A few people's actions cause everyone else to be judged by what those few people did. If one person has a vocal opinion about Christianity then everyone starts to think that all Christians all have that same opinion. Christians can be hypocritical, use verses out of context, and act like a perfect group. That isn't a reflection on Christianity or God it's a reflection on them. The way Christians act turns people away from God completely because how can you believe in an all loving God if His followers do that. Because of free will God doesn't control people so He isn't controlling the Christians who are doing the bad things. It's like if I did something bad and then said I did it for you, that doesn't mean that it has any reflection on you. We put a lot of words into God's mouth based on what His followers do. However unlike us God is perfect and nothing others say about Him will change that. Christians do awful things all the time like the Ku Klux Klan but that doesn't make all Christians evil or God evil, it doesn't even mean they all hate people who are a different race from them. God can't be defined by our actions He should be defined by His own actions and those are perfect.
