~Y/N POV~

I'm suppose to be doing homework but to be honest my mind was somewhere else. It was on Jungkook again.

We walked home together like planned but he barely spoke not that I expected him to so I kept the conversation going by joking about our chemistry teachers nose hair. I mean seriously he needs to get it trimmed. The conversation made him laugh at least.

Then we parted ways for home and here I am now, Doing homework...well sort of.

My desk was right next to my bedroom window so every time I look to my left I have a clear view of Jungkooks bedroom. Every time I look at him he's in the same position laying on his bed positioned on his side scribbling something on a large piece of paper.

I had an idea come to mind and I could only hope that it would work.

Picking up a handful of extra pencils I have I took them over to my window, opening it up and decided to throw one single pencil at his window for his attention.

The first one didn't catch his attention so I threw the second one harder just to watch it ping off his window. This time he looked up to his window, forming a frown just to see me about to ready myself to throw another and I did.

I threw it to his window and watched it fall to the grass below. He got up and came to his window, sliding it open to stick his head out like myself.

"Y/n what are you doing?" Jungkook

"I'm throwing pencils at your window for your attention."

"Pencil? Why pencils?" Jungkook

The curve of his lips didn't go unnoticed and that made me smile wider than before to know he likes that.

"It was the only thing I could think of to throw at your window. Now Jungkook I have a request."

"A request?" Jungkook

He repeated, scratching the top of his head.

"Yes. Jeez you ask a lot of questions. Now have you heard of that fun fair coming to town this weekend?"

Only did he squint his eyes at me, yet slowly nod.

"Yeah." Jungkook

"I want you to come with me. Just the two of us."

I pointed between myself him.

"But what about your friends? Wont they be going?"
Jungkook

I just shrugged, not thinking much of it and remembering the conversation I had with Lia earlier. I told her all about Jungkook. She was surprised that I knew so much about him up until now but I told her I wanted to go with Jungkook which she wasn't bother about because she's going with Jimin so they'll most likely make a date out of it.

"It doesn't matter about them. They know about you anyway and I want to spend more time with you outside school. Just like old times."

I grinned towards him and he shyly blushed and looked down to the grass below in his garden on his side of the fence.

"Old times huh?" Jungkook

"Yeah old times. I meant what I said Jungkook. I miss you and I want us to be friends again."

He only nodded then looked over his shoulder to something in his bedroom and then back to me again.

"Can...can I get your number then? I m-mean only if you want?" Jungkook

It was so cute how he asked me with his little voice and not being able to hold eye contact with me. But i however was over the moon he asked.

"Sure you can get my number! Hold on!"

I didn't wait to see his reaction and went back to my desk, ripping off a strip of paper from my notebook after dropping the many pencils in my hand and scribbled my phone number on it and scrambled it up into a ball and back to the window.

"Here catch it."

Jungkook nodded and yet prepared himself, hands already out and ready. I pulled my hand back over my shoulder and launched the paper ball towards him. It flew across from my window to his but flew right into his shoulder to fall but luckily his reflexes were good and caught the piece of paper.

"I got it!" Jungkook

He held it up to show me, supporting a beaming smile which I nodded and clapped my hands excitedly.

"Great! Text me yours!"

Jungkook only nodded and shut his window, back inside his room and I did the same grabbing my phone from my desk and throwing myself onto my bed to lay in my back waiting for him to text me.

Then my phone lit up with a text notification and I knew it was from him so I opened it up immediately and gave him a name to stay on my phone forever.

And don't worry about my friends. They're doing their own thing there. Plus I told Lia all about you so she doesn't even care that I'm going with you. Not like it would stop me anyway. 🤷‍♀️

Yes I did. I'm not ashamed that I'm going with you. I would never be ashamed of you Jungkook. You're an amazing guy, and they'll all see that once they get to know you.
