We spend to much time on social media and we often let it control us. Yes it can be a useful tool to spread God's word or keep in contract with friends. But anything that has potential to be good also has the potential to be bad. We tend to post things and worry about how many likes it would get. Social media can be a big factor in how you look at yourself. Most things you see on social media are fake or surface level, people only put on there why they want you to see. Before you post anything think about if it is pure and if it reflects who God wants you to be. Is it pure, is it something you wouldn't mind a 5 year old and your grandparents looking at? Does it bring you closer or reflect God or is it at least in line with what God tells you to do. This is also a good way to judge who or what you follow and look at on social media. Social media is not a bad thing but it can definitely become a bad thing for you if you don't use it correctly.
