God is alive and working in your life. Don't ever let anyone tell you differently. People will disagree with you and they will give you science facts to back it up, they'll give you questions you can't answer, and they will pull out famous scientist and other famous theologians who are atheists. Science is constantly changing and most of it doesn't actually conflict with God. The Bible is not a science book it was written for average people to understand thousands of years ago so it doesn't explain quantum physics or anything like that but when you look science often really supports God's existence. Just because someone comes up with a question you can't answer doesn't mean there isn't an answer to that question, it also doesn't prove God doesn't exist you can ask plenty of people who don't believe in God questions they can't answer but that doesn't prove anything. Many famous and respected people are atheist but many are also Christian. People will make good arguments as to why God doesn't exists or isn't loving, that doesn't take away all of the good arguments there are for God as well.
