Overthinking isn't good for you, it causes you to worry about things that don't matter that much. Worry leads you away from God because it's you distrusting Him. When you worry you don't think that God is going to make good things come out of the situation. So don't stress about things put your trust in God. Think about all the issues in your life, everything you worry about, anything you're uncertain about, then surrender what control over those things you have to God. That's putting your trust in Him. Surrendering to God frees you from worry. It's scary and it's hard but your life gets so much better when you're trusting Him. When you put your trust in God you begin looking at things with His perspective. You can see what really matters in your life, your relationships with others and with God, what isn't going to matter, like gossip and grades, and what doesn't matter now, like other people's opinions of you. Don't waste your time worrying about things that don't matter. Trust in God's plan for you and strive to live life His priorities. Don't forget this life is a tiny spec of our existence.
