worridly.

The rookie digimon shook his head. "I feel like...I'm fighting something...it's almost like it's trying to make me go to it." He informed her.

Tiffany shook her head. "Just fight it. Hopefully it will pass." She reassured him.

She continues to hug him. "Don't worry. I won't let it take you away. You promise to protect me, and I promise to protect you as well."

(Blaine and Julia's house)

Gatomon and Pansamon were grimacing as they tried to stay in place.

"Do you feel it too?" Gatomon asked as she gritted her fangs.

Pansamon nodded. "What is it?" He asked.

Gatomon shook her head. "I have no idea...I just hope it stops."

Outside the hideout Takato looks into the sky and Guilmon is ready to fight. 

"The sky." Takato whispers.

"Takato something's coming. A digimon, and it's really big." Guilmon whispers.

"Uh..." Takato whispers in surprise.

(Other Universe)

Skylar Ruby smiles as she walks out of her middle school.

The red head had just finished her math class. And was on her way home.

"Hey Sky wait up!" A male voice shouted.

The red head turn her head to see Davis running over to her.

"What do you want Davis?" She asked.

"I wanted to see if you want to go see a movie with me." He held up two tickets.

Skylar raised an eyebrow. "Is this your idea of a date?" She asked with a hand on her hip.

Davis shook his head. "Me" He pointed to himself. "Ask you on a date." He laughs. "Sky, I would never."

Skylar gave them the death stare.

"Okay, yes I'm trying to ask you out on a date."

"Then I don't want to go."

"Oh come on, please. I already bought the tickets."

"What is the movie anyway?" Skylar asked. 

"The best movie ever! Dora the Explorer live action movie."

Skylar rolled her eyes. "Davis you are too old to watch Dora!"

Davis shook his head. "Your never too old to watch that show."

Skylar sighs. "Fine, I will go with you."

Davis grinned from ear to ear. "Yes!"

"But on one condition. We go as friends. This isn't a date." She warned him.

Davis nods. "Gotcha. I will pick you up at seven."

Skylar nods as the boy with the goggles races away from her.

She shook her head. "What did I just do?" She mummbles.

A woman wearing a black suit walked over to Skylar.

"Hello, are you Skylar Ruby." She asked.

"Uh...why?" She asked.

"I'm supposed to give you this." She informed her.

She handed Skylar a silver necklace.

Skylar took the necklace. "Why are you giving this to me?" She asked. But when Skylar looked up the woman was already walking away.

"Wait..."

Before Skylar caught up the woman got in a black van and drove off.

Skylar stared down at the necklace.  It was attached to a black string. At the end of the necklace was a silver medal of a dog.

"What is this..." She whispered.

Authors note: Yes I will have scenes of some past characters that will appear in this book. But they will never be apart of the main story... or are they?

Anyways the movie Davis wanted to see was this one. Trailer was made by collegehumor.
