Day 62
It's easy to give other people advice but it's a lot harder to follow the advice yourself. Just like it's harder to see if you have a problem it's harder to apply your advice to yourself. It's important to be able to see where you are messing up and what to do to fix it before you start trying to solve everyone's problems. Christians are often accused of being hypocrites, and to a point I think that's true. I'm not speaking for all Christians when I say that but we are all messed up and we are all trying to follow a perfect standard. Some people see helping others see how they could be doing things better when you're making plenty of mistakes hypocritical, depending on how you do it I think it could just be offering some advice. One of the biggest reasons people don't go to church because of all the hypocrites, and I get that it's not fun to be around hypocrites but that shouldn't prevent you from trying to grow closer to God and become a better person. Look at yourself and see what you can fix before pointing out flaws in other people.
