" That's nice."
Lotte smiles at Akko and continues reading her book. Akko was now infuriated, she had told both her friends the news and neither of them seemed to care at all, that Diana was staying with them.
" what?! Why are you guys so calm, Diana's stuck up and just uuughhh!" Akko screeches and slams her foot on the floor.
" To be honest it won't be for long, we all know even if Diana is here your grades won't improve." Sucy laughs at her.
" wow what a way to make me feel better about myself Sucy."
Angrily she goes to her bed and crosses her arms, Sucy's honesty can really get on your nerves. 
" so how did practice with professor Ursula go today?" Lotte asks Akko. meanwhile in the corner of the room, Sucy giggles quietly and mixes a green glowing liquid.

" oh it went just fine you know just the usual blowing things up with my magic and making myself look like a failure." Akko makes it sound like she really doesn't care about it but she does. People always think little of her because of how incompatible she is with magic. That plain ' I don't care face ' she puts on is just to make it seem like nothing can ever get to her. She does work hard but in the end her efforts hardly ever pay off, why they hadn't kicked her out of the school yet was a thought Akko constantly had lingering in her mind.

" Don't look so down Akko, I'm sure your skills will blossom some day. It took me a bit to really grasp onto my magic as well,  and considering you don't come from a witch family I think you're doing just fine."
Lotte was the type of friend Akko could always go to, to make her feel better even in the worst situations she always had something nice to say.
" Thanks Lotte but I can't even ride a broom yet and all of you guys were doing it at like 4 years old."

" like I said Akko you'll get there."

" Sucy why can't you be more like Lotte and say nice things to me?" Akko questions her pink hairs friend.

" because I'm Sucy and she's Lotte. I do say nice things to you like.... You were a great test subject for my potions."
A pillow goes flying across the room and slams itself in Sucy's face.
" that's not being nice!" Akko pokes her tongue out.

* KNOCK KNOCK*

"come in!"

The door handle twists and multiple fairies walk in carrying Diana's belongings.
An entire book shelf, her KING  sized bed, desk, LOTS of books, clothes and all other little bits.
" can that stuff even fit in here?" Akko questions the fairies.
In reply Akko retrieves a nod.
They put Diana's items in various spaces and in the end the room looks fuller than it has ever been before.

" thank you very much." A voice says walking through the door. Diana. The fairies walk out and shut the door behind them.
" hello Lotte and Sucy, as Akko has probably already told you, I'll be staying here for a while. If I cause any problems don't threat telling me immediately I don't want to be a distress to either of you while I stay. "
Diana sits down on her bed.

" I have a problem." Akko says.
"Of course you do, and sorry but I don't want to hear it Akko because it will probably be an insult towards me."
Immediately Akko shuts her mouth. She'd never seen Diana so....tense. She's usually calm and doesn't take notice of what people say.
" so Akko have you done any studying for our test in about 3 weeks ?" Diana asks.
"Akko always leaves studying to the night before the test." Sucy tells Diana.

" Akko... Please study today." Diana asks.
" don't feel like it."
Diana takes a deep breath in and then lets it out. Can't Akko see that she's trying to help her?

" if you want to keep going to this school Akko I guess you'll just have to feel like it."

" I'll study later tonight."

" no Akko I'm saying this for your own good, the test that's coming up isn't easy and it's part practical and part knowledge."

" Lotte tell Diana I'll study later."

" Akko I'm not involved in this." Lotte buries her face in her book.

" I can't be bothered to study Diana stop pressuring me to so stuff!" Akko whines.

" please Akko.... I don't want you to fail." Diana tells her.

" why do you care about if I fail or not." Akko scoffs.

" because I care about you! And you having grades could lead to you being kicked out of school its your dream to become a good witch an even better one that chariot. The whole reason you came to this school was because she came here!" Diana shouted. Anyone could hear the sincerity in her voice as she said what she was thinking. Diana really did want Akko to do well, she really did care about her.

"Okay..... I'll study... thanks for looking out for me." Akko mumbles the last part under her breath.

" Good you're finally being sensible, if you need any help ask me. I'll be outside with Hanna and Barbra." With that she left the room.

" I don't know why you hate her so much Akko she's really nice." Lotte says.
" I agree with her." Sucy says.

" grr, I can't believe I let her convince me to study. "

" maybe you just have a weak spot for Diana more than anyone else." Lotte suggests.

" ha me have a weak spot for her....never!"  Akko grabs a magic book and starts looking through it.

" come and try my new potion Akko it makes you smarter." Sucy swirls the potion in Akko's face.
" you've told me that before and I started growing mushrooms out of my ears! " Akko blurts.

" fine I'll just give it to you in your sleep." Sucy whispers.

Akko takes her magic book and wand and heads towards the door.
" where are you going?"

" I'm going to ask Diana for help.....I don't understand anything for the test." Akko laughs nervously.

" What's even the topics of  test?" Lotte asks.

" oh.... Advanced transformations and  potion mixing for the practical. And for the writing...... Ugh...there's gonna be questions about the origins of magic." Akko says.

" oh Diana was right those are hard stuff...well good studying!"

Akko walks out and goes down the hallways. Now where would Diana be outside? Akko thinks to herself. She walks out into the suns rays and immediately spots Diana with her pals under the weeping willow tree.
" easy." Akko smirked.

" HEY DIANA!" Akko shouts to grab the girls attention. She walks up to her and sits down.
" Akko... Honestly I didn't expect you to accept my help." Diana says surprised.

" well....I'm not gonna lie I do need you Diana....anyways... I've got a book and my wand soooo is now a good time to have a study lesson.

" yes I guess it is, Hanna, Barbra I'll be with Akko for a while I'll talk to the both of you later."

" okay...don't let Akko kill you Diana." Hanna and Barbra both laugh.

"Don't worry about them Akko they're just playing." Diana tells Akko placing a hand on her shoulder.
