So what the hell you thought yesterday while deciding to leave? She asked me with a frown.

How did she know?🙄 did kavin told her?🙄 but why????

That's not important now! Tell me why you took that stupid decision!? She asked angrily.

I bit my lower lip in nervousness.

That.. That.. I thought.. I don't deserve him. I said slowly.

What the heck kannamma! Are you really stupid or you act like one? For God's sake, it's not a deadly disease okay? Why are you acting like he sacrificed his life to give you a life? You're not a trash and he's not a temple! You both love each other and that's all matters! Your love is not less than him and vice versa! Why can't you understand this? There is no deserving or not deserving in love. If you love someone, then your love deserves them!

She asked me very furiously. I just stared at her. Her words are like slap on my face.

That's when reality strikes me. I didn't consult any other doctor after that because of marriage and that demon's problems.. Wait! What actually happened to that demon after that? I mean, what punishment was given to him by judges? I should ask this to kavin later!

Hey kanns! I'm asking you only! Where are you lost? Maya asked waving her hands in front of my face.

Huh? Haan.. No. I didn't consult any doctor after that because of marriage problems and all. I said thoughtfully. She gave me a unbelievable look.

Thank him first for his kindness. She said. I pouted again. I don't have anything to say as everything she said is right!

I.. I was about to speak when we heard someone clearing their throat. We both turned and saw that Kavin is standing near the door looking at us with a thinking face.

Uhmm.. Amma is calling Maya for lunch! He said. Maya nodded. We both went and maya ate lunch. He left to our room then.

Aththa started talking with us randomly. While talking, she started talking about Kavin and Ilakya Anni's childhood. About how they fight for chocolate papers and how anni beat him when he eat her share of snacks. I and Maya laughed the whole time.

In childhood, he's more naughty than anni!

Aththa suddenly stood up like she remembered something. We both looked at her with questioned face.

Wait.. I'll show you their childhood pics! I think it's in Kavin's room. She said and went to our room.

She came within 15 mins with a album. She placed in front of us and showed everything with a excited face.

See this is Ilakya! It was taken when she went to school!

See this.. It's Kavin. It was taken when he is 2 yrs old! Cute right?  And then this is when he's 4 years and this is 6 yrs!

She started showing pics from the album. He looks so cute and adorable in that pics😍. And anni looks like an cute angel🤩. When she's about to show the next pic, someone snatched the album from our hands.

Enough.. There's no pics after that! Kavin said with album in his hands.

No! You're lying! There are more pics.. Why are you doing this machan? Maya whined.

Aththa chuckled like she knows something.

There's a pic when he's 2 years old without any clothes😉😂! That's why he snatched it before you see! Aththa said with a chuckle in which he glared her.

Then we should see that isn't it kanns? Maya asked me with a teasing smirk. I nodded vigorously while grinning.

No way! Saying this Kavin started running and me and maya started chasing him.

He ran through the whole house. And we're also not in the mood to leave him. When he ran towards the entrance door, the door opened suddenly revealing Kathir!

Surprise! Kathir said with a grin. Kavin immediately turn left and again ran. Being ran before me, Maya lost balance colliding with kathir who's standing in entrance with a confused and shocked face.

They both landed on floor maya on top of kathir. I saw them shocked and the laughing sound turned my attention towards him. He stopped running and standing there while laughing his heart out.

I took this as a chance to catch him. He alerted and again tried to ran. I made a quick move and ran near him. He circled the sofa. I catch him but we both landed on sofa he on top of me.

He looked at my eyes and so do I. I totally forget about why I tried to catch him and all. We both drowned in our own world and came to reality when someone snatched the album from his hold. We both stood up awkwardly.

Yay! I got it! Maya yelled while laughing.

What you got kathrika? You even tried to kill me by colliding on me! Appearance are deceptive is totally right! You may looks like small brinjal but you're heavy like a pumpkin! Kathir said. Maya glared him!

This album has Kavin machan's childhood pics. He tried to snatch it from us. So we both chased him! She said.

Why da? Kathir asked him.

Dei that.. Come here.. Kavin whispered something in Kathir's ears in which Kathir started laughing his heart out😂🤣.

So I came here in perfect timing ryt? Kathir asked with a grin.

Ahhaahaa.. No way! What say kanns? Maya asked me with a playful smirk. I immediately snatched the album from her.

We spent the evening with fun talks. Maya and kathir as usual started their never ending bickering.

So Maya.. When is your college going to end? Kavin asked maya.

Yeah! She's now studying final year. She wrote her 3rd year exams after Anna's wedding. Her results are going to out in a month.

Final year is started just a month ago machan so still 1year is there to complete my studies. Maya said Kavin nodded thoughtfully.

Maya looked at Kathir for a second and averted her gaze and to my surprise, he too did the same!

Kathir cleared his throat making us to look at him. Kavin raised his brow at him questioningly.

I.. I'm going to get water! He said and immediately left to kitchen with a sad face. I wonder what suddenly happened to him that he became sad!

After that, Maya went to home with Kavin after having dinner and Kathir also left. I asked her to stay with me but she left saying that her dress and jewels are at our home for my reception. And also she have to complete some assignments today itself as she can't able to complete tomorrow.

We both went into our room and lyed down after he came dropping Maya at my home. I glared him for telling everything to Maya. But he looked at me like he had no idea for why I'm glaring him.

Due to my constant glares, he turned and looked at me.

What? Why are you looking at me? He asked.

Don't you know why? I asked in a sarcastic tone. His face turned into a complete question mark.

Why you told Maya everything? I asked.

What I told? He asked me perplexed.

Don't act! Why you said that I left yesterday and all to Maya? I asked him.

She have to concentrate in studies now and not in our stuffs. God! Why didn't you think these? I said in a non stop tone. He sighed and handed me water to drink.

I thought yesterday that you'll change this stupidity and you'll ask me before assuming anything but who am I talking! You're proving me wrong everytime!

I didn't tell anything to Maya! It's true that yesterday I called her to know whether you went to your home or not but I didn't tell anything. Even I lied that you went to nearby park without informing me so that I called her. I'm not a fool to tell these to her okay? He said.

I was stunned by his reply. I mean I.. I.. No one know this issue except I, him and Pooja! Yeah, so Pooja? Oh my god! I totally forgot about her. Great!

I patted him. He totally ignored that! I pouted.

Okay! Let me see the album now! I said loudly hoping that he'll stop me. As like I thought. He sat immediately.

No! Don't! He said sternly snatching the album from my hands.

But.. I already seen it😝! I said. He looked at me with disbelief.

You.. You're lying! He said.

No! I even took pic in my mobile! See! I showed him the pic. He tried to snatch it but I didn't give him.

Delete it! He said.

No! I said. He sighed defeated.

If you forgive me, then I'll delete it! I said teasingly. I'm not saying this to him forgive me. I know my mistakes are not forgiven easily. I'm just trying to lighten up his mood!

Fine! I know how to delete it! Good night! Saying this he lyed down turning other side. I pouted.

Ok I'm sorry! At least smile, then I'll delete! I said but he ignored me totally. What so difficult in smiling uh!?😒 Finally I slept with a pout🙁

The next day! Reception!

Pooja is the one who designed our dresses. I and Kavin decided to wear something traditional and trendy so she designed a lehenga and sherwani for us. And for them, they decided to wear western clothes, a coat suit and evening gown.

From morning, he didn't talk with me and totally ignored me. My family and Kathir arrived here at lunch itself.

We all chit chatted for sometime and started getting ready for reception. Maya and anni helped me and Pooja whereas Kavin and Ram in another room with anna and kathir.

The reception hall is not far so we decided to go there at half past 5. We all got ready and came out of the room.

Oh my god! Where is my daughter in law and my ammu? Who are you both? Aththa said dramatically earning a chuckle from us.

Aththa please stop teasing us! I whined.

Then am I not visible for you?🙁 Maya asked with a pout.

They came towards us. Ram circled his arm around pooja's shoulder and started walking. Kavin came near me and circled his arm like Ram did to Pooja. He came near my ears and whispered Are you planning to kill me?

I turned suddenly confused by his words. And our both faces are inches apart. His breath fanning my face.

If beauty is poison, you're definitely a killer! He said huskily and walked casually still his hand on my shoulder.

It took me some minutes to process what he said and meant. I blushed profusely thinking what happened just now again and again.

I, him, Maya and Kathir in one car with kathir driving the car. And pooja, ram, anna and anni in another car. Then our family and neighbors are in a small van.

Kathir played some songs while driving. Suddenly an idea popped in my mind. I gave my mobile to Maya whispering my idea in her ear. Kavin looked at us confused.

Maya did what I told her. The song started playing. Yes! I asked her to play one particular song which will convey my words to him through the lyrics.

During the whole song, I constantly looked at him like I'm conveying the message to him. I placed my hand on his hand which is rested in seat. He jerked first but I gripped it tightly so he let it be. His face looks like he's in deep thinking and he tried his best to suppress the smile which threatened to appear on his face.

We reached the hall. The hall was decorated gracefully. We 4 went to stage by maya kathir anna and anni. Soon guests started coming and the photographer started clicking pics. Jyo and surya also came and mingled with family.

Vidhya, vaishu and shakthi stood there with a smile. They are our neighbor in childhood and my close friends more like my family. Vaishu and vidhya are sisters and shakthi is their cousin.

Haiii! Vidhu! Vaishu akka! Shakthi! How are you all? Long time no see! Maya jumped in excitement and ran to them.

She hugged them one by one tightly. Maya is so close with three of them especially with vidhu and shakthi than vaishu. Like kathir and maya, they both are tom and jerry. And vaishu is close with me

Who are they? Kavin and kathir asked in unison. Kathir's face went pale suddenly which I don't know why!

They're are our neighbor cum childhood frnds! I said smilingly. Kavin nodded with a smile.

Soon they're all on stage. Vaishu hugged me saying congrats.

Hello anna! I'm Vaishu, your wife's frnd. She is my sister vidhu and he's my cousin but more like my brother shakthi! Vaishu intoduced with a smile.

Where is aunty and uncle. You all came alone? Kavin asked. Vaishu face went pale hearing this.

No anna. They're no more. She said like a whisper.

Oh I'm sorry ma. Don't worry! Here you're calling me anna ryt? Then I'm your brother! And we're family ryt? Kavin said in a apologizing tone. Vaishu smiled with a nod. I cleared my throat. Vaishu twisted her lips at me😏.

You don't dare to talk with me! You didn't call me for mughil Anna's marriage! She said.

Oops! Vaishu.. I lost your contact at that time. Now only I got your contact from our old friend. I'm sorry dear! I said. She smiled and hugged me saying it's okay.

Hahaha! See who is asking for free chocolates🤭 Shakthi teased her. Vidhya glared and twisted her lips at him.

Why not vidhu? You're my darling right? Maya said with a chuckle.

Then who am I? Shakthi asked with a fake hurt face.

You're also my darling! Come we have so much to talk! Saying this maya dragged them from stage after intoducing them to Pooja and Ram. Vaishu talked with me for sometime and went to my amma, appa, anna and anni after congratulating pooja and ram.

Kathir stood beside us in a restless mode biting his nail violently like he's going to eat his finger and hand too. To my surprise, he didn't flirt with vaishu or vidhu too.

Kathir! Are you okay? I asked him.

Yes.. Yes kanns. I'm okay. Just give me a minute. Saying this he left the stage after having a small convo with kavin who's chuckling at him.

Then after about half an hour, shakthi and vidhya came to stage.

Akka! Amma is calling me constantly. I didn't tell her about coming here with them. So I'm leaving now. I'm sorry akka. Shakthi said in a apologetic tone. I know about his mom. She's not so happy about him spending time with vaishu and vidhu.

I nodded. It's okay da! Come another time okay? I said he nodded with a smile.

Akka! I'm also going! Public exams are coming near so I have to prepare. Dei Shakthi! Will you Drop me and go? Vidhya said.

As if you leave if I say no! Come! All is my fate! Shakthi said in a boring tone.

Vaishu.. Can you come alone? He asked.

Did you both eat? Kavin asked. They both nodded and left after bidding bye to everyone. Vaishu spent some time with amma, appa and maya.

Then we had dinner. Photographer asked us to feed each other. I remembered how he bite my finger while feeding me in our marriage. So now I bite him when he feeds me. He looked at me widening his eyes. I winked and shrugged casually.😜 Tit for tat!

Vaishu left after that. I insisted her to go with anna but she refused saying that she'll manage by taking bus or taxi as anna is busy with other things. I agree finally without choice.

Guests are all left. Now our families only present here. Time is almost half past 10.

Then the couple photos was taken. Pooja and Ram posed like models. They both are so easy with each other. Here I'm so much affected even to be standing near him.

Photographer asked Kavin to kiss my forehead. He looked at me intensely. Jyo, anni and others started teasing us. I blushed profusely denying to pose. But photographer is in no mood to leave us.

Finally kavin gripped my both shoulders and placed his lips on my forehead closing his eyes. I too closed my eyes feeling the moment.

We both parted with photo clicking sounds. He turned other side with a shy smile and my face became beetroot red.

After taking more poses, we went to our home exhausted. Today Pooja and Ram is going to stay here only. Others left.

We both changed into night clothes and slept because of tiredness.
