I hear people say follow your heart a lot. That's great until I get angry and feel like punching someone so I beat them up. Our heart is constantly changing with our circumstances one minute it says one thing then it wants to go in the opposite direction. The truth is our heart is unstable and if we let it lead us then our lives will be unstable. Our mind isn't much better, if all our decisions are based of what's logical there's little room for enjoyment. You'll live your whole life questioning everything, not believing in anything you can't see. We really can't rely on ourselves to lead our lives if we want everything to be the best way it can be, we have to follow God. If what we do is based on how Jesus would act and how He told us to act then our lives would be so much better. God gave us instructions on how to live an abundant life and yet we listen to everything but Him. Instead of listening to your heart or your head try listening to God's way to live your life.
