People's actions show what they really believe. No one actually loves God and believe in everything He says if they are stingy with their money and mean to the people around them. If they truly believed in all that Jesus taught then they would know money isn't worth anything compared to Heaven and that one of the most important things you can do on Earth is be kind to others. So what do you believe based on your actions? Yes we all mess up and no one is expecting you to be perfect but you should constantly be striving to do God's will for you. To do God's will for you, you actually have to know what it is which means you have to read the Bible. Don't rely on anyone's teaching too much, including my own, instead read what God has to say in the Bible. Start with the gospels and read about what God says directly, then read things on how to live like Jesus. If you really believe in what Jesus said then you be set apart from everyone else, the way you think is different because you know God makes good things come out of hard times and you will be accountable for your actions then you will enjoy Heaven with a creator that loves you.
