It's easy to take everything we have for granted but really it is all a generous gift to us. God gave us everything here on earth and more and yet it can be so easy for us all to forget about Him. I know my mind likes to go anywhere but God throughout the day even though God is the reason I can think at all. There is nothing we can ever do to deserve God and He knows that. But He loves us anyways and no matter how much we mess up He will keep loving and forgiving us. Keep your mind focused on Him and whenever you're tempted to be lazy and do other things remember how much God has given you. Sometimes reading the Bible becomes a chore, sometimes going to church becomes a chore, and sometimes writing these devotions becomes a chore for me. When that happens you need to remember why you started those things in the first place and the amazing God you serve. When you do things for Him do them with a joyful heart or don't do them, when things like that becomes a chore then doing them won't help you or your relationship with God.
