Love is all about sacrifice. You can't love someone without giving things up. Love changes you because the person you love becomes your first priority. Love isn't longing for another person or lusting after them. Love is knowing you will be there for someone and caring about them more than yourself and everything else. It doesn't change with your feelings and even if you loose passion for that person it doesn't mean you stopped loving them. Real love doesn't end no matter what happens or what you do to each other it's still there. Real love doesn't have to be between a girl and a boy, or two people involved romantically. Love exists between people, there are no qualifications that you have to meet to love and be loved. Jesus died to save us and to show us what real love is. He loves everyone like this and He asks us all to love them like this too. He knows we'll mess up and He knows it's hard to love our spouses and best friends like this but He still wants us to do our best to love everyone in the same way.
