"A sleepover?..."

"Yeah! So that way we can see him if he really is a demon hunter or not." I was reluctant at first but in order to make my friends believe me I guess I have to. "Okay then." I agree to her plan and allow them to sleep-over with me. I ate a little before we left the roof. I went back to class and stare out the window wondering what's he doing right now. "Hey Celestia ?" I turn toward the voice and see the class rep in front of me. "Yes?"

"Um... earlier, back when you were talking to yourself, by accident. You said something about knowing secrets. Two of them in fact. And one of them happens to be Skylar's. What's that secret about?"

"Um... I don't know how to explain it but it's one of those where you have to see it to believe it kind of secrets."

"Oh... that's a shame, but since it's that kind of secret I guess I have to wait for that time where he shows it right?"

"Yeah..." She walks away and I sigh a relief. I didn't want to her to know about him. Anymore would cause him to move away and I wouldn't want that.

<After school.>

The three of us walk home. My friends went ahead and went to their house to get their stuff for the sleep over. I walk through the same alley where Skylar first saved me. This was a special place between me and him. It was this one place where I fell in love with him. I'm just happy that he transferred into my school.

I walk up the steps up my house and open the door. "I'm home." My mom comes out the living room and sees me taking my shoes off. "Welcome home. How's school?"

"Pretty normal. Oh, the transfer student in my class got suspended."

"Oh my. What happened?"

"The school's swimming captain got mad at him for beating his record, during class. He threatened him but the transfer student is a mute so he couldn't respond back. I tried to stop him but I get hurt instead."

"My... by any chance, do you have any feeling for this muted person? Is that why you protected him?"

"M-maybe... but I only acted because the person is a mute. He couldn't say saying. He was walking away not because he didn't want to answer back but because he was going to get his sketchbook. But the main reason is because he kicked the captain into the pool for hitting me. He got suspended for caring about me."

"Oh I see..." She was looking up as she said that like, she was thinking about that. "Oh, mom, my friends are having a sleep over here. I don't know when they will come over though."

"Okay, that's fine. I will be cooking dinner then."

"Okay, I'm going upstairs to change clothes." I walk upstairs to my room. "Okay." My mother acknowledges me. I change into my casual clothes and went back downstairs. I went in the kitchen to get a cup of water. "Oh, I think I met this transfer student of yours..." I turn back to her, intrigued by her statement. "Hm?"

"I was buying groceries and at the cashier, there was this silent, smiling boy, around your age. Short,sliver hair and starry night eyes. He never said anything to me but I understood him by just looking at his gestures." I was stun to hear that my mother met him. "Where did you meet him?"

"Hehe.... At the supermarket. The same one we always go to." I run to the front door in haste and put on my shoes. "I'm heading out!" I barge through the door and run down the steps of my house. I run into my friends but I kept running toward the supermarket. "Celestia, where are you going?"

"To the supermarket!" I wave them goodbye and kept on running. Skylar.... I get to see you again. I know you just got suspended today but I just want to see you and tell you thank you for caring about me.

I made it to the supermarket, out of breath from the run. I enter the market and look at all the cashiers. He wasn't there. I walk up to one of the cashiers and ask,"Excuse me."

"Y-yes what is ma'am?" A young lady in her early twenties ask me. "Have you seen a silver haired boy work here?"

"Oh you mean Skylar? You just missed him. He went home for the day."

"He did?... Dang it...." I was going to cry but I was interrupted by someone tapping my shoulder. "Hm?" I turn around and the person flicks my forehead. "Ouch...." I rub my forehead to ease the pain. "Oh? Skylar, I thought you went home already?" I notice the young lady's words and look up. It was Skylar and he was wearing casual going out clothes. He looks so handsome in his casual clothes. "S-Skylar!" I couldn't hold back my excitement and hug him. "Do you know this girl?" The lady asks. He nods yes to her. "Is she your girlfriend?" He shakes his head, no. I look at him with my cheeks slightly puff out and growl at him. He looks at me with confuse eyes and I knew what he was asking me. He was trying to tell me 'what did you want me to say?' "Hahaha. Skylar's attention span maybe broad but when it comes to this stuff, it's not." He looks at the lady with a confuse face and tilts his head in confusion.

He walks me out the supermarket. "I heard that you got suspended today..." He nods his head. "I-I'm sorry..." He shakes his head, no. I gesture him to stop and insisted that it was really my fault. "I ran over here when my mother told me that she met you. I wanted to say thank you for protecting me back at school." He pets my head and for some reason I enjoyed it. I usually don't like it when people touch my head but when it's him, I'm perfectly okay with it. As he pets me, he pulls out his notepad and shows his message, which was a simple thank you.

He was walking me back to my house and the sky was growing orange as the sun sets. "Hey Skylar? I've been wondering about something and that something is your message to the captain today. What did you say to him?" He stops for a while and slowly goes through his sketchbook. I, too stop and turns around. He finds the message and takes a slow deep breath. He turns it around and it says,"You never raise your hand against a girl you lowlife! You can keep your stupid record and gloat but if I see you make any girls cry... I will make sure you regret it. Now apologize to her." I was shock to see that message. I look back up and he was embarrass. I thought to myself and thought that he looks cute when he did that. I walk up to him and he turns his head toward me. I give him a hug and hold him for a couple of seconds. "Thank you, Skylar, for caring about me. I don't really get to meet guys like you because they all want to go out with me. You're different. You showed no interest at all until you saved me two nights ago. And then last night, that's when we were aware of each other's feelings."

I feel him nod his head in agreement. I pull back from him but I place my hands on his shoulders. I stare deeply into his eyes and begin to get the sudden urge to kiss him. I fought back the urge and give him a quick hug. We continue to walk back to my house.

When we got to the steps of my house, I saw my friends looking out the window. They were watching us, as we made said our goodbyes. "Thank you Skylar for walking me home." He nods his head again. We both stood across each other, just looking into each other's eyes. All of sudden, he runs up to me and hugs me. I thought he was letting his feelings out to me. I was so happy that he took the initiative. I wrap my arms around him and feel something wet. I pat his back a bit and look at the wet liquid. I move my hand to my eyes and was presented the bright red liquid known as blood. He let's go of me and turns his head toward the direction in where the object came from. When he fully turned around, there was an arrow sticking out from his body. He didn't hug me because of his feelings but because, I was being targeted.
