Our life is like a marathon, we need breaks.  If you ran a marathon obviously you would take a break for water, so why don't we do that in life.  Now in life we don't need physical water but we need Jesus who is living water.  You need God's living water throughout life not just at the end or when it gets tough.  As many runners know if you wait until your practically dehydrated to get water it will be too late so don't wait until the big challenges to start your relationship with God.  You need to build your relationship with God during the good times so that He can walk with you during the hard times. If you can't trust Him when everything's going good then it will be twice as hard to trust Him during the hard times. Actually a lot of people do turn to God while their going through hard times but if they had trusted God more during the good times it would've been a lot easier. Most of the successful relationships with God have started through the good and they were successful because they took breaks in their life to talk with God through the good and bad times.
